Thank you for watching!
Nice work bro. Just don't ever trust just a jack to keep your truck up. Use jack stands every time
he wasn't using the jack to hold the truck up
you can see he easily fits under the truck without stands cuz its lifted
5:26 jack stands
I've never used jack stands yet lmaoooo been sum years, but I agree depending on repair needed
Make sure you guys check and tighten the bolts on the little motor they loosen with the vibration !!!!
Nice video. Has it lasted? It's now November 2021. Wondering if you would recommend them?
Awesome video thanks just ordered myn how's yours holding up? Still
gaht damn that truck sounds good
Did you put it before the resonator or after?
Hey man! Does it still work? I mean do you have any issues with that? how is it after 2 years of usage?
Thanks very much
Hey, I just watched your video and was wondering if you had any problems with it
Am watching bro
Have it laying around for my E55 which is still silent can't find c63 mufflers right away thinking about putting this on bcse of the little rattle when closed
Thanks for this video I was just wondering if it came with clamps because I’m trying to buy a similar one for a Beamer and I would have to cut off because it doesn’t have clamps on the Beamer
StrawberrySEAN you have to buy the exhaust clamps at a local automotive store like autozone , measure your exhaust before buy , you can buy these electric valves from 3”-2.5” if your exhaust is like smaller you can get adaptor at the storage as well
Can you wire it directly to the battery?
After 3 years , how's it holding?
what brand is that bro i want to put one on my truck too thanks in advance
Unfortunately I could not find the valve on Ebay, is there any other source?
That sounds awesome, an pretty good how-to. Thanks man. One question do you have to re-tune your engine when installed?
If it’s after the O2 sensors you don’t have to
Where can i find this version exhaust that connected with mp3 ? , because other versions are more complicated this is simple and i want this
Is the electronic valves still working
Hello, is motor waterproof??
What size clamps did you use for it I want to do this to my Silverado I already have the valve coming in but I know the stock piping is 2.75” and the valve is 3” does a regular 3” clamp work fine like almost no leak noticeable in the cab?
gerardo madera yes I did use 3” exhaust clamps from autozone and I can’t notice any leaks , I have it open all the time now because it sounds good and only close it when I travel lol
Family Garage Performance thanks I’ll just do that then how loud is it over stock?
gerardo madera it’s not crazy loud because you still have the Catalytic converter’s before the Valve but it will sounds just like a muffler delete
Thank you very nice explanation :) .. I want to ask you about wheels I wish I could find similar ones with the same width! Where do I find a user in the same way?
Can it be installed for the Suburban 2007 and Sierra 2014, or do the sizes vary?
3zyiz yeah I would be happy to help , do you have an Instagram? Maybe you can private message me on there and I can give you all the info
@@christopherfernandez7716 Thanks for your cooperation, brother .. Yes, this is my Instagram: 3zyiz_gm
3zyiz sounds good and no problem
Current update on this?(any rattling or valve leak) I just got these electric cut outs for Christmas lol. Is there another way to source for power in place of the cig plug?
wambam I notice you can kinda hear a leak but that’s only if your like under the truck 1 foot away but no rattling and I’m sure there’s other ways to plug it somewhere else , just find a negative and positive
U could get a female cig and wire it into the fuse box and hide it away
We need an update video!
My exact exhaust just came in!! One question does the control need batteries and if it does what type?
Yes. It will.
12v from your car :) + and - thats it
The Clamp was included in the box ? Thanks 4 u video
Nah you have to buy them separately he said you can get them at autozone
@@zacksmith5332 Thanks
I wanted to get this for my Lancer but I was wondering how it held up overtime and if the valve leaked at all when it was closed
FGxS you can go to your local autozone or any other automotive store and get there best exhaust clamps and you should be good, or get it welded at a shop, mine is still on exhaust clamps and haven’t heard any exhaust leak yet, it’s been a little over 2 months ever since I did the install.
FamilyGaragePerformance in the video you can see water coming out from around your exhaust clamps indicating a leak because the “I” section of the clamp is upside down. Try flipping that piece over so the curved side is touching the exhaust pipe not the flat side.
Gavin Shah thank you for the advice , I still have a lot to learn and ppl like you are helpful.
the valve may leak over time because of carbon build up so use brake cleaner on the valve every couple of months!
Over a year later... How are they working for you? I bought 2 of the same one and they lasted about 3 weeks before the wires stopped sending signal
I still have the same one , just make sure where you install the little box that looks like an amp in a good spot , if you just have it hanging or moving around it can stop working , you can always buy a new box with controller for $25 or contact the seller and they send you a new one for free
@@christopherfernandez7716 YEAH THE BOX STILL WORKS. BUT I CAN ONLY GET THE MOTOR TO TURN IF I HAVE IT DIRECTLY PLUGGED INTO THE BOX, THE EXTENSION WIRES DONT ACTIVATE THE MOTOR ANYMORE, THE MOTORS WORK JUST FINE WHEN I TAKE THEM OFF AND PLUG THEM IN, WHEN I USE THE LONG WIRES THE BOX JUST CLICKS...IDK
@@thehiphopgiftshop email the company that you bought it from , they should send you a new controller with box , maybe there’s a bad wireless connection or something idk
Why did you not install it pre cat? I'm not bashing. Just future recommendation. You should not cut the exhaust the same length as the pipe going on. Should be a slip on setup with clamps. If the cutout is 11" your cut in the oem pipe should have been 9" or smaller. Unless welded on. And if the stock exhaust is 2.75" should make sure to buy a 3" pipe. This helps prevent leaks. You setup will have problems in the near future if not already. Highly recommend getting it welded
Twisted D thanks for your advice , it’s been over a year and daily drive it and no issues yet but thank you
U seem knowledgeable on this topic what size pipe should I get for a 2.5 inch exhaust and how much should I cut off, sorry I’m asking someone in the UA-cam comments but I have to no clue where to find this type of info
Do you feel more power when it's open, because the isn't any restrictions now
redbaron2448 I don’t get your point, why would I feel more power if it only changes the sounds ?
@@christopherfernandez7716 Well if installed correctly, before any resonator and Catalytic pipe you gain HP
redbaron2448 well don’t really care about HP on my truck , it’s just my daily but thanks I have a race car for HP.
Great video, the leak when the cutout is closed, can you hear it when standing beside the truck ?
Streetzlegend you can hear a small leak of your really close like on the video but as soon you get up from under the truck you can’t hear anything
Hey brother. I know this been out a while but by chance did you install the cut out backwards. The open end should face the rear of the vehicle.sounds great! Keep wrenching and learning.love the family in the video!
I thought the way 😅
It is towards the rear lol
It is facing the rear!!!!
I wanted to ask does it do any damage to the car in the long run?
No
What if your trying to have dual exhaust system with that cut out
get 2 of them and install on each pipe
Good video! How is the electric motors holding up? Remote issues or anything?
Boy Middle Cup Thank you! and It’s been a little over a month now and till this day no issues at all.
How much jail time this gets you in CA?
Question are these cutouts or any electric cut out waterproof
Water resistant
wait how much was this
How's the plastic? Any sign of ''melted'' material? Is everything good? :D
Paxiz' everything it is still good and no sign of anything melting 👍😊
What kind of rims do you have?
Vision rockers
Link doesn't work anymore. Can you send it here?
Thru the door lmao. Go thru under ur hood straight to ur fuse box to an ignition switch.
MrCokemaster05 lmao yup thru the door , that’s where I wanted it to be but thanks for your opinion
All good man. We all gotta Learn. I ain’t perfect, So the next kid reading this will do it right.
Actually you don't go through the engine compartment either. There are access plugs under the seat. Drill a hole in one of those then run it under your seat and inside.. I would direct wire the 12v to the fuse panel inside, with fuse taps.
@@damianlambright6986 how?
@@redbaron2448 which part?
When you burn out what gears did you put it I can’t seem to do it on mine o have the same truck 2^ or 4down or 4up
Jerry Carrillo I had it on 2
Bueno sumo video tienes el número de parte por a en Amazon
What side pipe dia. Did you order
SITTINlow Falcon it’s a 4.5” by 14” long bully exhaust tip , I got it at autozone
SITTINlow Falcon it’s also universal fit from exhaust 2.75 - 3.5
@@christopherfernandez7716 ahh okay bro. Just bought the same one . going to be installing it on my suburban.
SITTINlow Falcon awesome , it’ll look great
Keeps the cops away
Valdemar Perez III yes you are right.
now thats how a truck suppose to sound.. Why not drill a hole in the floor, and silicon it vs feeding it through the door
Do they still work ??
Yes , it’s been a while and still works every time
Is it still Working ma dude. Love ur Channel btw
Jimmie Åkesson yes it still works and thank you! I will continue making more videos soon
Family Garage Performance it isnt water proof... so how ?
Mikkel 215 it is 100% water proof , I have the same cutout on my Jeep and I take it off-road and go under water and works just fine.
Mikkel 215 sometimes they can take 1-2 weeks
Bro el link no funciona
“You can tell a difference” you recorded right next to the damn cutout, we couldn’t tell a difference from there. You need to open and close it from a distance so we can tell the difference man!
Didn’t see any jack stands and I started sweating
Go back to 5:25 and you can see the jack stand on the left corner of the screen , so feel free to dry your sweat lol
Any updates ???
Luis Hernandez I will come up with some updates , sorry for a long wait but I’ll message you when I come up with the updates
Family Garage Performance does anything happen in the winter time with them?
Dominick Rivera no nothing happen during winter, I live in Michigan and winter here can get pretty bad and so far so good
Ugly wiring passage.... you can do better
Quebec X Riding Yes the wiring is not the best but it’s just a fast easy way that anyone can do, still have it that way and haven’t had any issues yet
4:55 Mamma mamma lmao
Would a fit a dual exhaust on my 2007 tahoe
Yes
You shouldn’t run that wire dude.😂
Wiring is a little sloppy
You’ll be lucky if that “cutout” doesn’t blow apart in a year. With the valve on the actual end of the cutout pipe instead of the main pipe you aren’t rerouting the exhaust away from the mufflers. You are restricting the exhaust which leads to back pressure and eventually a blow out. Please as a word of advice please buy a real one not a cheap pos that can cause damage or potentially Pierce your gas tank and cause thousands in repairs.
GMG YT this is the dumbest comment I’ve had so far and it’s been way pass a year, you sounds like you know what your saying but in reality your just making stuff up, looks like you play to much of the video game gta5
How is it restricting when it's literally becoming an exhaust itself when open and gases flow through the stock exhaust when closed?
You're pretty "special" dude. You showed just how little you know.. stay on gaming and away from real cars.. let the men do men things and you boys do boy things..
Already see a leak, that’s why cheap is the worst thing you can do
TexasMike the only cheap thing here is my work, but if you don’t want any leak what’s so ever , just weld or get better claps , don’t let the small leak call everything else cheap, the leak is my Fault.
Those clamps 👎
Am watching bro
