You did an excellent job of describing the differences, I like your enthusiasm for your job. I recently saw a brand new case I H McDon switched into transport mode, you’re right it is a lot of extra work versus a trailer. I just shook my head when I watched him do all that work. Do you go through all the bearings on your combine and check each one with a stethoscope? The off-season is the time to replace bearings. When I was a kid, we had a Massey Harris, PT 60 combine. When I was about 10 years old, having combined no more than 1000 acres in that time, we replace the cylinder bearings in the off-season. I remember my dad replacing some other bearings on the green elevators on the combine in the off-season. I do not remember ever having a breakdown during harvest.
Thanks for the video, really appreciate the effort you go to with editing/music. Keep us updated in your off season. I am sitting up on the hillside watching all the farmers cut their hay 😊
Good to hear from you in the off season! Congrats on the addition to your fleet and expansion of 4G Harvesting! That will change the dynamics of your operation. Moving day will require another truck on the return trip, and increasing your harvest capacity by 33% is going to put more pressure on your grain hauling crew. And Cody is going have to up his game too. And he's already pretty awsome! Hard to get better when you're that good. You'll need more fuel capacity in your fuel wagon. And it will add a whole new dimension to the "light game"! Can't wait to see your videos with three combines in them! Are you maybe gonna fit Tessa into the operation somewhere? I'm surprised the previous owner hadn't already moved that rear axle to those lower holes to raise up the rear of the combine. You are going to like that dual knife drive...... You all have a great Christmas down there in Texas!
Congratulations on the expansion and continuing success of your family's business. Know it's a demanding endeavor. First harvest i went on, I drove a MF Super-92.
Woo Hoo. Congratulations on the new combine Hayden. I understand why you are excited. I'm looking forward to the 2025 harvest season already ♥️ can't wait for the first light contest! Thank you Hayden for making the video ❤ - Hope
Every single year is different in the custom harvesting world. Having 3 combines opens more doors for us and we hope to execute that. As of right now fall wise we would only run two combines because there is no way anything could keep up with us… heck with 2 combines we were sitting. But for the wheat run we are just about maxed out acre wise for 2 combines and we would love to expand and grow the business acre wise now that we have 3 :)
Question, are you going to get on another semi truck to haul all this equipment? Or are you going to have to make three trips between major moves? What are you going to need a second grain court? Which would require a second tractor!
thought it was Mom's, Hayden's and Tessa's // simple is ALWAYS good //looking forward to the header comparison /// also VERY much looking forward to your season ending statistical report out on the year
#3 "Grand Children Wanted!" Smart to let someone else pray for the depreciation. The trick is to buy from someone who takes care of their equipment. I did that with cars till I bought new. Wasn't expecting new equipment in this video. I thought you'd be out in the field. How much longer before milo is ready for harvest?
Congrats on the new combine! It's a beautiful machine! Always love the JD green & yellow. You could name the combines, "The Jeff", "The Shana", & "The Hayden". You know, like Trump hotels.😅 I can tell you're excited. Y'all may have to buy a 4th combine, "The Tessa". By the way, nice haircut, Hayden.😉
We have ran dual knife drive in the past before and I think we liked them but sometimes it would leave a ribbon in the middle of the head if the knives were out of timed…. Idk, with that and then all the overlap gear we had to carry I think we just went to single knife. But I’m excited to run them side by side next year and share with y’all our experience with them!
Definitely 40ft is the max you can go with a single knife unless they use a different material for the bar and have a bigger drive mechanism so it doesn’t plug haha!
Great video Hayden, well pumped for you on getting the new machine, after the earlyish finish to your fall harvest this year do you have new contracts coming for next years harvest to justify the additional combine?.
Well my first prediction came true, wondering if my second one will to. Remember, concerning Tessa. Hope you and family have a merry Christmas. Anxious to see all the combines next spring. Does adding your dad as a drver mean he will get a camera to share content?
Getting some thing new to you (even if it used) is all ways exciting. This machine looks great. I have a ? that I wanted to ask many videos ago but I did not know if it was appropriate. How much or what is the going price that you are paid per acre or is it by the hour?
Should keep up in Germany we ran three on one chaser bin granted you only get to dump each combine once before needing to unload the chaser this is in wheat
Nope, we will just bring two trucks back rather than one. One being bobtail and the other having an empty combine trailer and most likely will have the combine loaded with the header pulling behind the combine trailer. Although plans can change before it’s all said and done but that’s kinda the plan right now lol
@ looking forward to seeing next year’s move videos. Those are my favorites. Like all the videos too. Thank you and have great holiday season and off season.
I am still interested in how many hours you put on the 2 Machines this season? If I missed it in an earlier video, my apologies. Nice combine you have and all 3 being S770, spare parts should interchange on all three. Have a merry Christmas and keep the videos coming.
I enjoy your channel Don't understand why custom guys and farmers still buy green machines with the old technology on them compared to other brands. My 10 year old Case has half the belts and chains your brand new machine does. CVT and shaft driven, and better price. Still enjoy your channel looking forward to seeing how it all works for you next year.
JohnDeere software wise by far has the best technology. Don’t get me wrong Case, New Holland, or even Fendt may make a great combine as well but “technology” wise I would say JohnDeere is by far surpassed everyone on the chart haha. Thank you for tuning in!
TESSAS combine… just saying…. The girls may show you up, may have to step up your game Hayden. Great opportunity to get a third combine. Good luck with it. Stay safe and happy holidays just make sure and take care is Tessa and the fur angels💙💙❤️🎄🎄
Does ur parents have a house on that property and do u live in ur RV year around .and is it family land from the past like ur grandparents or did ur parents purchase it.
@druewilson1079 ….we do not live on this property. We have a home closer to town. This is just our shop. We park our campers at the shop because we have full RV hookups there. The house you see in the background has no one living in it.
What a neat way to welcome Tessa to the family with her very own combine.

That’s real old school 92 Super. So are you going to invest in another Semi also.
You had your hair cut! Congrats on new combine for the family. Merry Christmas to all
Gotta get the “after harvest trim” lol
Nice hair cut, looks good. Congratulation on the new 2 you combine.!!
Woo Hoo. Congratulations on the new combine Hayden. I understand why you are excited. I'm looking forward to the 2025 harvest season already ♥️ can't wait for the first light contest! Thank you Hayden for making the video ❤ - Hope
Oh, it’s so on!
@HaydenOnHarvest my money is on you 👍
So you came home sooner than expected those were your words how can you justify another machine?

Wow congrats on the newer combine! Looking forward to seeing it in operation next year
Congrats on the new machine and expansion. Been gone for a while, good to be back watching. John T.
Congratulations on the new combine ! Great to see that Your Family business is growing. Waiting to see the videos that will be coming next harvest.
Congratulations on the growth of your family business!
Congratulations on growing your family operation
Great video Hayden, nice to see a nother combine .🤩👍👍
Great video Hayden

Up to the next saison.
Greetings from the Neterlands. 🇳🇱
Marc. 🤠
Congratulations
Congratulations!
Si muchas felisidades mucha suerte
Congrats, and best of luck and continued success with #3 🙂
I think a good name for your third combine would be: Trinity
For the second combine: Secundo and for the first Numero Uno.
So, another tractor and trailer too. Big Time. Woo Hoo 👍👍👍👍
I like duel knife or sickle drive. I also approve of the move to duels. John T.
The edits go crazy!
Super Cool 😎 🚜🚜🇨🇱🇺🇲🙏
Blessings from South Texas 🙏
Duels are king with the fwd
thought it was Mom's, Hayden's and Tessa's // simple is ALWAYS good //looking forward to the header comparison /// also VERY much looking forward to your season ending statistical report out on the year
Looks. Thought you might get a S7 800. You,ll need a bigger grain cart so Cody can keep up.
Love that Pete!
Be unique! Call it #4! Or C!
Duals are probably a pain for a custom cutter for hauling all the time but they ride so much better in the field.
I agree!
I was expecting to hear Tessa was going to drive the new combine
Fairly certain that the built in header transport is only for low speed local transport.
After running a dual knife drive you’ll wish they were all dual drive- no more broken sickle bars
Yep!!!!!! A 40 foot single bar is to much.

Larry, Moe & Curly. Alvin, Simon & Theodore. Tom, Dick, & Larry...
Do you need another truck and trailer to haul the new combine or more road trips.
Great video Hayden, well pumped for you on getting the new machine, after the earlyish finish to your fall harvest this year do you have new contracts coming for next years harvest to justify the additional combine?.
Congratulations! John is a good name.
Maybe John 1, John 2, and John 3. Spelt 4.
Larry, Moe, and curly
Just call it Also moms combine as she’ll be in it as soon as hers breaks 😂
Just name them all moms combine 😂😂
Well my first prediction came true, wondering if my second one will to. Remember, concerning Tessa. Hope you and family have a merry Christmas. Anxious to see all the combines next spring. Does adding your dad as a drver mean he will get a camera to share content?

if it was appropriate. How much or what is the going price that you are paid per acre or is it by the hour?
Shake, Rattle and Roll
One quick question. Will one auger cart handle all three machines? It seemed like you would need one more cart or a bigger one.
Should keep up in Germany we ran three on one chaser bin granted you only get to dump each combine once before needing to unload the chaser this is in wheat
Cart is parked with two in wheat it will fully use everything to capacity we have ran 3 before it’s not anything new to me
You could name her number 4. She's already got the tattoo.
Larry, Moe, and Curley
How cool! But a bit confusing. You have combines #1, #2, and #4, but you are calling it #3?
Alice, Betty and Claire
I think it should be threebee
Always loved buying equipment at years end in a profitable year for those tax write offs
Dad is going to be extra busy trying to keep 3 units running or are you hiring a mechanic to help for that. Going to need a lot more acres next year.
Welcome to the wild world of farming. Where you work your butt off and give the profits back to John Deere…🎉
New machine - "Tiny Wheels"
WOW, do you need another grain cart?
No… you just need a really good graincart driver 😏
@ Tessa 😂😜
Hope this works out for you guys. Will you need a third combine trailer ? or will you haul it on the second trip when moving. 👍👍👍👍
Was wondering how the additional combine and header complicate move days?
Nope, we will just bring two trucks back rather than one. One being bobtail and the other having an empty combine trailer and most likely will have the combine loaded with the header pulling behind the combine trailer. Although plans can change before it’s all said and done but that’s kinda the plan right now lol

@@HaydenOnHarvest awesome. I am sure you will get it figured.

What town did you buy it in Nebraska
I know a big farmer that has a harvest crew that goes south and live in Valentine
It would be great to see Tessa operate the number 3
Looks like y'all are gonna need another driver if your dad is gonna be in a combine. 🤔
Who's going to drive the 88 pete
I enjoy your channel

Better pick up Macdon spare parts now before the 25% tariff’s kick in for the Canadian Parts etc coming out of Macdon in Winnipeg
Why did you Not get a bigger Combine
Class 7 fits our operation the best you don’t need class 8 machine to 25 bushel wheat lol
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
TESSAS combine… just saying…. The girls may show you up, may have to step up your game Hayden. Great opportunity to get a third combine. Good luck with it. Stay safe and happy holidays just make sure and take care is Tessa and the fur angels💙💙❤️🎄🎄

Beavis butthead and Bertha lol 😂

@@HarvestChicdo you guys Mow Grass year round at the shop? With your climate?
