I have both E3 5 and mr4. Very similar in design, Edifier s are better built, less fatiguing, less harsh in the treble, the bass is warmer and overall sound is better for music listening imo.
i wonder if genelecs or neumann is an upgrade over this?

My mr4 are cutting my sounds . When my bass is to loud why is it ??
they siund good, but my passive speaker have teribble resonance in the low range
Edifier S2000 mk3 or klipsch the fives?
Do you listen the hiss on the speakers? We know all they have but in my case i bought a pair of Tannoy reveal 402 and they are super annoying hiss sound, too loud in my opinion... i had to return them.

@@BagusWibisono I returned Mackie's CR3XBT yesterday, white limited edition.
They hiss as soon as you power them on, paint was peeling off by itself, front metal panel started to come off by itself, overall, very poor build quality. I bought them new ofc. Between Mackie's and Edifier's, I would go for MR4.
My main speakers are Edifier R2000DB and yeah those are double the price but they can bring your house down. Very high build quality, no hiss, sound is really awesome if you connect them to a decent audio card. I have mine connected to Asus Xonar U7 MKII.

Which is better? Edifier R1700BT 66W 2.0 Bookshelf Speakers w/ Bluetooth or the MR4 ?
If Bluetooth is important, and you have no need for the monitor function, then the rt1700 is a better choice
@@TheBoomerConsumer I think BT is quite handy but I was thinking about soundwise. I feel that the RT1700 is quite warm so I had to eq a little. Overall it is good after that.

@@MonesahBuson apples and oranges, you like synthesised sound or pure flat sound(not that the mr4 is purely flat but relative to the r1700bt, it is) ?
Generally, for gaming and movies, r1700bt will provide that low frequency (booming and thumping)
For critical music listening, mr4 will provide the details and instrument separation
It seems to me that the MR4 is strictly a nearfield pc speaker, not a bookshelf speaker. The R1700 is the latter.

You can use a subwoofer with a output for speakers like Presonus Sub8 and also has a high pass filter

What I truly detest, on ANY equipment, are useless stickers. Your speakers have the worst thing ever.. there's a useless sticker on the front AND they put it on crooked.
Totally agree with you on useless stickers and having them put on crooked. However, in this situation, I think it is useful to actually put a sticker there indicating the different modes the speaker has (music mode/monitor mode) because not all speakers have this feature. What I don’t like about it in this case was that they didn’t even took the time to align the sticker properly. Good thing about stickers is that you can remove them.
