Fantastic, Dr. Brown was there when my mom and Auntie were around that time. Sir, please remain longer than 3-4 years....nothing can be built and relationships cannot be nurtured with all these job hoppers using my beloved Tuskegee (4th gen grad) as a spring board to get hired by PWIs. For decades we had only 4-5 presidents because they each remained for 15 or more years, in which time the students are so very well groomed and supported by the leadership. You have always been a man of faith and with this faith and divine guidance, a stronger more vibrant Tuskegee University will emerge. Congratulations Dr. Mark Brown! Words can't begin to express how proud I am of you! The last time we spoke was at my brother's memorial (2017) which you so graciously took the time to attend. That meant the world to me and my family. Being an Alpha Sweetheart during the time you pledged at TU was one of the best times of my life! I know that you will be great as TU's 10th president! Long live "Mother Tuskegee!"
I am loving Dr. Brown’s energy. We were in the band together and who would have ever known that my classmate would get to lead Tuskegee University. My grandmother graduated from Tuskegee in 1928 and loved it to the day she died. I am excited and I will do all that I can to help Dr. Brown do great things for Tuskegee. Dr. P. Class of 1986.
