I always loved how straight up the trailer is, no exaggeration, no lies, just pure and natural gameplay that honestly feels really accurate compared to the experience you get when playing normally, like going nuts while building or accidently dying while tossing bombs.

I've been playing this game since 2014 on mobile and it has been a great time playing with friends and family on this game, many countless memories made on this game, and possibly more to come, if you also played Terraria on mobile long ago, you would also remember Ocram and the Soul of Blight he dropped, you may even remember that he'd sometimes crash your game lol, good times
@@frankly1516 People usually use bombs to destroy the ebonstone (purple stone) and get to the shadow orb inside but this person is instead using purification powder to turn the ebonstone into normal stone so they can mine it.
yeah it´s a good move untill you realise purification powder is post boss. and bombs pre boss. it would still be better to use bombs. so you can get the loot earlier.
This game was my entire childhood, I remember when cacti did damage, when skeletron was the first boss, when you had to have a key to open floating island chests. Good times

Just a theory though, can’t wait till launch!!
Terraria is like a fine gem that's been polished for over 10 years. Now it's shining so bright and beautiful, you really have to admire the amount of dedication that went into this little indie game.
NintendoGuy64 It may seem like they're gone now, but a lot of sprites use that skull, or a recolour of it, like the mechanical skull. Not only that, but if you look at the Otherworld trailer, the skeletons appear to be an HD version of that (likely because the ones in normal Terraria wouldn't really work in Otherworld)
Holy crap this gives me nostalgia.. I remember when I was 5 and made a world on my crappy old tablet, it was an itty bitty world and I went in blind. I called it "fun world." The first time I beat the eye of cthulhu.. I did it with hecking cactus armor and a bow loaded with flaming arrows. Before moving on, I decided to make a new world to keep fun world as a fun, messing around world where I wouldn't have to worry about the spread of the corruption (I did some wiki reading after the eye of cthulhu fight.) Beating the wall of flesh for the first time was such a good feeling, too. I think I did it with molten armor and a runway across the whole underworld. The last time I logged off that world, I had gotten to lava waders, frostspark boots, some other random accessories, a full set of turtle armor, and a terra blade. I had beaten every boss available on that old mobile device. Unfortunately, while I can still access the world if I dug out my old tablet and plugged it in, the old kindle ain't compatible with the newest updates that would let me transfer the world from my tablet to my pc. So once that old kindle dies, I'll lose the world too ;( Now, 8 years later, with 1.4 out, I'm doing a second playthrough, on a world named "Fun World, The True Sequel," to pay my respects to the amazing yet doomed world that got me into this amazing game. I'm working on preparing to fight Plantera, but life fruits are painfully hard to find.
I've had a similar experience with the game when I first got it for my first tablet in like 2014 or something. I remember using the duplication glitch they hadn't fixed at the time to beat the Wall of Flesh. I'm glad I didn't lose the tablet or the world too as the old thing is going on 8 years old now. I wonder if your Kindle supports the update that lets you cloud save to Google tho, maybe you can preserve it that way.

I remember playing terraria at my grandparents house on their ipad. Didnt know how to buy games back then, hell, didnt even know any of the languages the game was in. But it was one of my favorite games back then, i was always excited to play it while at my grandparents. Unfortunately due to 3 kids having access to the ipad we often deleted eachothers worlds. 3 years ago or so me and a friend bought terraria and started playing together. We accidentally started on expert and never got to the wall of flesh cuz we were scared of how the world difficulty would increase after that. I still remember those playing sessions. We played during online lessons and after them. They were a wonderfull person, even if we lost contact after graduating middle school. I got back into the game recently. Prepearing to beat Moonlord for the first time ever.

I know how you feel. At first I thought, "this doesn't even feel like Terraria anymore... is this where the game is headed?", and then I thought, "you know what? They'll make it fantastic, just as they have in every Terraria update". I wasn't sold on it at first, but I think it'll turn out great :)

I guess every terraria went through that, it is the natural order of things...

I remember playing terraria at my grandparents house on their ipad. Didnt know how to buy games back then, hell, didnt even know any of the languages the game was in.
But it was one of my favorite games back then, i was always excited to play it while at my grandparents. Unfortunately due to 3 kids having access to the ipad we often deleted eachothers worlds.
3 years ago or so me and a friend bought terraria and started playing together. We accidentally started on expert and never got to the wall of flesh cuz we were scared of how the world difficulty would increase after that. I still remember those playing sessions. We played during online lessons and after them. They were a wonderfull person, even if we lost contact after graduating middle school.
I got back into the game recently. Prepearing to beat Moonlord for the first time ever.
I know you probably have already beaten the moon lord, (this comment is 2 months later) but I want to say good luck and I loved the story
