- The last time I've played this was around a couple years ago? I remember enjoying quite a lot. Sadly the project didn't see the addition of the other cities yet, but it's still really fun to experience Miami in a lag free environment. It's not ReDriver but it's good enough! Plus I quite like having to play the missions we usually have to skip in runs since we go in a different branch of missions.
The run itself was alright, this was my first finished run with a timer and being just a minute off Viper's time felt encouraging. The obvious time lost are from the chases, I'll have to sit down and both learn the patterns and figure out a quick way to tell them apart, with the timer now not being an option. Traffic might be a solution à la Driv3r.
Probably will give this a bit more tries, this is mainly because I'm showcasing this at our Driver Marathon this Saturday.

Hey survivor! Just got a handheld emulator and it had a ps1 emulation system, so needless to say I remembered having a red and black disk game when I was younger search it up and found it was driver 2 and man it shot me down memory lane. I remember my brother showing me the secret car in Chicago and that's all I ever did, but now that I have it again and older I wanted to beat it I've been playing it mission by mission along side with your speed run with ESA Speedrunning. I'm not even going to try and attempt a speed run, but as of right now I've been stuck on the last level where you "tail the chopper" for about a day now but when it speeds up at the end like you said on stream it's incredibly difficult even after remembering the pattern. I just wanted to say thank you and I'm now subbed. Now binging your videos while I try not to throw this device through the wall haha just wanted to say great job and thank you! ❤🐰
Glad you enjoy! And yeah it's a pretty common run killer for a reason, since there's no real trick, it's just "drive quite well without doing a major mistake" and you get to win. Quite bad at the end of a full run!
the classic syndicate needs to make it optional to use civ cars, would love if they're playable ughh
Could you post a link to the game and the mods? I tried downloading them some time ago, but the game was so buggy that it was just unplayable. I'm not sure if I was using the right versions.
I'll try to find a moment to edit the info in yeah, it is indeed a bit jank to get running these days since it's a old mod and it struggles with the newer version of Driver Syndicate
