Beautiful to have a reminder how good Peter was in his day. My parents used to take me and my two sisters to see bell vue aces in the early to mid seventies. The atmosphere the smell and Peter Collins doing what he did best has stuck with me as it was only yesterday, the sport of real men

I know exactly what u mean about the unique smell of a speedway event, I used to go every meeting at Hyde Road in the early 80’s with my dad & brother. PC was still a legend then & along with Chris Morton, they were my heroes & I really miss that era. Great times.

It's Absolutely heartbreaking what has become of Coventry Speedway 😢😥😟 Loved going there and I wernt ã Coventry fan .Been for quite ã few British Finals+ League matches ( Halifax/Bradford Dukes Mē) . Just Love speedway
