The practice of figuring out the shape of hands becomes more intuitive and if you enjoy numbers, knowing probability of distribution patters helps you make good guesses.
It will be very helpful if you discuss how to make a contract (sure tricks and tricks need to be develop) and how to defeat a contact e.g. in this example how can we make at least 5 tricks. And lastly, why to wait till last trick to play Ace of Heart vs. earlier ? Thanks
To be honest I’ve never found the concept of counting winners and winners needed very helpful. I normally simply try to take as many tricks as I can on every hand. I’ll try and explain what I mean in an upcoming video. Which hand number was the Ace of Hearts hand? I’ll check for you.
That’s me! Learning to shake off the silly mistakes I make is a work in progress but in a funny sort of way it’s part of the reason I like bridge. I get to practice shaking off silly mistakes in a game that seems important at the time but, in reality, it is just a game. Anyway, happy new year, Barbara, and all the best for 2024.
Thanks. Looking forward to the videos. Cheers
First one coming any day now. 😀
Thanks Graeme!
Thanks D!

Yeah, it’s all about patterns and not so much counting.
Graeme. This is fun
It’s still just a card game so we might as well enjoy it!
Still having trouble counting so more of your lessons are welcome

I like when you make fon call with banana
You needed an undo button this session!
Or more tissues.
In game 2 do you think that E/W had four spades on?
They’d lose two diamonds and two spades and probably more so no, I don’t think they’d make 4S.
Do you have an undo button Graeme
No undo button. It’s more fun this way!
