- We celebrated Caleb's 8th birthday with a picnic at the mountain. They say a kids seventh birthday is special, celebrated like the first one. But since 2020 was something else of a year, we celebrated it ourselves during quarantine, and with family members joining us over at Zoom.
For this year, as we ease into somewhat back to our normal lives, still far from it -- but hey, at this point any opportunity to take the kids outside so they could run around, fall, get-up and get dirty playing with soil -- we'll take it.
Viewscapes Nature's Park is a special place for us now. Just last June 5, Fern got off work early and we didn't know where to go that morning. We grabbed McDonald's drive thru and ate in the car at the UP Campus thinking the kids could go down for a walk there afterwards, but no. On our drive home we just called it, let's take the hour drive to Viewscapes, and we did. Just a quick stop by the house for the kids' essentials and we were off. I still had the camping gears left in the car from our last camp, and I don't see it leaving the car anytime soon.
I wish I had more epic shots to share, but I don’t. But I thought then this day wasn’t about that, this day was more about having a good time with family, preparing food for them setting up the shelters properly for them. Save those epic shots and nice sequences for my solo camps. 😅

Thank you. ❤️ May short portion lang na challenging for a sedan especially pag basa yung lupa, if maulan don’t risk it. Pero if maganda panahon walang problema sedan, I’ve seen Vios or Wigo sa camp a few times. 🙂 Enjoy!

Thank you.. ❤️ From experience Viewscape will not turn you down naman if you just show up there, but best to have a reservation especially if mataon may checkpoint. Bihira naman na siguro ngayon checkpoint, pero hahanapan ka kasi ng reservation incase meron. Lusot naman kahit may kids kami basta may reservation. Enjoy the place po! 🙂

Nice! If you plan to I hope you can document your trip abangan ko video mo. 👍🏼 2pm-12nn the next day yata times nila, not sure sa additional charges kung meron if you go in early or head out late. Minimal lang siguro if meron man..
