I also have the s1000xr tuned and that mf ain’t no joke. I couldn’t imagine 191 to the wheel. Sounds like an angry bastard, looks great and I can ride it literally all day.

sure it is a bit slower but you can do more things for longer and further with the XR.

That bike looks faster than my RS, but I haven’t pushed it to its limits yet or maxed out the speedometer.
Did however, just change out the tires for Continental sport attack four

My 2015 s1000xr is as fast as my brothers 2005 r1 upto 100mph purely down the heavy front end of the bmw and the r1 constantly wanting to lift the front wheel in 1st and 2nd.
This looks to be the case here also.

Aerodynamics will always slow down bikes like the m1000xr, they're taller and create more drag......great bike all round though 👍🏻

I think we mainly learned a same-engine modded bike can beat a stock one. Next: Rider weights? The XR guys not small..... First race with switched riders was the "street racer fly by". R finally goes round finally at 158+. Looking forward to the Ducat RS vs XR showdown.

I sat on a ‘23 XR and the seat was awful. It cupped in the middle by design but then the edges dig into your legs when you’re feet are down. Why don’t more people take issue with this??

No standard luggage on MXR. Just get a s1000xr and fully tuned it should walk a RS easy.

Yeah, cause of different weight and different aerodinamic drag. m1000RR Is lighter, smaller, louder, more aerodinamic and with longer gearbox for higher final speed. This is why at the start the difference between those 2 are little, and after passing 100 mph M1000RR gapped the XR by far

I am SURE, that XR is BONE STOCK. ib's RR is FAR from bone stock. That's the difference in this exercise. You can imagine & EXPECT a "different" outcome when that XR gets the full "treatment" 🦾🦾🦾🦾.

It isn't limited. The RR and XR share the same engine, but the XR is about 25 kgs heavier than the RR that is why the RR will always win
