maximum depth of deep water port after dredging will be 16 meters only.Hence the construction work of Kakinad a Gate way port near Kakinad a SEZ(30 km s North side of Kakinad a deep water port)should be completed as early as possible as it will be the deepest port in India with 22 meters depth.

హోప్ ద్వీపం కాకినాడ రేవుకి ఒక "వరం". ఇలా దేశంలో మరెక్కడా లేదు. దీన్ని ఆధారంచేసుకుని కాకినాడని మరింత వృద్ధిచేసే అవకాశముంది.
"హోప్" ద్వీపం పైకి ఒక రైలుమార్గం వేయాలి. ప్రస్తుతం వేస్తున్న కాకినాడ-కోటిపల్లి మార్గం పొడిగింపు, నరసాపురం మార్గం దానికనుబంధంగా ద్రాక్షారామునుంచి, యానాం మీదుగా (కొంత మేర సముద్రంలోనుంచి) "హోప్" ద్వీపాగ్రంవరకు రైలు మార్గం వేస్తే, సరుకుల (ముఖ్యంగా బియ్యం) భారీ(bulk)రవాణా సాధ్యమౌతుంది.
కాకినాడ పట్టణ తీరానికి, 'హోప్' కి మధ్యనున్న విశాల సింధుశాఖ (gulf) ని ఓడల తయారీకి (ship building) అభివృద్ధి చేయాలి.
ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ నాయకులు వీటిపై విశేషంగా దృష్టిపెట్టాలి.
The route to hope island via Drakharama and Yanam is a long route.Hence a railway line should be laid directly from Kakinad a port railway station to hope island via Chollangi and berths should be constructed on inner side of the island near Godavari point.Kakinada-Narsapur line should be extended for another 74 kms length to Machilipatnam via Bantumilli as this line is already sanctioned.

Ocean going vessels need deep draft(depth ) that is unavailable on shallower, inner side of Kakinada bay & it can become a problem. Chollangi & nearby areas are part of Coringa protected mangrove (Mada) forest, while the route from Yanam will skirt the area. Railway line may not be permitted through Corangi sanctuary. It may mean bridging the bay that is "avoidably" costly, while the shallow bank of land from Yanam will permit laying a railway line. In any case better keep Hope island port, uncluttered & away from Kakinada city as goods transport in bulk need not be through a city.
Railway connectivity of Yanam is desirable. Development of cluster of towns is dsiarble too.
If you look at Google Earth map, Bantumilli is just 9 km from Mandavilli Rly. station & Railways may not take up a route laying at 9 km apart. Besides, acquisition of fertile 3-crop land may not be recommended. Route mileage reduction in cost, of Machilipatnam - Narsapur may not be appreciable. In modern times however, Machilipatnam (for that matter any riverine delta port) isn't suitble for Ocean going vessels (in costly dredging & what not), except for small craft.
These are my opinions that may not stand the test of time. Our opinions may not even move a paper in central government.

AP state government wanted to sell Machil patnam and Bhavanapadu ports to A Dani to construct and operate them but A Dani refused to buy them.Hence AP government is going to construct them with its own money.

It is good that A Dani refused. Dani is correct, on commercial feasibility.
Every sea going vessel needs adequate "draft", the depth of water when it berths close to the land. It may be 45 to 48 feet for an Ocean-going vessel nowadays, that is unavailable mostly on Indian coast (good or significant ports). Innumerable Rivers &their deltas compound this lack, as they add silt making the shores shallow. This is the problem with Machilipatnam on Krishna river delta. A port is ruled out for it (but for river craft as in olden days). Bhavanapadu has a creek, that if properly "trained" will yield a proper port.
