I like the idea of building a dinosaur wall deck, which you have to destroy all your walls BEFORE casting your commander than you try to kill everyone at the same time
I actually got a Gishath as a prize card on day two of the pre-release event. The store owner specifically found Gishath for me when my wife and I came in second place in the 2HG event.
This is the deck deck I have been looking for because I bought the velociraptor precon and I opened a gishath at pre-release months ago and I probably have some of the cards that aren't already in the precon sitting around in my bulk because I played during both previous ixalan blocks
actually good ideas on paper. I played gishath as commander way before when old ixalan was standard and I have to say if you pump your deck more non-dinos then gishath value drops very rapidly. If you need ramp in gishat deck then you need topiary stomper and every more-than-1 land ramp spells and power pumper cards like heraldic banner. If you cant clean your overall deck for gishath then pantlaza is much better commander. For gishath commander topiary stomper, marauding raptor, heraldic banner, glorious sunrise (even for just name shenigan) are must have and every 2+ ramp spells, gwenna, eye of gae, gyre sage and land cycle dinos instead mana rock and lastly changeling green creatures are fine for the combo aswell.
A good budget deck. Though, by the title, i was hoping it focused on a jurassic park theme deck featuring the new jurassic park cards and the secret lair ones.
Youre gonna need gods will,dont move,swooping pteranodon and a few more JP cards and as much kand ramp you can. Im trying to make mine a 10 THREAT LEVEL.

I pulled a pantzla and huatli poet of unity. I also own a og ghalta. What would you recommend to upgrade with those?
Verdant Sun's Avatar, Raging Swordtooth, and Shifting Ceratops would all be fine substitutions.

I brand new to Magic. What would a deck like this be rated? Trying to compare with what my friends play with and if this would be competitive.
Also how much better would the upgrades you mentioned like ghalta, etali primal conqueror, etc (all of them) make the deck overall?
The deck isn’t FAST by far, and even the upgrades wouldn’t make it competitive. I don’t like number ratings for decks, but this is a 5 or 6.
@@CommanderMechanic I believe they play with 6’s so maybe it will be good enough after the upgrades!
