Later, they abandoned the child on a public ground in Kollam (kerala) after the incident gained widespread attention. Padmakumar ( Anupama pathman's father ), who had various businesses , was reportedly in debt of Rs 5 crore. He required Rs 10 lakh urgently to avoid some bank attachment proceedings.
