I totally agree that I wish there was an option on our accounts that says if we’ve already received a product or not because I LOVE getting my subscription boxes, but it really gets frustrating and gets me closer and closer to canceling when I receive the same products every month.
I heard from another creator that if you rate/review the items they shouldn't send duplicates.

@@ashgirl1199 No. It’s just they don’t have any kind of system on your account that says what products you’ve gotten in the past, so you sometimes receive a product that you’ve already gotten in a past box. So, I was saying that I wish there was some sort of record of the products you’ve received to stop them from sending out any duplicates. I hope that makes sense. Lol. But, I’ve had SEVERAL boxes that I had received a product that I’ve already gotten in past boxes. It’s okay sometimes if they’re products that are commonly often restocked and they are spaced out at least yearly. But, I received the Item Beauty mascara and then received the exact same mascara the following month. So, it gets a little frustrating. I have a 16 year old daughter, so I always give my duplicates to her anyway. But still, to get your hopes and get excited for new products just to receive some that you’ve already gotten in past boxes is a little annoying.
well if you buy two bags each month for over a year at some point there gunna run out of products and they have a lot of customers to keep track of
I COMPLETELY AGREE WITH YOU that the warehouse side of Ipsy needs to get it together. I CONSTANTLY have issues (missing products, damaged products, etc.) and then it takes forever for me to receive the bag. I also agree with you that Ipsy is probably charging more every few months because they can't get their back of house processes straight. Thanks for your preceptive analysis on that.
The shipping is horrible. Im still waiting for my may and june bags. I never had a problem with shipping until may. Im canceling after july, hopefully they will arrive on time.
I canceled Ipsy a few months ago. They raised the prices once or twice last year and now they are adding the "handling fee." I agree that the bags are the best part.
I used to have so many subscriptions and the past few weeks I’ve suffered FOMO. 😂 This video was exactly the reminder I needed for the disappointing customer service and products I kept receiving! Thank you so much for being honest with your feelings/opinions. While I LOVED the bags themselves, it’s not worth the $15 + for the hassle. My june bag had a full size eyeshadow palette, a full size eyeliner in purple, a deluxe highlighter, a blending brush and a sample sand and sky cleanser. A sample size highlighter will last a long time, I've never used one up lol. Im getting a full size eyeshadow in my july bag too, not sure what else I'm going to be getting yet. So I was still happy with my glam bag and my glam bag plus

$15 for samples is ridiculous. $10 was a great deal. $12 wasn't bad, but $15 is not worth is at all. I'm glad I canceled several months ago. My last bag will be in September. I will say I've gotten 2 full sized pallets in my last 2 bags, but I just have too much stuff anymore. I canceled my FFF box too. Just keeping my Margot Elana box for now.
I totally agree with you they need to get it together ❤️ also I got the sunscreen and I only got 1 so ya that's the packing team making costly mistakes that we are all paying for!!

The glam bag is now $17 with tax and the plus is like $33 with tax. The shipping is absolutely horrible and now the handling fees and when they are not even being handled better and they are taking so much longer. Im honestly disgusted with the company and if it was not for X.. would cancel everything. I have already canceled like literally 5 accounts. And they have ruined boxy. It's so sad. I am absolutely canceling my glam bag. It's not worth it when I 1st started out it was $10 flat they did not charge me tax and then they started charging the tax so it was $11 then they raised the price to $12 so it was $13 with tax a little over and now they did the handling fee so it's going to be $17 that is way too much most of the time I do not even like what's in there and it's not worth it for travel size products I think that bag is going to flop and so many people are going to cancel. Oh my gosh I just realized this is your June bag and you are filming at July 1st. Did you just receive it? I got the same bag as you. Wow 2 items from boxy for your plus? I don't think that's fair they definitely know that many of their subscribers get all subscriptions to both so it's just like a repeat and it's not with good products either I mean maybe they are OK sometimes but not the best. That is definitely not their apology from last month I can tell you that much I had an error on my on my glandbag where they sent me 2 products of the same product but forgot my able skin care and had to send it to me. There are nonstop mistakes and they definitely pay for those but they never make the corrections they need to so if they could figure that out maybe they wouldn't have to keep raising the prices and not taking care of their customers with their own mistakes they need to own that. Yes you are right the warehouse team does mean to get it together because there are mistakes I'm not even joking I think I have had a mistake every single month for the past like 6 months it's been really bad and I dread getting ahold of them. I am so worried about choice tomorrow that will determine a lot for me. I do not want to give up my X because it is my favorite that I've ever had but I can't suck it up if I'm not happy.
Go on and pick your choices it let me pick at 730 am eastern this morning..I’m canceling probably both for August definitely the glam bag ..the plus had some ok choices and a few of things I wanted to pick but picked other things I was hoping would be in add ons and they wasn’t some was but not all

I just received one of my plus bags and it was missing the actual bag.. it was sent in a brown box because of my add ons. . I'm not joking every single month it's something new.. I know I'm not the only person this happens to so they had to raise the prices because they make careless mistakes left and right. I mean I can go on and on and on with the mistakes. I actually don't get those mistakes with boxy, never have.

They have gave me wrong bag or no bag at all and every month they leave something out then send the wrong thing and just today I had to call because they sent me wrong shade of concealer told me they sold out but it’s for sale right now on their site 🤦🏽♀️ they refunded me and gave points so that’s exactly why they have to raise prices to cover the cost of all their mistakes !!

I switched from the regular Glam Bag to the Glam Bag Plus, because it’s a much better deal w/ full size products and we get to choose 3 of 5 of them.

My Glam bag ends in January and I will not be keeping it after that. $15 is ridiculous for sample sizes. We are Glam Bag twins! I literally have 4 Ciate London dewy skin primers and I hate it, so I have to keep finding new homes for them and I'm over it.

That frank body coffee cup lotion we got in the X a couple months ago …my bags are ok for July but I still have to cancel the glam bag cause that’s just to much even with them offering a full size palette ..they have messed up my plus bags for the last 3 months ..one month I only got 2 products and they left 3 out 🤦🏽♀️ then they left out 2 things last month then when they sent them to me they wasn’t the same they was “comparable” products it I wanted the ones I pick ! I really hope they don’t mess up my July bag …I got the sunscreen and you’re suppose to get just one so you hit the jackpot I love that sunscreen !

The GB is the one I want to keep. I very much prefer the deluxe sample size makeup because I have so many that I will never be able to finish a full size product, but I do find myself finishing the deluxe size samples. For awhile now I’ve been thinking I will start buying the mini size products instead and also I wish that makeup or eyeshadow palettes came in a mini size that included all colors of the full. I would start buying more because I’m getting tired of never finishing a palette I want to see my 💰💰💰being used completely.
I think June was my last one. I paused July, but I'm just realizing that I'm paying 15 a month for little ity bity samples I'm pretty much done.

I keep getting the regular glam bag and pausing my plus because I thought the reg was a good value for me. I also like getting full size products in the GB including brushes. In the plus, I get a lot of full size products I don’t use. The thing I like most about Ipsy and Boxy was the sales. For example, I got a Tatcha primer for $18. I canceled Boxy over a year ago because they never match my profile especially for complexion products. Ipsy does a really good job giving me the correct shades. But I’m pissed that the price keeps sneaking up. I skipped July despite 3 full size palettes in choice. I think I’ll be canceling altogether soon.
I'm so jellin. I have yet to get a Tatcha product in any of my boxes. 😔 😛 Thank you for sharing. I've been on the fence about canceling Glam Bag, too because I'm tired of all of the samples. I've already canceled LookFantastic and Glossybox. It's gotten to the point that I use their awesome boxes to store the samples they give me in. Lol! This price hike might just be the dagger 🗡 for Glam Bag.
I’ve been getting IPSY glam bag for over a year and the main thing I would like to see is more name brand products for an example I’ve always wanted to try Drunk Elephant and never have gotten anything by them or Charlotte Tilbury would love to try products from her. So in other words I’m rethinking IPSY. Okay please tell me the eye makeup you’re wearing whose it by and what are the shade’s because it is gorgeous!
I cancelled my glossy box because I got tired of customer service. Broken product, send a picture. Prices and subscriptions all confused! Wondering if I will ever really get the announced bag again with ipsy?
My June bag still hasn’t came. I’ve already been notified that I won’t be receiving the actual bag for June, I’ll get an old May bag (I think it said). I had canceled my membership but they sent me an email saying they’d give me another extra sample if I signed back up in June so I did. I’m canceling again. This is stupid and BS. Why would you “beg” me to sign back up but then not send me the original bag (which I wanted) and still not actually send me the bag?!?! I’ve seen other subscriptions that I rather put the $15 towards or maybe just buy myself something I know I’ll like and use.
Plus I have an add on item I wanted in the bag.
I got the sunscreen and only received one. I have had that happen were I received extra product.
I agree with you 💯 not only they have been sending me just skin care and hardly any eye shadow or make up but I’m upset because my bag is not even current they sent me a few months ago bag ! Did they run out of bags? 🤷🏼♀️ they had nice eye shadow palette when I checked all the products you think they chose one for me or they let me choose but no I got a tiny 2 color shadow that I already have! So I canceled the bag that’s it is not worth $15
I’ve seen videos where people are receiving 2 boxes. Lots of times it’s the same items. With tax it’s $17 now for the GB…it’s a little much.

I had 4 out of 5 full sized items in my glam bag this past bag. All make up. I’m 38 but my age is set at 18 since I’ve gotten so much skin care. I have always had better luck messaging any of the subscription box on Facebook or instagram.

Hi if you get boxy base you are better off cancelling plus.. lots of crossover.. I got 3 full size items in the Reg bag this month so they are definitely trying..
I already cancelled the Plus & July is my last month for the small Glam Bag. I know there was a choice for a full size palette last month & there were 3 full size palette choices in July. I picked 1 as my choice. All Indie brands, so maybe IPSY is going to start adding those & other full size items? July is my last glam bag I was annual but not sure if I will cancel in August.
My yearly glam bag expires August 1st. They never even sent me an email telling me about the price changes. The app doesn't say anything about it either. I cancelled my glam bag subscription, so July will be my last month. My glam bag plus expires 9/1/2022. We will see what happens. I do prefer the glam bag plus anyway, and have been enjoying my bags for the most part. I'm just glad I don't have to keep the glam bag to get the glam bag plus.

I did the same thing. The $2 handling fee was the final straw. I liked the products and the bags but the price is too high for samples. I subscribe to boxy and purchase from their sales.
I cancelled mine after receiving to many repeats and the price keep going up, for samples sizes I had to let it go. I do miss getting new things to try but too small and I pay in cnd dollars which is way too expensive for sample sizes.
I did enjoy the Glam bag because apart from being able to try new products at a reasonable price I used the sample/deluxe sample products for when I travel but I agree the bag price increase it is just not worth it. Although I loved Ipsy their cancellation process is a nightmare I would rather endure a root canal.

They had totally missed up my membership . Sent to the wrong address, or did nit get at all. They charge me $163.70 twice. I had one fir my self the cheaper bag, then my gradaughter had the small bag at a different address. Where it do you have an address I can sent letter? Tried in line and no help at all. I’m so over the price increase on the GB for the tiny samples. Just not worth it anymore. Plus, I get repeat items & mostly skincare or body items where is the makeup? Also, my GBP is mostly skincare which is not what I want so to save the price on the Beauty Subscription Bags is where I’m headed. I get too many repeat items between Ipsy n Boxy. Add-ons as well. I have everything already. It’s just lost the excitement for me since 2018. I also agree w/everything yr saying. The price increases r due to replacement items damaged items late shipping. I always get my bags so so late in the month sometimes not until the beginning of the month for choice day which is super frustrating. N on choice day, it seems the best items r always on one Tier that I want all 3 items. The rest I have to choose items I already have or nothing exciting. So yes, it’s lost excitement n w/price increase just not worth it anymore. I use to love GB because we got full-size samples not lately. Ty for sharing n yr opinions. Glad someone else see’s my opinion on this. N Boxy don’t even get me started. Lol 😂 Nothing is the same. Quality, brands, etc n no idk that lash serum. I cancell it and constantly pay again for it no issues cancelling it but i must say the face serums i received where actually VERY EXPENSIVE ones and i can swear by it because i had something very bad happen to my skin and i was burned all over even my face and it repaired so much and less scaring you can identify now
I canceled my glam bag due to pricing & product quality. Lately, I’ve been receiving smaller portions of items (Barbie size) for one use only. 😏
I feel like they keep shrinking too! Hardly anything is over 10ml of product. I used to think Birchbox sent small samples, but since I reactivated this year they have been double ipsy's sizes.
I cancelled my glam bag even though they offered me a renewal at $11.90/month (yearly commitment). The samples are nice, but not great and I’m not excited anymore. I’d rather spend my money somewhere else.
If you sign up for the year, you won't pay the handling fee. You'll pay 11.00 a month for the small bag.
If you pay for the entire year, can u still pause a month or two without getting charged?

I cancelled my plus last week......
I hated that GB+ bag pattern....it was ugly in person. To fix up what you get in your bags, redo your quiz results. That is what I do some months when I see becoming top heavy in a certain product. It skews the products in a different direction until it happens again. Luckily, you can redo the quiz as many times as you want. Not sure about the other boxes.

I stopped getting Ipsy a number of years back. The items were meh for me and I usually ended up giving them away. I'd rather spend the money on other bags.
I was going to cancel the regular glam bag bc I agree that $15 isn't worth it, but I got an email offering $36 off an annual membership plus a full size free gift plus 2400 points. I decided to take that offer. It works out to $12/month plus the free gift and points. I thought that was a pretty good deal. I also get the plus and the X and so far I will be keeping those too. The products have gotten better the last couple months for the regular bag, more full size options and better brands from what I've seen. I hope they keep that up. I haven't been too excited by my plus the last couple months, but we'll see how that goes. I hate those generic responses you get from Ipsy's customer service. I honestly think it's an automated response or just someone cutting and pasting half the time.
I keep trying to cancel my subscription but it just goes into “pause”. Maybe when you’re ready, you can demonstrate how to cancel an Ipsy subscription :)
Go to manage your membership. Towards the bottom (maybe middle of complete page) it will say something about help me cancel my membership. Once you go there you’ll have to look under the big box that says pause and there’s little words that say yes cancel or continue canceling. I think you do that at least twice and then you’ll get a big choice of reasons for canceling, pick one and then look under the big box I think and it will then send you an email. Go to the email and there’s on word highlighted that’s where you click to confirm cancellation. I may have that totally wrong because my memory is horrible even though I just canceled like 10 minutes ago.

I have gotten ipsy bag for about 5 months and to be honest I haven't liked alot of the products but I was trying to see if they could get it right maybe but nope not at all.I was going to cancel my subscription for this month but I didn't because there was 2 of the products I really wanted but of course I didn't and most of the other products from the glam bag x wasn't anything special to me and I absolutely hate my bags for this month they are horrible
Seems to be a common theme with Ipsy lately, they are not making people happy. I’ll probably cancel my GB when my year is up in December, I just can’t justify spending $15 on random stuff anymore.

The sample sizes are honestly one use basically and totally not worth it I’m my opinion . Also lash serums are really expensive and they stop the shedding of lashes so they do grow to full potential. They are also about $100 each so good deal there

Wow, ok no your not suppose to receive 2 of the same product, i work in an Ipsy warehouse and we can get into trouble for sending much much product or if a kit is missing a product.... Neither situation is good!!
Yes the warehouse side of the business does need work!! Ive been with my warehouse for a year in December! Ive seen ALOT in that time and not all good either!!
Im just going to say that major improvement needs to be made for our customers and our employees!!

It's so sad...the end of an era...it's still a good deal if I get a good bag. And my bags have been good especially ratio of skin care/makeup. But I'm not ok with another price increase. I'll be canceling too. And putting that money toward ⛽

I know Ipsy is all about "the bag" but I hate that part of it :/ it's just a waste of money as far as I'm concerned. I had this sub for YEARS.. like 6 years. Just checking now to see if the Plus is worth it. Your eye makeup is awesome!
If we are paying extra for handling fees then the people in the wear house should handle our products better!
This month November was awful
I have problems with ipsy customer service all of the time I still have not received my June bag which had a bunch of expensive add ons and they said I should receive it by July 11th .. OK so perfume should be sitting in a truck for over a month? It's super hot out. I have an issue almost every single time and it's always stuff that only they can fix but they have no interest in doing so. All they care about is the money they certainly do not care about their customers I have always said it I swear they have a rule that they will help subscribers 3 times and after they have helped you 3 times and we're so sweet they don't care anymore they will go above and beyond those 3 times well when you have been with them for over 6 years clearly you are going to have to reach out over 3 times. I do not reach out unless I absolutely have to because I do not want to deal with it either I have had huge huge issues the last 2 times Ipurchased mystery bags. This Iast time I purchased all 4 and as you know 2 of them are very rough ..they were all thrown in together so there were snags all over 2 of them which I purchased them for the bags .. last time I had ordered the mystery bags was before Christmas time (for Christmas) a month later I still didn't have them or shipping.. then they sent me 2 random bags that I did not order, I got ahold of customer service they did a replacement order and sent the same 2 incorrect bags again. I got ahold of them and they said they were out of stock which they literally just barely went out of stock like 7 months later.. Some of them may still be available.

I just messaged them this past week, because I hadn't received my June bag yet. I don't know if they had shipped it or not, because we couldn't track it. They told me it would arrive July 7. I told them that was not acceptable, that I shouldn't just have to accept this without them even giving me some points or something, but just got the standard apology back, saying it takes longer when you have add-ons and redeem points. Right after I contacted them the tracking showed up. And I got my bag yesterday, which was a happy surprise, until I saw that the mailing bag was open. The top flap was literally opened up. And it was the bigger bag, since I had add-ons, redeemed points, and was trying refreshments for the first time. Luckily everything was in there. I was already dreading have to contact them again for missing items.

I was not OK with that either so I'm being charged again for the following month when I haven't even received my bag for the previous month. I knew they didn't know what they were talking about because when I tracked it it had absolutely no movement for over 2 weeks. Im so glad that your package was intact though because I have had problems where they throw so many things in my bag that it ends up coming open, losing products and when your bag does get lost which has happened to me a couple times they no longer have your choice Because it took so long or actually sometimes they do have your choice but it's not in the right department so they will tell you it's out of stock and then you will see it in a sale and then they decide that they will substitute your choice with a terrible product like I have never once been excited about the product they have replaced it with.. it's always something I've already received and rated terribly or something that I have marked as rarely on my quiz. I'm sorry but if it's their mistake then they need to own that and they know what the good products are.. if something goes wrong on their end The very least they can do is make sure they are sending top shelf products in its place since you no longer get your choice.
I havent received my may or june bags yet. Shipping is horrible.
I still haven't received my June bag but I did receive an email saying that I won't get one of the June bags. I cancelled earlier in June after Ipsy choice day. They gave me 600 points but I've already cancelled and I'm not signing up again for the 600 points.
Can you use the points for the Refreshment items? I know you don't have to be an Ipsy subscriber to purchase those. Not sure how the points work. They have some nice items.

Canceling b4 Aug 1st! Not worth paying $15 for 5 trial/ 1x use products, when for $10 more you can get 5 full sized products! Makes no sense Ipsy! Still loaded w/ skincare in backups & yes, I still only have 1 face! Lol! Sorry but it's not worth my coin anymore!
