You're right. The difference between lebron and kobe was that kobe didn't make excuses for losing, unlike lebron. Kobe gave his physical all while lebron likes to rest and take games off. Kobe was a true competitor. Not a team hopping bum who ran when things got tough. He beat the teams lebron couldn't defeat in the finals without a top 75 player. Lebron needed a super team just to beat them. Kobe didn't go around calling himself the goat. He didn't go around looking for praise. He could care less. He just wanted to win. The right way though. Lebron is the opposite of that. Hence, why kobe ultimately got his respect. So much respect that people say the league hasn't been competitive since he left.

A lot of people definitely would take one last opportunity to take a giant crap on LeBron James on his way out the door. In particular, the Michael Jordan faithful, that would take one more opportunity to remind him that he was never Michael Jordan and didn’t really get close. He would hear a lot of that.
Respectfully Mr. Broussard, you'd have to be off your rocker to believe that LeBron won't announce a farewell tour. I mean really! This is the guy that held a nearly hour-long press conference to announce he was going to Miami. The guy who held a pre-season "concert" where he promised that he, Wade and Bosh would win, "Not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, not 5, not 6..." championships. The guy who told everyone to "keep that same energy" after being lampooned for the veteran age of the Lakers' roster. The guy who said that he was the GOAT because he'd beaten the Warriors in Game 7. A guy who wants so badly to be as admired, respected and revered as Michael Jordan that he rebooted Space Jam. You really think THAT guy won't do everything within his power to financially benefit from a farewell tour?!! If anything LeBron's probably waiting to announce a farewell tour until he can get Adam Silver to approve a cut of ticket sales for every game he plays.
LBJ and Paul and his whole agency and team are smart business men. They are hyenas. They will market and make money on the opportunity.

Great ambassador for the game ? Where China?
NBA oh I see you a hater huh punk
I think LeBron will get more praise if he does his farewell tour in a Cleveland jersey than a Lakers jersey. LA doesn’t love him or accept him the way he thinks they do. His behavior while in the purple and gold is looking like he’s jealous of the amount of love and respect Kobe garnered in that city and wants to kind of overshadow and erase that so he can call himself King of LA or something. This is not fact. Just my opinion from observation.
Ambassador for the game?? Curry is the ambassador for the NBA. James is a clown self righteous hypocrite
He will get more boo’s then praises on his tour !!
One of the few times I agree with Rob. 👍
This is low key kind of sad. Somebody can give there whole life to the game for 20 something years and people hate him.
Except for 20 games per year "load management", of course… and chasing "more help", instead of "giving it all". :)
And, most importantly: the fans and HE HIMSELF calling him goat, therefore DISRESPECTING the real contenders.
Nah what's sad is saying you the goat but got the most finals losses and swept more than any player in history. He should have just stayed humble, not be a flopper, not be a loser with excuses, not team hopping for cheap titles with ready made teams and be a leader. The fact that you still don't know why that bum is hated shows your youth and naivety.
@@Zett76 he gets hard fouled with no calls more than he flops, heck more than anyone in the league. He plays the most physical brand of basketball in the NBA Right now but you'll all just call him soft no matter what. So what if calls himself the GOAT and why would you hold it against somebody for being a fan of LeBron. He doesn't load manage at all, he's played more minutes than anyone in NBA history. And just because he wants help to win doesn't mean he doesn't give it his all. Look at those first cavs years and 2018. He still gave it his all even though he knew he didn't stand a chance. The whole league came together to form teams, strictly to beat LeBron so yes of course he'd want more star players to ultimately win. You people don't even think rationally about anything when it comes to LeBron. You sound like Satan worshippers when they talk about Jesus. No reason at all to hate on him the way y'all do yet you still do it and make sport out of it.
@@foundationsyth9825 "he gets hard fouled with no calls … more than ANYONE in the league"
THAT one is new. *g*
Strangely, NOBODY ELSE ever "saw" what you "see"…
"Most physical brand … right now"
Did you really say "right now"? 😁
…but yes, he WAS the most
physical one.
He was an f-ing elbower. ALL. THE. TIME.
@@foundationsyth9825 "He doesn‘t load manage at all"
Are you drunk? High?
Both? 😆
this is why he's 50/50 bc he knows he wont get the love he wants from some cities lol
Nor should he lol
@@Dante.the.inferno😂 but he will
The fact that Lebron has to ask himself questions. He was never asked that he CREATED the headline AS USUAL.
In Rob voice : GOOOOOOODDDD RIDDEEENNCCEEEE
I don't think fans will boo him. I think he will definitely do a farewell tour. Too much spectacle and TV ratings to pass up. I think he has two years left though. I think he'll finish his Lakers contract and then do a final season in Cleveland. Doesn't seem like Bronny is going to make the NBA based on how he is playing currently so I can't see the father son thing happening.
Lebron done now he can’t defend to save his life and he stay doing offensive fouls
