Duncan reading "Cheese" instead of "Chess" is a very Duncan thing to do
I was confused why adding chess would make his animal more appetizing, the when it cut back and he was making cheese I started laughing out loud
My wife asked me what I was cackling about during that whole build, and I told her it was imagining the response when he reveals what his brain did.
... and it paid off :)
Yeah that took me a minute to figure out why he wanted to eat it XD
when he started making a cheese board I thought *I* had misread it, only at the end to realize no, it was him.
I lost it at Duncan's "I have a little confession to make", laughed so hard my face hurts, a goddamn cheeseboard
it took someone saying it aloud for it to finally click lol
It could only be Duncan who makes that cheeseboard blunder

Rythian reading "Spider Centaur" and going "Horse+Spider" rather than "Centaur, but what's usually horse is spider" is an INSANE move.
I mean a spider centaur is basically just a drider, so the only way to make it still have horse aspects would be to give it hooves on the 8 legs, and then maybe a horse head.

You'd need to blend the spider into both the human and horse halves somehow... It was a weird prompt.
Watching Duncan build giraffe+chessboard and talk about how he wants to eat it every day and laughing at how absurd that was, then gradually realising he'd misread it as he got further along his build.... I-

All of these prompts go wrong at Rythian, his brain just thinks differently lol

But he sure ain’t right.
Ben's build was garbage though (in regards to looking like the prompt). It was way too short, its tail was bending the wrong way, it had the wrong number of legs and Rythian is colourblind (so I guess it looked brown to him?)
He definitely made this episode a lot more entertaining.
@@FrostedCreations Are we talking about the ladybird lobster? If it weren't for the scorpion tail that build would've been perfect. It was very clearly supposed to be part ladybird. I was expecting a guess of ladybird scorpion but thinking it was a squid is just insane, there is not a single feature of a squid on it. It's not too short it's ladybird length, and I garuntee you not a single one of them would've been thinking about the number of legs it had, not that it would make any difference because it doesn't have enough for scorpion lobster or squid so it literally doesn't make a difference.

I love that the Rabbit-Capybara immediately lost the Capybara, only for it to be picked up by the Spider-Centaur
Cheeky little build tip; if you place a piece of string underneath where you want a tongue to be (a tongue sticking out), you can then place a carpet on top of that
That cheeseboard is my favourite yogscast moment of 2024...

Yeah, the one's in the UK certainly are, must of heard some fact from somewhere.
I personally know they are because one flew over to my ham sandwich and started eating the ham XD
Most adult wasps consume nectar! Their predatory habits are in pursuit of feeding their carnivorous grubs; they collect the meat (or sometimes just macerate it) to bring back to their young, assuming they aren't the parasitic type that just lays eggs directly inside a paralyzed bug.

Nilesy wasps don't look for pollen!
No insect does. They go for the nectar and the pollen gets stuck on them. Some wasps are pollinators. Fig wasps for example. Even bats are pollinators

The intro to the cartoon had dog outside the bathroom through a hole in the door whilst cat did its business, so presumably they have an opening in the middle.

There are moments in the show where dog eats spicy food and the cat shoots fire from his mouth so I assumed it was like that

Being preoccupied and not looking at the screen the whole time, I kept wondering why Duncan would think a chessboard is a thing he’d want to eat everyday.
I'm an American, but I too maintain that grey is spelled with an e. It just looks better written.
I love how you can just hear in Duncan's voice the "oh *no*" when the guess comes up, like he hadn't realized the lack of cheese in Rythian's build until that exact moment.
I love the throwback to the Giraffe and Elephant from years ago, so glad Lewis got that prompt 😂

Catdog was only on TV when I was really young, and coincidentally the only thing I can remember from it is cat being angry at dog because whenever dog eats something, he craps it out of cat's mouth.

Reminder that the look you associate with the blobfish is not how they actually look and instead their bloated corpse
The pressure from deep in the ocean would normally compress them and they would look like a normal fish, but when they get fished out they essentially explode and look like blobs.

We have extensive fosil records and a pretty good timeline of cephalopod evolution from and how they diverged from other animals in their origins. They didnt come from space, rhythian, come on man, youre smarter than this.

In case anyone is wondering we have a good fossil record because their ancestors left behind shells (and they still kind of have a shell inside them, the quill). But hey, it's 2024, just spout bullshit and say "well that's just my theory, and my theory is equally as valid as yours" and people don't see any issue with that.

Wasps get pollen from trees more than flowers so something large and moving from wind is not unusual for them.

Had this on in the background when working on illustrations for a children's book that's basically this idea and had to double take when I heard girrelephant as that's an actual character in the book.
