*This Argan Rain shampoo worked great to give my hair shine! It made my hair very soft and manageable as well. It smells absolutely wonderful! I would highly recommend this product and I will be buying more!*
Arganrain is Excellent
OMG!I find you literally 15 min ago but i `ve already fall in love ! Could you tell me what camera do you use and what lithing?( or maybe somebody else know? )
Hanging out at work, watching amazing videos by my sister! Love the color beautiful lady!
xoxoxoxo
i want this colour so bad!! I'm in the process of making my hair lighter as well to go pastel colours and it is such a pain in the butt! I'm so excited to see your videos!
Omg Tasha mint hair would look amazing I would love to see a video on it ! Love you!
The Blond Me series from Schwazkopf has amazing pastel colours!
The combination Strawberry/Caramel is my favorite!
Hey Tasha! In your silver hair tutorial, you said that the shimmer lights didn't really work to bring your hair to a white. Is your hair bleached lighter than the first time you did it, or did you figure out a way to make it work?
Absolutely love this on you. You also look like you could be Ellie Gouldings twin--double win!
***** Oh my gosh. Too kind.
I also love how you take the time out to reply to everyone. Your humbleness is beautiful.
***** This was the nicest comment to read. So sweet of you. Xo.
I read this and thought it said double chin
Hey Tasha,
I would recommend getting authentic Moroccan oil.
When I went on holiday and got the real stuff, my hair felt so much softer and healthier.
Try get your hands in some !
- Awesome video !
I'm in love with your hair!!😁
Love your taste in style and music. & of coarse all your vids.. Adorable as always! :)
How often do you dye your haair? How is it not ruined. I love these videos, wish I could do something like this with my hair!
argan oil is one of the best things to treat dry hair. I bough a bottle 3 weeks ago and now my hair feels really hydrated
Hi, I really love your videos. I have dyed my hair a light ash blonde, but the silver shampoo that you recommend hasn't really worked on all my hair, just parts. Would you recommend using more shampoo in longer hair, or should I consider bleaching my whole head again next month to go even lighter?
Hi, I have just come across your channel and I really love it! I am currently happy with my hair and I don't want to dye it but I find your hair routine so interesting :) xxx
Thanks love!
my hair is like a light gold blonde and i want it a lighter blonde almost going to a white kinda blonde! i really want my hair to lighten up, but i'm afraid it will get damaged and get dry, what could i use? i normally go for non-toxic products and everything natural, but i'm getting frustrated! can you give me some tips of what to do and how i can achieve getting the hair color i want? PLZZZZZ
btw awesome hair, looks good on you
your videos are amazing! I'm going white once my rainbow-ness fades out and this is a really easy way to do it! thank you thank you THANK YOU!
Before you ever dyed your hair, did you bleach your hair? Also do you know where I could get a temporary hair dye that I don't have to bleach my black hair for?
Shimmer lights also make a conditioner that works great!
I was wondering (and I hope you don't mind be asking) what is the meaning behind your tattoos? The "5B" and "5A" on your wrist/ arm!
Hi! I was wondering what color you would suggest for someone who is 13 and has never dyed their hair pastel/bleached their hair before. I have got it a few times, but it was brown or purpleish red. I really like pastel orange/coral/lilac/blue/pink but then again I really like all pastel hair. What color would you suggest and what you suggesting going to a salon?
Love the way you say Lilac!!
Thank you for doing this. I have been trying to decide to go gray or white or platnium from my already brown/red dyed hair but I am so afraid that I will ruin it by doing it myself. Any more tips on what I should do? I don't wanna pay to have it done but I do want to do it at some point!
Hi! I don't know if you've dyed your hair already..but I would most definitely use a color remover such as "color oops" which you can get at any drug or grocery store, or "color fix" that you can get at Sally's Beauty Supply or any beauty supply store.
Then, I'd wait about 4 days without washing your hair. On the 4th night, before you go to bed, put coconut oil all over your hair, from root to tip. (You can get coconut oil at any grocery store really. It looks like a big jar of a white solid) and put either a shower cap, plastic bag, or plastic wrap and wrap it around your head. This will help the oil penetrate deeper into the hair shaft and help your hair stay hydrated and protect it for the bleaching process.
When you wake up, you're ready to bleach your hair! Do not rinse or wash the coconut oil out, as it will help protect your hair and your scalp from the bleach.
Bleach your hair until it's a very pale yellow (like the inside of a banana peel) and tone it!
I would use Wella Color Charm in the shade "T18 lightest ash blonde", mix it with a 20 volume developer. If you're going for "gray" or "silver" hair, I would also put in the additive "050 cooling violet" this is a longer lasting way to make your hair gray. To maintain it I would encourage you not to wash your hair too too often. Like she said in the video, you'll want your hair to build up oils because it will be quite damaged. So maybe every 3 days? With a purple shampoo 😊 I really hope this helped!
Brie Balagtas Thanks so much Brie! I still have not done it but want to dye it at some point in the future! You are so sweet for taking the time to write this for me! I really appreciate it! Hope you are having an awesome weekend! xx
Which song did you use on the background during the coloring? Thanks!
tasha!! theres some golden tones in my hair that absolutely won't budge, any tips?
try a wella toner (or any toner you'd like)!
spot treat the where the brassiness is most prominent
What a neat shampoo!
Hi! I have a question: so, I have the shimmer lights shampoo and i use that and leave it in for about 30 minutes (for silver hair) and I also have the shimmer lights conditioner, but it leaves my hair really dry, so I have the same oil as you. Should i rinse the oil out in the shower as well, or should I just put it on damp hair?
put it in damp hair after the shower and comb through.
Hi !! Omg you look so beautiful!!! :D I love this hair color. I want to try it on myself. I have so many questions!! Let's see if you can help me.. 1. I have light brown hair that gets really blonde with a little bit of bleach. I've been doing highlights just with a little bit of bleach and in about 30 min I get almost white hair. So. My question is, should I first bleach all my hair, and then use this product? :) and If I want extensions, should I put on extensions after I get this hair color? ( buying them already in this shade if that is possible.. ) I hope you can help me!!! Thanks for all your tutorials, I love how you embrace change with such a great attitude! :D
You mentioned a conditioner that lightened your hair? Are you talking about the Clairol Shimmer Lights Purple Conditioner?
Omg you should totally go mint! It would look so nice on you
Hi, nice video! Is this light blond that you have in the beginning the wella t18 that you put in after bleaching ? Did it turn out like this? Its so light and fab!
During the five days that you don't wash your hair, what else do you use? I have heard some shampoos are not good for your hair if you are using this product. However is Herbal Essence okay to use?
heei tasha :)
I would love to have white hair, but I live in Switzerland and I can't find any store that ships the shimmerlights shampoo to my country :(
Do you know where I can get it? :)
Or do you know of any other shampoos with the same effect?
Thaanks for your reply :)
Oh and by the way.. I love love love looove your channel ♥
Hey Tash :)
Do you bleach/dye/tone your extensions separately from your hair or all together? Because I'm thinking about getting extension but my color is particular and every time I dye my hair it turns out a little different and I'm afraid the extension might not match my hair color all the times. Please help me,I love you and your videos
I usually do them separately, yes! But I do the exact same thing as I would do to my regular hair. I try to make sure my extensions match my hair before dying them pastel, then I usually only have to refresh my hair when I wash it in the shower. It is a pain, but definitely worth it for long hair. Thanks so much for watching lovely.
Thanks for the tips and for answering :3
Okay so i straighten my hair ALOT like every day for a year or so. I want to stop because i am just itiching to bleach my hair blonde. I have chestnut colored hair and I just absolutly hate it. Ive been watching your videos and im just wondering what i can do to make it ready to bleach it or even if i should. xxx p.s my hair is about as long as yours in this video without the extensions. :)
so, i only have to use this shampoo the first day or every time that i shower? thanks :)
Can you do a video on how you keep your hair so healthy ?
I left it on for an hour and it kinda got rid of some of the pieces that turned a little orange. But it did leave cool looking pieces of purple and silver. If I wash it is it going to get rid of the purple? Or do you think it'll stay?
Lilac! I did it and I loved it😊
hello just came across ur channel and im so happy that u have originally black hair like me, my hairstylist told me she cant get my hair too blond to like white like this without bleaching it till it becomes like chewing gum where as i see ur hair is fine can u explain to me how and ill show her ur answer cuz i like have 0 kwnloedge about hair and i just want very very light color that i can play with other colors on top with i feel its impossible to me and that my hair will fall off , did ur hair get very very damaged ? thanks alot btw i did bleach my ends a bit to the degree my stylist felt was the lightest it can get without damging it and it ended up ike caramel color and i didnt like it so i dyed it back black and now the black is fading thats my one and only expreience with hair color aside from chalk
Everybody has different hair types, it really depends on your ethnicity, diet and hair care. Hairstylists are not always right, but if your hairstylist advises you not to bleach, you probably shouldn't. I've bleached my hair 4 times in a row without much damage, but I know people who leave bleach in for 20 minutes and their hair starts to fall out in clumps. If you really want to bleach your hair, be sure to choose the lowest percentage. Let your hair get really greasy and apply serum to the tips of your hair before you bleach. Be sure to rinse out as soon as you see any signs of damage.
I am trying to ombré and balyage my hair. my natural hair is semi-dark brown, and I've used the box ombré kits a couple times for a couple of months and my hair came out ombré! BUT it's more of an orangey blonde but I want blonde blonde, what should I do?!? keep bleaching it? or tone it? orrrr?
How long would you need to use this to achieve how light your hair is? I leave mine in for 3+ minutes and I have streaks of white with the rest of yellow. :(
Hi, I'm a really natural light blond! if I used this without bleaching it, would it work to the same extent as it did with yours!? :D I love the color and really want lilac hair!
Depends how light, it might not do this exactly, but it will definitely take any brassy tones out of your hair. Also if left in long enough, it might make your hair lilac/purply!
Love your hair! I just dyed my hair for the first time :D It's now light blonde/ white with some parts that are a little bit yellow-ish :/ I used purple shampoo couple of times, but it's still yellow. What should I do?
Leave the shampoo on for longer
I bleach my hair from naturally dark dark brown, When ever I bleach it gets really white, then literally 4-5 days later it turns yellow even with purple shampoo (paulmitchell forever blonde) what else can I do to get rid of the brassyness and keep it platinum/blonde? its getting really damanged from all the constant bleaching
I plan on going mint&coral, pravana pastels :)
I recently died my hair lavender and I love it but I'm ready to change the color! It seems that no matter how much i seem to wash my hair there are some parts of the lavender that won't wash out- although the color was semi permanent! Any ideas?
If the yellow comes through during the 1-5 day time period, does it show when you add in the pastel colors?
Not necessarily but those patchy places will come out darker than the rest of your hair or can still show somewhat blonde parts
Does it wash out easily and do I have to use it every time to keep the color?
You do amazing hair videos! And how to keep your hair so healthy with so much dying? 😕
Because I mix my pastel colours with conditioner it's almost like doing a hair mask rather than colouring. I plan to do a hair care video soon though!
My hair doesn't tone as fast as yours for some reason lol. Whenever I put purple shampoo on my light blonde hair, it only turns white If I leave it in for like 20 minutes :(
try to use a toner. Directions have a white toner or you could also mix a little bit of a lilac toner with a looooooot of conditioner
just a warning. like she said the shampoo CAN definitely turn your hair purple. i went to a salon and they turned my hair purple doing this. the texture and absorbency of your hair plays a roll. my hair soaks up colors super easy this i left the salon with light blue hair after she tried to fix it... hope i helped someone
do i need to use it everyday ? please answer soon , thank u
You don't
Q: my hair is a complete mess up; I dyed it violet, then blue, then the mix of the two.. now, I look like a purple/blue/silver zebra! I have bleached it three times already, last was done by a professional; unfortunately she did a lousy job and literally fried my hair. So, bleaching now it not an option. I tried the vitamin C method.. it worked well, but dried my hair a lil bit.. I really want a decent color..and I am dying to have the silver hair.. sos!
Mona Al Hendi As long as you have the majority of the dark colours our of your hair you would probably be alright going ahead and doing silver. Try using the 050 Cooling Violet Toner from wella! Or if you are seriously afraid of any damage, the fanci-full line at Sally's has a temp. grey!
how long does it last? before it goes back to your normal hair color?
love this. I'm dyeing my hair silver/lavender soon and i'm terrified of it turning blonde. There's a Sally's near my house so hopefully I can pick this up! :) I think i'd probably use this stuff 5 hours of the day though haha just in case.
In order to achieve this light silver your hair was already pretty platnium, was that a result of bleaching? I'm a natural blonde and I love this light silver color I'm just not sure if a bleaching is required for my hair or not
You don't need to bleach it, the shampoo will take out the natural yellow tones of your hair
Wait so what's the generic brand shampoo equivalent of the shimmer light again?
Can I wait more than 5 minutes ? For the shampoo (sorry for my english i'm french)
I can see a bit of purple throughout your hair. Still looks very cool.
Do you use any hair masks or deep conditioners?
Another amazing toner to get white hair like seriously white hair is wella color touch 10/81 you will look like Mr clean
hello , i live in france and all the products that u r showing are not sold here , i would love to know how to turn your hair fro dark brown to light ash blonde , my wedding is weeks away ,plzz help !!
Hi! Whats the difference between the conditioner and shampoo? Sorry I'm really confused
The shampoo is better if you only want one of the two. The shampoo is easier to tell a difference with results and it's more pigmented
^False. Honestly I've had better results with silver conditioner as it's less frying (yes, shampoo on hair for extended periods of time can remove most of it's moisture, many experts have told me so). I leave it on for the night and it does wonders to tone my blonde hair. The shampoo may seem more pigmented due to the fact that it has to be, since it's a shampoo and most of the pigment gets lost after rinsing it out after anyways. :) That's my experience :D
how did you get the light blonde hair you started off with ? :)
I have Regis Designline super silver shampoo, would that do the same as the shimmer lights one? it is purple and is suppose to lift.
How will I apply the hair lightener on ombré hair? I do not want any sharpe edges .. 😑
i love this color but nit brave to have it done myself .. i ask a stylist and she said no i will not if my hairs blackish brown ..
Hiya! I have lilac hair can I was it with this to help keep up the lilac?
I've been trying to get this blonde :( I bleached my hair twice and it's not terribly damaged. it's more of an orange/copper brassy color ab halfway all the way to the ends. Should I do a bleach bath, or just bleach it again?
What color did your hair start out before you bleached it? And what color is your root area?
a medium brown. & my roots plus a few inches, are extremely blonde.
Give your hair some time to rest is the best advice I can give you! You'll need to continue lightening your hair, you really need to get that orange/brassy colour out! Email me some photos if you need more help!
Hey, how did you get the gorgeous blonde you started with? :)
love love love!!! XO
What happens if the hair is a darker shade of blonde and you apply this sampoo? Will it have any effect?
***** oh...thanks anyway :)
Hey how to get again green hair to white hair without damaging'' My hair is now green csz i want to bleach my hair whitening'' Plz reply me ^^
This hair color is so pretty on you! One day I want to try having light hair! I can't wait to see you with pastel hair! I have a beauty/lifestyle/health channel as well if anyone would like to check it out!
how do you keep care of your hair from damaging?
the schampoo where do you get this? in the nederlands also?
My hair gets realllly oily after a day without shampooing so I have to wash my hair daily. I don't need oils or anything since my hair is super sleek and silky
So u just put on doing oil and rinse as you would with the conditioner?
nah you leave it in.
Love your videos :)
Do you apply the oil during the shower or after? I love your hair
Daniela Compeán After, on damp hair! Love ya!
Tasha Leelyn but i have dark brown hair :( what do you do to get from dark brown hair to white hair?
+Wendoline Acosta (Wendy) Bleach your hair as light as you can. use a toner or purple shampoo to take out left over brassyness.
+Aileen Ward ok thank you i just really wanna make sure i get it all right I've never bleached my hair before so lol im kinda scared. ^-^
I want a pure Snow-White pleeeeaaasssee!
so that shampoo turns ur hair grey?
Hey I Currently Have Bright Pink Hair, Do You Have Any Tips On How To Make It More Pastel?
michela camporeale Mix your pink to the desired colour you want using diluter or conditioner, I have so many videos showing you this :)
Where did you get your hat/ what brand is it??
gorgeouss!!!
You uploaded this video on my birthday :D
I looooove shimmer lights. It's a blonde girls best friend
My hair is the same color as yours and i put this in for 3-5 min and barely anything happens..? help >.
Anita Marie try it on damp hair not on completely wet hair that way you can get the even distribution and leave it on your hair for about 30 minutes cause my hair is more blonde than hers and I leave this in my hair for 30 minutes and my hair gets white like super white
I can't get shimmer lights shampoo anywhere in Finland ): And it's so expensive to order from U.K
just buy normal silver shampoo, it has the same effect :)
I've tried color freeze by schwarzkopf aand biozell grey color mask but I really can't see the difference. I even tried to tone my hair with home made conditioner + purple dye toner but after that I had like lilac stripes in my hair then I dyed my hair with cool blonde color and it turned out as green.
There's something really wrong with my hair. :D
I always use the Swiss O Pear Silver Shampoo. It is highly pigmented and works so good! I don't know if it's avaible in you country (I live in Germany)
Don't forget to wash your hair with a clarifying shampoo before using the purple shampoo since it does not get rid of any build up. It will make a huge difference ! xoxo :)
what kind of extensions do you wear?
In the states? Where are you from?
Ontario, Canada!
Tasha Leelyn Desnoyers In Toronto?
My ends are bleached will this work on them or I'll have to try something else ?
Iris Roman It should yes! If they are light enough!
It would be lovely to see you with mint hair!
Tasha Leelyn Have you tried Touch of Silver shampoo by provoke? Is it just as effective?
Leex 95 I haven't tried it, sorry!
Tasha Leelyn Okay,thanks anyways! :)
I have tried the touch of silver shampoo that you but in your hair twice a week, and honestly it isn't working for me. I don't think it has many much is any difference, so I wouldn't recommend it.
Im pretty sure im the only guy to watch this but it was useful and kinda easier than i thought this would be
is that permamently?
I've wanted to do something different with my hair but i have no idea what to try i would appreciate it if you could help what suit me, i think you'd be great at that :)
I have a question! I've dyed my hair many times, now my hair is like blue, and I want it to be white. But I'm totally afraid of my hair falls. What should I do???? answers pls
You should use products to help out repair most of the damage from coloring. If you bleach it again, don't do it alone! Try a professional or someone who has worked with hair and colors such as this.
+Mariia Renee which products should I use???
+Maria Villaescusa because I don't know exactly what type of hair do you have, I would recommend you for you to research base of your hair type. Invest of hair creams like L'oreal's Dry Defy cream and also leave in conditioner that works best for your hair. Don't forget to trim your ends. Oh! And also masques for your hair as well. Rather than just doing it before you re-dye, you should continue this so your hair can stay as healthy as possibly and it'll be harder for your hair to get severely damaged
+Mariia Renee well, I'll do it. thanksssss ❤
