If you look at the top side of the can, you can see "La" and "Th" in yellow letters, which, of course, are the first two letters in "Lacquer" and "Thinner." Lacquer thinner is much more volatile and flammable than kerosene, which explains why there was a big explosion when Harry dunked his flaming head in it.

In general, the traps in Home Alone 2 are much deadlier than the ones in the original film. I remember seeing a video that showed a compilation of all the traps from both movies, with a computer voice declaring the injuries each trap was likely to inflict. According to that video, Harry and Marv would each have died twice in the first movie (only one death per bandit would count by this video's standards, as the second fatalities were when Old Man Marley hit them with his shovel). In the second movie, however, Harry is killed seven times, and Marv is killed 11 times (with each of the bricks to the head being a kill in its own right)! I personally consider the most gruesome of the traps to be, for Marv, the electrocution, for Harry, the blowtorch to the head/kerosene in the toilet combo, and for both together, the pipe first knocking them back into the basement, and then being dropped after them to hit them again much harder!
I’m sorry, but the bricks I think are a tiny bit more deadly than the electrocution. Because while there’s a slight chance you can survive the electrocution, there’s no chance you survive the brick if it hits you in the head.
In the first Home Alone Kevin was a kid defending himself and his house. In 2 it seems more like he just wants to kill Harry and Marv for kicks and is similar to Macaulay Culkin's character from The Good Son Henry Evans.

Hi, Phil Swift here for the Flex Seal Family of Products! Here’s how to use them as traps in Home Alone. For Flex Seal, let’s say Harry and Marv get covered with paint in their faces and they are looking for something to wash it off. They find a can that says face paint removal on it and the unknowingly spray it in their faces and get covered with thick liquid! For Flex Seal Liquid, imagine there's a tank full of liquid hanging from the ceiling, and Harry finds a plastic string. When he pulls that string, the liquid tanks opens up and Harry gets covered in Flex Seal Liquid! For Flex Tape, think about Phil Swift's giant hand that has strip of tape on it. When Marv goes by, he steps on a button on the floor that triggers Phil Swift's huge fist to slap a strip of Flex Tape on Marv's face! For Flex Glue, basically just put the glue everywhere on the floor and other surfaces to make the Wet or Sticky Bandits get stuck. And lastly, for Flex Paste, just do the paint can tradition and let a bucket of paste hit them in the head. So, there you go. Do you have a better idea on how to use the FSFOP as traps? If so, reply to this comment and let me know!

As someone who supports the Kevin=Jigsaw fan theory, it really makes me smile that you call the things Kevin sets up "traps" and then ranking them from survivable to rigged. You really should do that for at least part of the saw franchise by the way, you don't need to cover every trap but it would be nice to see the king of games in one of your videos. You are appreciated.
yeah, not the most fatal, but the most gruesome, that's like 400 feet in the air 4 times. At least the other traps were fun to watch, that hurt to watch...
The least dangerous traps in real life would be Kevin trying to set the rope on fire and the toilet filled with fuel (not including the blow torch), because kerosene has a very hard time burning or catching fire with a flame since it’s similar to vegetable oil, For kerosene to catch fire, you need to atomise/spray it slowly and finely for it to be flammable and doing that is quite difficult. Because of this, Harry’s head that’s on fire would be extinguished by the kerosene in the toilet
Don't forget that the pipe not only hit them in the face, but it also caused them to smash the back of their heads into the cans after they successfully dodged them.
Two words to describe Kevin from the first two Home Alone movies Home Alone 1: Protector of his own house Home Alone 2: a Burgler Killer trying to protect Christmas and the hospital
Lol it wasn’t the tarantula that would’ve killed, it was Marv trying to crush it with a crowbar and perhaps breaking a few of Harry’s ribs in the process. He forgot a crowbar is less effective than a foot against a bug.
They wore thick plot armor. Honestly, the question is not just "How did they survive?" but how did they survive AND stand up AND walk AND run AND catch up to an uninjured kid who was running away?
My favourite trap is actually the 3rd most gruesome. I was so satisfied when the paint cans came pouring down. And also the fact that Kevin didnt just cut the rope but rather burned it making it all the more painful.

One of the most deadliest trap is the electrocution. Marv LITERALLY turned into a skeleton from One Piece (Brook), for a second!! ☠️ Also bricks is VERY dangerous! I've seen Final Destination!! 😱😱
PLEASE READ!!! In my opinion, the head - on - fire in the second film is the most deadly, not the electrocution. This is why. When someone gets electrocuted, depending on how your heart is and other factors, rarely, the electrocution will not harm you in any way. While with the explosion, there is nobody on this Earth who will survive that. My top five most deadly traps would be this: 1. 2nd time head - on - fire. 2. Electrocution. 3. Pipe to the face. 4. Falling bricks. 5. Kerosene rope. HONORABLE MENTIONS: Seesaw, 1st time head - on - fire, cement bag, paints cans, and the crowbar. I am not sure why he forgot the crowbar but it is extremely deadly, as you could puncture the heart, lungs, sternum, and definitely some ribs. Thank you for reading my opinion!!!
3:14 According to the "Behind the Scenes": They actually did use a real spider, but dubbed the screaming as actively screaming during the scene would have set the spider off.
Considering all of the injuries Harry and Marv got from the traps, you’d think that they’d be taken to the hospital first before prison, but it is just a movie, so...🤷♀️
12:14 I can't believe Kelvin only iced part of the stairs, if I was him, it would have been the pavement, the stairs, the bannisters, the patio and the doors. Since the Wet Bandits are now bruised, injured, got a few broken bones, insane infection, dellarious, lack of energy and can't move much, this would have been the trap to finish it off. The front door and back door, no way to get in, they would be stuck. Considering Kelvin is clever, I can't believe he would forget this sort of thing.
This video is perfect for Christmas in July! Also, it should’ve been uploaded in December 2020 for the 2020 Christmas season! Tomorrow is July 25th and maybe you guys can do a special video for that occasion!
For the falling from NY apartment, you forgot to mention that they just got burned from the rope on fire, then paint cans hit them afterwards. That moves it up to silver in my opinion.

I’m surprised that 4 bricks to the head is only the 5th most brutal trap
yeah, not the most fatal, but the most gruesome, that's like 400 feet in the air 4 times. At least the other traps were fun to watch, that hurt to watch...
The least dangerous traps in real life would be Kevin trying to set the rope on fire and the toilet filled with fuel (not including the blow torch), because kerosene has a very hard time burning or catching fire with a flame since it’s similar to vegetable oil,
For kerosene to catch fire, you need to atomise/spray it slowly and finely for it to be flammable and doing that is quite difficult.
Because of this, Harry’s head that’s on fire would be extinguished by the kerosene in the toilet
Don't forget that the pipe not only hit them in the face, but it also caused them to smash the back of their heads into the cans after they successfully dodged them.

Two words to describe Kevin from the first two Home Alone movies
Home Alone 1: Protector of his own house
Home Alone 2: a Burgler Killer trying to protect Christmas and the hospital
Kevin must have a HIGH IQ
No wonders why the traps in the second movie is so brutal.
Fun fact: the nail in HOME ALONe 1 is made of rubber and would not actually hurt Marv
Lol it wasn’t the tarantula that would’ve killed, it was Marv trying to crush it with a crowbar and perhaps breaking a few of Harry’s ribs in the process. He forgot a crowbar is less effective than a foot against a bug.
The final shot of Daniel Stern's reaction to the welder trap (his scream and fall) is still one of the most hilarious moments ever portrayed on film.
The Nail and Ornament traps are the ones that made me flinch the most when I watched this movie. OUCH!
“And on even floors.” (Their falling on toy cars) BRO YOU EVER EVEN STEPPED ON *ONE* LEGO?!
Fantastic Four: World's Greatest Heroes
Good: Sue Storm
Nuetral: Mrs. Courtney Bonner Davis
Evil: Dr. Doom
This video is awesome but my only question is that how did Harry and Marv survive all of those traps?
Maybe their secretly superhuman or are toons like in Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
They wore thick plot armor. Honestly, the question is not just "How did they survive?" but how did they survive AND stand up AND walk AND run AND catch up to an uninjured kid who was running away?

If this is the case, then the only thing that would kill them is DIP.
Netflix a series of Unfortunate events good to evil
11:07 Our latest example of this is the warm doorknob.
My favourite trap is actually the 3rd most gruesome. I was so satisfied when the paint cans came pouring down. And also the fact that Kevin didnt just cut the rope but rather burned it making it all the more painful.

In the first Home Alone you'd think there'd have been a point Harry and Marv decided robbing the McCallister house wasn't worth it and left.
I think I would've left after the first one or two.
it went from robbing a house to all out revenge
i mean to be fair if a house had that many traps i'd assume something was really valuable there . . .
These traps are so funny!
They should do home alone traps funny to hilarious
Some of them are funny but some I just cannot watch.
11:20 This one should have gone into the suspension of disbelief category. The door would have caught fire before the doorknob heated up.
Buzz’s tarantula really made Marv scream like a woman seeing a mouse.
Idea for 1up Binge Minecraft mobs weak to powerful
Do SNES villains evil to most evil
Least evil: Baby Bowser
Bad: Bowser
Evil: Gaygas
Very evil: Mother Brain
Most evil: Kefka Palazo
7:43 Managed to dent the car roof *dent? DENT? THE CAR'S ROOF IS IN PEICES*
You mean pieces
These parts of Home Alone are my favorite 👍😂🤣😄😆❤️👍
I feel like the robbers in home alone are the most durable humans alive! And that’s an understatement!
These traps are enough to give Kevin a place as a Mortal Kombat guest character.
One of the most deadliest trap is the electrocution. Marv LITERALLY turned into a skeleton from One Piece (Brook), for a second!! ☠️
Also bricks is VERY dangerous! I've seen Final Destination!! 😱😱
15:48 Well done. Someone finally put the electric sink at number 1. Thank you.
The most unrealistic part of these traps is that marve and harry survived all of them
Can u guys please do Loud House good to evil soon pretty Please
Hell yeah!, these are the reason i love these two movies
Home Alone sequels villains: average to dull
I once burned my whole Palm and it Was more grusome than in the movie and now i watch it so differently
3:14 According to the "Behind the Scenes": They actually did use a real spider, but dubbed the screaming as actively screaming during the scene would have set the spider off.
That tarantula looks cute
They're essentially the exact same movie. With a Talkboy. And that's perfectly fine!
Thing I love about this channels that it actually listens to the comments and uses them in videos.
Considering all of the injuries Harry and Marv got from the traps, you’d think that they’d be taken to the hospital first before prison, but it is just a movie, so...🤷♀️
Prison has infirmaries
You got to be a very brave and inventive kid to make a grown man afraid of a light switch
Kevin did a amazing job in the movie
Some of Kevin’s traps in Home Alone give Jigsaw a run for his money.
Harry: Marv?
Marv: Harry?
Harry: Why do you have your shoes off?
Marv: Why the hell are you dressed up like a chicken?
For the falling from NY apartment, you forgot to mention that they just got burned from the rope on fire, then paint cans hit them afterwards. That moves it up to silver in my opinion.
Camp Lazlo Characters

@@roserahaman3418 ya I know I just showed an example
The more I think about it, the more I realize Harry and Marv are probably immortal at this point
