  • In this "How To" video, I wanted to share updated information about the UnMinted Quick-Change Metal Stamping Jigs that I launched in 2022.
Whether you're stamping rings, bracelets, pendants or other metal projects, while stamping letters, numbers, designs, hallmarks, or logo marks, keeping your metal stamps aligned and getting even impressions can be challenging. So, I've designed these jigs to help.
The jigs work with any brand metal stamp, in various shapes and sizes, and are designed to keep your stamps steady and aligned over your workpiece while you're metal stamping.
They are made of durable solid nylon, and feature two strong neodymium magnets to hold your stamps.
The jigs are available exclusively through my UnMinted.LTD site here: unminted.ltd/p...
Or, through my Etsy shop here: unmintedltd.et...

Mine should be delivered tomorrow. I think this is going to be a game changer for me, and MUCH less wasted metal! 😊

Would love to see a version or adaptation to stamp butter knives and flattened spoons. There is a huge silverware community who would love that!

This version should work great for that - would have to prop up a foot / or feet with a similar thickness material to what you're stamping, but could use it for freeform, no problem! For instance, if you have a flattened spoon, they will be similar in size if you're making a handful of them. Could take a piece of chipboard (or anything a bit thicker than a cereal box that's about the thickness of the flattened spoon you're stamping), could trace the flattened spoon, and cut out that shape, and tape that shape on your stamping block. Then, can place the flattened spoon on the block inside that cut out. That way, you can move the jig around the piece as you work, and the feet will be propped up to keep the stamps vertical. I'll post a video in the FB group.
