Solo travel is the best. You have the freedom to do what you want when you want. It also makes you get out of your comfort zone and meet other travelers.
Just for info: Iced Kopi C doesn't actually use condensed milk. But what they call carnation milk :) It's basically unsweetened evaporated milk, which is why they add some sugar. The texture is lighter, whereas our normal Iced Kopi uses condensed milk which is sweetened and thicker. So these are your options if anyone wants to try either.
Thank you for sharing. I always go to my local Kopitiam and saw there’s a kopi c and the normal kopi but couldn’t be bothered to ask and now I know the difference 😊
14:51 glad that you found some of the yummy local food we eat everyday, esp at coffeeshops like this one. Also, remember to place your utensils on your bowl instead of on the tray.
Having traveled many years solo, here are some of my recommendations, choose the same airline or an alliance to build up points unless the deal is too good to pass. Be aware some airlines put a use by date ie SG. When looking for hotel I consider 2 things location to Metro / Subways, and hotel reward points. The former for easy cheap transport ( I usually buy & keep the card for future return) & the latter for free stays or upgrades or tier status loyalty which brings its own set of goodies. As a young person take a tour about the 2 or 3 day just to meet new people & potentially socialise. When eating at night, take your diary to capture the day, a magazine like Time Out for ideas. When travelling I always choose a window seat, no matter the transport. Finally I use Google maps & UA-cam to check out areas, shops or photo locations. While solo can be lonely at times, it is great fun because you are more open to new experiences. Keep enjoying 🎉
Phoebeeee, this is such a cute vlog! Good on you for taking a solo trip :) The streets of Singapore are sooo aesthetic and living for your entire wardrobe!
Fantastic vlog, solo travel is great, I’ve done it many times myself to places like New York & Dubai, also thinking about visiting Singapore. Great vlog, well put together, great editing
Singapore is one of my favorite City!Ty take us walk around the city and explore some delicious food. Singapore is so clearing and the air is flash . ur video is so good❤❤!Ty again!(forgive my poor English 😢)
We enjoy your every video. We thank you for giving us more knowledge about Singapore and we hope to make more videos with more beautiful content. We are following your videos from today. Your every video helps us to make better projects after studying the Singapore market.
I literally thought there is a layer of black mesh kind of thing on your CK half back top but never did I know it’s your body tattoo, wǑw, that’s so cool😯 You’re smarter than me, as Sporean, I don’t even know how to take a bus from a point to another😅 I only drive or taking a private hire at most😁😂 Oh yeah, welcome to Spore🥳
Some of hotels do have midnight room from 12am and could have late check out until 6pm which they charge half day extra or relatively cheaper than full price. But Singapore's hotel price does increase quite significantly compare to pre-covid. However, it is also much cheaper than in Sdyney.
@@phoeberuchen Yes, it really depends on the hotel. Some hotel chain has the late check out option for golden members. Still, it is way much cheaper than Sydney. You have good trip in Singapore cheers.
Welcome back to SG! Hope that you had a great time here for your first ever solo trip! *also ty for choosing Singapore as your first ever!* I can't wait for your part 2 video and visit us again!
Cool! Never did solo before as its daunting (and like you said unable to try more dishes between more people and also unabl eto share moments of the trip with), but Singapore would indeed be easier especially for first time solo trip because of it multiculturalism (lots of different types foods so definitely you can find something) and that its relatively safe and everyone speaks some English, and it's very very easy to travel around with your Visa/Mastercard and Google Maps. Please ping us when part 2 is out!
It's nice to see vloggers exploring countries instead of just visiting places of attraction
Welcome to Singapore! 😊
