@@annehedonia156 I have similar colour eyes, and supposedly rich browns and oranges make the eyes pop the most - with that said, I never really follow that haha. I would highly recommend to start experimenting with all sorts of colours, it feels empowering to not care what others think about it :) you do what makes you feel happy, and what lets you express your creativity!

I gasped when I first saw it it's so beautiful and huge! Really pigmented. I can't really wear warm tones. Even though I can carry both gold and silver jewelry, I'm mostly cool. ❤️

Be aware they start you on a trial for refreshments and if you don’t cancel after the trial ends they keep charging you. I caught it before they even sent it out

I'm absolutely loving the purple eyeshadow on you!. I stopped getting Ipsy, it just wasn't worth it. $16+ a month for stuff I probably don't want, Sigma is having a huge sale and I got 3 9 pan palettes for thirty, free shipping. I'd rather spend my money on that. I have a hard time believing Ipsy gave all full sized items in the regular glam bag, it must be why they shorted you on the bigger box 😂 I think refreshments is Ipsy's line of razors, shave gel, body wash etc...weird they were calling the box a refreshment takeover or whatever but didn't give any of their refreshment products. Refreshments is Ipsy's own brand of shampoos, razors, deodorants, etc. I've used their hand lotion in Citrus, and it's nice. Their 5-blade razors have a "patented" design, and five blades is what you want.
They said they were changing stuff up to give us better stuff. Maybe this is the start of that, cause even if it didn’t have value, THATS A GOOD BASE BAG😵💫
It's a Refreshments take-over because they used Refreshments bags for this month instead of new Ipsy zippered bags. It's the same bag they sent me a Refreshments order in a couple of years ago. They are probably trying to use up a surplus of them to save money. Notice the little pink tag on the side of the bag has a letter R with a drink cup on it. I received the Shades by Shan Liquid Pen, but mine is Black Onyx. I would much rather have had the Sapphire like yours. And, I was supposed to get the Trifle Jelly Juice lip gloss but didn't, even though I paid for it as an add-on. :( It was one of the only products in my bag that I was looking forward to this month.
The markup on makeup has officially gotten out of hand 😅 every newly emerged makeup brand is suddenly charging items that clearly look like drug store or dollar store makeup 30$ a piece on average! No way it should be valued more than a couple of dollars even after production costs. It’s heaven for these subscription boxes though because now they can inflate the supposed “value” of the box even further instead of putting trusted brand name items in it that may actually be worth those prices.
I looked up Seraphine Botanicals and the tiny shadows are listed at 35. But what I found interesting is that they have a private label program so people can have their own *brand* made. I always think private label stuff is sketchy and very Alibaba. I'm convinced ipsy/boxy private label most of their products and slap inflated price tags on to give the box value. I unsubbed a couple years ago bc I felt I was being totally ripped off w all the never heard of brands I'd get.
The JOY I feel just scrolling through older Alexandria videos and wind up on a brand new one!!!😮 I knew it was new because of the pink/purple eyeshadow. LOL
It kinda seems like people aren't that interested in subscription boxes anymore. I know I quit them a long time ago. They were great at first, but then it was the same old thing and black eyeliners (haha) and I lost interest. I see your conspiracy theory and up you one. It's not the palettes, but the shadows that are overstock and/or lesser quality. Every one of the Ipsy and Boxy palettes have been a mishmash of previously released shades.
💯Agree with the conspiracy theory about the ND palettes! Every unboxing I saw had a broken palette, so I didn’t even attempt to buy it in add ons. It’s bad enough to get a broken product in a box, but I would have been seriously mad if I bought a broken one!! Also, I’m wondering how long it will take for them to figure out that crumpled paper won’t protect the products!!
I honestly feel that brands sell to ipsy/boxycharm their mishaps or failed products. I got a fenty bronzer last month that was so orange ya'll like that is sus.
That drawstring bag is from there refreshments line. They didn't bother getting you a new bag this month they just gave you something they had laying around. Refreshments is their own brand of products they have a separate subscription for refreshments (which is like razors and face wipes and lotions and stuff). In fact they signed me up for that without my consent at one point and I had to cancel.

I always laugh at how fast Alexandria talks. I thought I talked fast until I found her. It amazes me how many words per minute she speaks, ha ha. It’s one of the things I find so endearing about her.❤
I definitely used that Natasha Denona coupon to purchase their new Yucca palette because it was really speaking to me! It dropped it down to $50 so I thought it was more worth it 😅 My Fez palette came perfectly fine too and I’m actually excited to use those palettes together. Still weird you only got 4 items! I would’ve been a bit unhappy about that
I just cancelled my BOXYCHARM subscription this month. I had Ipsy several years ago and it was just not for me. My BOXYCHARM started to feel like Ipsy so neither are for me now.😢

Just my personal taste, but I wouldn't have even really been mad that the Natasha Denona pallette came broken... I would have been more mad that it was so ugly. Maybe they don't translate well on camera but to me that looks like banana powder, yellow, and orangey gold, and some sort of burnt orange brown with a very vivid blue. From what I can tell, not a single color I would EVER wear. 👎 That whole box was underwhelming. And the first box while the value according to them was high, I feel like there's a lot of brands that are pretty much generic mass production made-in-china stuff, but instead of just keeping them as no-name generics, theyre actually branding them now. The prices of the items are fairly premium... but I've never heard of any of them really. And if I have heard of the brand, it's only because they're found often in sub boxes. Like whatever brand charging $30-40 for an e.l.f sized 4-pan palette. 😒 Not a chance I would ever pay that.
I got my boxyIpsy 🤷♀️ my first in years . A cream blush ( i really wanted it , my choice ) , setting spray ( also choice) ,2 serums, a bachuchiol ( sp eek!) Eye cream and as a welcome gift a Dr Brandt retinol eye cream. It was fine but had it been last year, I'd be so mad . I can go a few more months with this but this wouldn't be for everyone.
The eyeshadows may not look Pigmented to YOU But if u R of light/Fair skin They R VERY Pigmented Dior makes colors like this So Asians can wear eyeshadows too
That Ahava mask is not even full size. Ipsy's boxycharm subscription is now not sending us full size items for everything now. How can they get away with claiming you get 5 full size items and they're now sending samples?
I used to get boxycharm, so I switched to ipsy when they merged. Never ever had an issue with boxycharm, but every "boxycharm" I got through ipsy had an issue. Missing items, even stuff I ordered in addition to the box. Wrong shades, etc. One month, I had one item missing, but they put in FIVE of the same eye primer. For deep skintones. I'm super white. Every time I contacted ipsy care, they said my items couldn't be replaced and gave me ipsy points instead. But the ipsy points didn't really equate to what I was missing. So yeah. I tried for three months, but decided to cancel after all that.
Those Seraphine Botanicals eyeshadows are supposed to be "fallout free"? Ha! I wore them today and it looks like I've been digging in the dirt in my sink. Nice neutral colors, but I'm not super impressed
I received the lip product you didn't get, so they will most likely be able to send you one. Regarding the Natasha Denona product, mine looked EXACTLY like yours, which means it was a production fail that they sold to Ipsy rather than toss the whole run. I find that sus.
When the merge happened. I tried it. But ultimately I got rid of it. Won’t be going back. Sadly. I loved my Boxycharm boxes. I got base and premium every month. It was my one gift to myself.

Mine sucked I don't want skin care. All I got was skin care and 1 blush. I'm not at all happy. But sadly I pay annually. So I'm getting crappy stuff.😢 it's my one treat a month and it's just sad
2nd comment- I’m sorry but Ipsy just can’t seem to get their crap together, it seems. I canceled my subscription over a year ago & have been loving the Allure box the last year instead. I enjoy more skin care, however, & that’s what the Allure box focuses on.
Try to put the highlighter before the powders, I even put the powder highlighter before the blush and after the bronzer/contour. By doing so, I control that contour and highlighter don’t mix whatsoever and is easier to place the blush. My 51 years old face really appreciate this, as I’m placing my bronzer/contouring higher than before, and if it mixes with the highlighter the grey cast is guaranteed.
I purchased my ND palette on choice day after seeing what items they picked and it not being on there. Nothing is broke on mine. Maybe they saved the unbroken ones for purchases? 🤷🏼♀️
I don't really know how someone has an Ipsy sub without knowing what Refreshments refers to. Also, Ipsy owned Boxycharm for a long time before switching it over to being just under Ipsy and not its own thing.
That brush may have natural bristles, possibly goat hair. It definitely looked like it but nowadays it can be difficult to tell visually. However, the way they flexed and the description of it 'feeling different' made me think it was goat. 🤔
Ipsy is getting ridiculous I got my box with 2 of my 3 add ons and the palette from add ons was broken and then they ALWAYS miss a product or 6 in my drop shop orders and instead of sending me a replacement or the palette that they missed they gave me $16 back. I said I don’t want a refund I want my missing palette and I want a non broken palette. Last month my box came overflowed with holes in it so I was missing like 6 products and they gave me a $7 refund per item and sent me the tiny $3.50 item I was missing. They are getting so bad.
Listen, being that there's any trace of "sea" in that gold mask, they can technically say it has gold 😂 the ocean is full of the most microscopic minerals, including gold. Some people try to get gold out of sea water. Extremely labor intensive for tiny amounts 🤷 so just go for a dip in the ocean, swimming in gold 😊👌
Conspiracy theories aside, that eyeshadow palette is NOT available on the Natasha Denona website, at least not to the UK. Also, UK law would require a replacement or refund in the event of a damaged item, soooo, who knows?!!
I looooove lipgloss with glitter😂 I don't like it when you can feel the glitter, but I love the sparkly lips 😂🤷♀️ I don't do makeup like a lot of other ppl tho, but I do love some sparkly lips🫶
So, Glossy Box is no more in the states. Jen Luvs reported about them no longer selling their subscription boxes, as of the beginning of this month, in the United States.
Hello. 😅 Every Ipsy this month watched with that Natasha Pallette - its been broken. I had first and nly broken pallette from Ipsy and they said they would credit me for it because they were out of it and were not getting more, and they have not. Then, they feature that same pallette as a choice in the following month. Why!? Sigh. The bag you received was nice, especially the liner. And yes, the liner paired with the brown shadow is a great look idea.
Hated it. I’m on my second box since the merge. I’m out so if anyone knows of a subscription that is more like the original boxy charm, let me know. I’ve never been impressed with Ipsy.
How did I just find this channel? Also like why do they keep trying to mash their branding up lol as a graphic designer hat is super frustrating and they should just have one site. If you want refreshments and toiletries you should be able to hone in on that rather than 5 random products that don't even match your skin tone lol or don't need/want. You have to watch Ipsy if you cancelled any of the subscriptions. I cancelled last year but still get emails. Got one in May that said look what we picked for you. I looked. Wasn’t interested. The catch was that opening the link to see what Ipsy picked for me automatically restarted my subscription. I didn’t see that message but found the charge on my cc. I told them I did not start my sub again and I personally feel what they did was fraud. Money returned the same day I spoke with them but basic customer service said it might be a month before the refund went thru.

The markup on makeup has officially gotten out of hand 😅 every newly emerged makeup brand is suddenly charging items that clearly look like drug store or dollar store makeup 30$ a piece on average! No way it should be valued more than a couple of dollars even after production costs. It’s heaven for these subscription boxes though because now they can inflate the supposed “value” of the box even further instead of putting trusted brand name items in it that may actually be worth those prices.

I looked up Seraphine Botanicals and the tiny shadows are listed at 35. But what I found interesting is that they have a private label program so people can have their own *brand* made. I always think private label stuff is sketchy and very Alibaba. I'm convinced ipsy/boxy private label most of their products and slap inflated price tags on to give the box value. I unsubbed a couple years ago bc I felt I was being totally ripped off w all the never heard of brands I'd get.

It kinda seems like people aren't that interested in subscription boxes anymore. I know I quit them a long time ago. They were great at first, but then it was the same old thing and black eyeliners (haha) and I lost interest. Wish you had looked up that cheap eyeshadow and that cheap brush, cause I wouldn't pay those prices in store. I see your conspiracy theory and up you one. It's not the palettes, but the shadows that are overstock and/or lesser quality. Every one of the Ipsy and Boxy palettes have been a mishmash of previously released shades.

💯Agree with the conspiracy theory about the ND palettes! Every unboxing I saw had a broken palette, so I didn’t even attempt to buy it in add ons. It’s bad enough to get a broken product in a box, but I would have been seriously mad if I bought a broken one!!

That drawstring bag is from there refreshments line. They didn't bother getting you a new bag this month they just gave you something they had laying around. Refreshments is their own brand of products they have a separate subscription for refreshments (which is like razors and face wipes and lotions and stuff). In fact they signed me up for that without my consent at one point and I had to cancel.
Loving the blue eyeliner. I've used a shade pretty close to that for years. Does look super pretty with brown/beige shadows

I definitely used that Natasha Denona coupon to purchase their new Yucca palette because it was really speaking to me! It dropped it down to $50 so I thought it was more worth it 😅 My Fez palette came perfectly fine too and I’m actually excited to use those palettes together. Still weird you only got 4 items! I would’ve been a bit unhappy about that

I just cancelled my BOXYCHARM subscription this month. I had Ipsy several years ago and it was just not for me. My BOXYCHARM started to feel like Ipsy so neither are for me now.😢

Just my personal taste, but I wouldn't have even really been mad that the Natasha Denona pallette came broken... I would have been more mad that it was so ugly. Maybe they don't translate well on camera but to me that looks like banana powder, yellow, and orangey gold, and some sort of burnt orange brown with a very vivid blue. From what I can tell, not a single color I would EVER wear. 👎 That whole box was underwhelming.
And the first box while the value according to them was high, I feel like there's a lot of brands that are pretty much generic mass production made-in-china stuff, but instead of just keeping them as no-name generics, theyre actually branding them now.
The prices of the items are fairly premium... but I've never heard of any of them really. And if I have heard of the brand, it's only because they're found often in sub boxes. Like whatever brand charging $30-40 for an e.l.f sized 4-pan palette. 😒 Not a chance I would ever pay that.
I got my boxyIpsy 🤷♀️ my first in years . A cream blush ( i really wanted it , my choice ) , setting spray ( also choice) ,2 serums, a bachuchiol ( sp eek!) Eye cream and as a welcome gift a Dr Brandt retinol eye cream. It was fine but had it been last year, I'd be so mad . I can go a few more months with this but this wouldn't be for everyone.

I used to get boxycharm, so I switched to ipsy when they merged. Never ever had an issue with boxycharm, but every "boxycharm" I got through ipsy had an issue. Missing items, even stuff I ordered in addition to the box. Wrong shades, etc. One month, I had one item missing, but they put in FIVE of the same eye primer. For deep skintones. I'm super white. Every time I contacted ipsy care, they said my items couldn't be replaced and gave me ipsy points instead. But the ipsy points didn't really equate to what I was missing. So yeah. I tried for three months, but decided to cancel after all that.
Those Seraphine Botanicals eyeshadows are supposed to be "fallout free"? Ha! I wore them today and it looks like I've been digging in the dirt in my sink. Nice neutral colors, but I'm not super impressed
I received the lip product you didn't get, so they will most likely be able to send you one. Regarding the Natasha Denona product, mine looked EXACTLY like yours, which means it was a production fail that they sold to Ipsy rather than toss the whole run. I find that sus.
When the merge happened. I tried it. But ultimately I got rid of it. Won’t be going back. Sadly. I loved my Boxycharm boxes. I got base and premium every month. It was my one gift to myself.

Mine sucked I don't want skin care. All I got was skin care and 1 blush. I'm not at all happy. But sadly I pay annually. So I'm getting crappy stuff.😢 it's my one treat a month and it's just sad
2nd comment- I’m sorry but Ipsy just can’t seem to get their crap together, it seems. I canceled my subscription over a year ago & have been loving the Allure box the last year instead. I enjoy more skin care, however, & that’s what the Allure box focuses on.
Try to put the highlighter before the powders, I even put the powder highlighter before the blush and after the bronzer/contour. By doing so, I control that contour and highlighter don’t mix whatsoever and is easier to place the blush. My 51 years old face really appreciate this, as I’m placing my bronzer/contouring higher than before, and if it mixes with the highlighter the grey cast is guaranteed.
I purchased my ND palette on choice day after seeing what items they picked and it not being on there. Nothing is broke on mine. Maybe they saved the unbroken ones for purchases? 🤷🏼♀️
I think the reason for the first small 4 pan pallet is because its Talc free... I've seen some SUPER expensive talc free pallets out there 😬
I don't really know how someone has an Ipsy sub without knowing what Refreshments refers to. Also, Ipsy owned Boxycharm for a long time before switching it over to being just under Ipsy and not its own thing.
That brush may have natural bristles, possibly goat hair. It definitely looked like it but nowadays it can be difficult to tell visually. However, the way they flexed and the description of it 'feeling different' made me think it was goat. 🤔
Ipsy is getting ridiculous I got my box with 2 of my 3 add ons and the palette from add ons was broken and then they ALWAYS miss a product or 6 in my drop shop orders and instead of sending me a replacement or the palette that they missed they gave me $16 back. I said I don’t want a refund I want my missing palette and I want a non broken palette. Last month my box came overflowed with holes in it so I was missing like 6 products and they gave me a $7 refund per item and sent me the tiny $3.50 item I was missing. They are getting so bad.
Listen, being that there's any trace of "sea" in that gold mask, they can technically say it has gold 😂 the ocean is full of the most microscopic minerals, including gold. Some people try to get gold out of sea water. Extremely labor intensive for tiny amounts 🤷 so just go for a dip in the ocean, swimming in gold 😊👌
Conspiracy theories aside, that eyeshadow palette is NOT available on the Natasha Denona website, at least not to the UK. Also, UK law would require a replacement or refund in the event of a damaged item, soooo, who knows?!!

Weird, never got an email and mine came with 3 pans broken. However I was super disappointed with ipsy so I canceled it 🤷♀️

Hello. 😅 Every Ipsy this month watched with that Natasha Pallette - its been broken. I had first and nly broken pallette from Ipsy and they said they would credit me for it because they were out of it and were not getting more, and they have not. Then, they feature that same pallette as a choice in the following month. Why!? Sigh. The bag you received was nice, especially the liner. And yes, the liner paired with the brown shadow is a great look idea.
Hated it. I’m on my second box since the merge. I’m out so if anyone knows of a subscription that is more like the original boxy charm, let me know. I’ve never been impressed with Ipsy.

How did I just find this channel? Also like why do they keep trying to mash their branding up lol as a graphic designer hat is super frustrating and they should just have one site. If you want refreshments and toiletries you should be able to hone in on that rather than 5 random products that don't even match your skin tone lol or don't need/want. You have to watch Ipsy if you cancelled any of the subscriptions. I cancelled last year but still get emails. Got one in May that said look what we picked for you. I looked. Wasn’t interested. The catch was that opening the link to see what Ipsy picked for me automatically restarted my subscription. I didn’t see that message but found the charge on my cc. I told them I did not start my sub again and I personally feel what they did was fraud. Money returned the same day I spoke with them but basic customer service said it might be a month before the refund went thru.

wait.. i’m really confused can someone please explain what happened with boxy/ipsy. i was subscribed to 2 boxy levels maybe and stopped about a year ago and im looking to get back into it. my questions are is boxy charm no more? what happened to the different box level options? is the value still the same? or better or worse? do you still have access to buy premium products at a discount like you could through boxy? i used to be able to purchase elemis products separately but still at a discount through boxy before. is it still worth the out of pocket costs after the merger?
