A transcendental pop song of real beauty and magic. These guys know. If you've ever been down to the bones of your soul, sleepness nights of uncertainty, loss, fear and emptiness, nothing but a tinny little phone speaker playing this song at the lowest volume, and surrendered whatever's left of your shattered spirit to this bubbling, percolating, rattling rhythm, you'll unlock its healing energy. The verse starts with an understanding that things are over, an attempt at acceptance, but the gradually descending minor chords portray a cavernous depth of unfamiliar, overwhelming emotions, tragically sad yet epic and beautiful at the same time. The switch comes with the Sibelius-inspired chorus, itself inspired by the sight of swans flying majestically over a lake, with its rising major chord pattern. This pulls us up and up into a new day, as the vision of a new reality starts to form. Whoever wrote this song was someone who'd definitely lived, loved, lost and used the power of songwriting to turn rain into sunshine. Textbook pop with real emotional resonance.
i loved her since she released toy boy! she hasn't failed at everything why would you say that? she had her time, she was famous for some years and then she probably wasnt lusting for more...i find her songs very cheerful and they make me smile cause i reminisce my teenage years.she indeed looks fabulous still and always with a warm smile! cheers to sinitta!

STILL gives me goosebumps...Surely this is the best SAW song ever written and produced? Love, Truth & Honesty and What Do I Have To Do are also total genius.
This really should've been bigger than it was. Sinitta and SAW definitely hit their peak together with this. The backing track is just magic in itself, Sinitta's vocals are the icing on the cake.
This is my favourite Sinitta track the 12 inch version is a great production. This should of been Top 5 never understood why it never got higher than number 22 in the uk
I remember Steve Penk on Manchester's Key 103 constantly playing the Instrumental version of this on his breakfast show. The track is very simple but it is brilliant.
For a long time I heared this song as an instrumental version and I didn't knew, who the singer was. The instrumental version is great as with her singing too
Look how many subscribers her channel has, it is hilarious. This is why i love sinitta, she fails at everything, yet still looks fabulous and lives in st tropez with champagne. true icon
I never knew she existed I’m just floored at how non-urban she sounds! Her singing voice is not r&b soul at all. I’m just like wow. Omg you would never know she is black.
i think this is one of the best SAW-productions, it was a pity it wasn't a hit, the title perhaps too negative, reminds me of turn it into love of kylie minogue and boys and girls of mandy
The fanfare riff that David Motion nicked for "Since Yesterday" by Strawberry Switchblade was also used on 1974 single "Beach Baby" by First Class, and in 1988 on "I Don't Believe In Miracles" by Sinitta. web.archive.org/web/20170204001256/www.strawberryswitchblade.net/downloads/
that's interesting. but really not "theft" in any way. all music takes inspiration from other music. a 30+ minute orchestral composition is quite different from a 3 minute pop song. In my opinion, even direct cover versions aren't theft. You're adding something new. I've went and listened to the Sibelius Fifth Symphony and can't even tell where it's the same.
Definitely one of her most underrated singles. Great song.
couldn't agree more
Согласен хотя слышу впервые😁😁😁😁👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
My favourite Sinitta song hands down!

This is the most beautiful explanation of what makes Stock-Aitken-Waterman music production so great I've ever read, bravo!
Pure pop perfection.
The fact that this single was overlooked is criminal. It is brilliant!

This is my favorite Sinitta PWL song from 1987. Love this song. Brilliant song and one of
Sinitta's most underrated songs.
it was released in Aug 1988

So true, I remember being slightly obsessed by the production of this song when I was a kid
Hi look Luis Rodrigues he too from 80s
ALBUM ‘Wicked’
First Single : Peak Position No.22
Pro.Stock,Aitken,Waterman
I feel so privileged to be hearing this for the first time. it sounds so great.
Her body is crazy tone. It's like aerobic instructors in the 80s knew how to make a body look fly AF
It's funny that Sinitta herself doesn't rate this song. To me it is easily her best song.
Thats True. This song is very best in her musical achevments
I used to have this song on my PSP and every once in a while I’ll think of it and it brings back good ol childhood memories
Love Sinitta. This track is such a gem. Loved her since Toyboy and Cross my broken heart. Hasn't aged a day.
Her best song, they others have not aged well, but still better than the crap in the charts these days
Angela Gibbon dummy it’s called good plastic surgery and she can’t sing
@@Loree5669 I doubt there is any good plastic surgery , but sinitta probably needs it, as she more than likely was born male. Who can sing?
I love the 80's, I love Sinitta's songs 4ever ;)
Her very best song, hands down - Stock, Aitken and Waterman are pop geniuses. And what a dress! 🙂
I wish there were still clubs that would play this sort of stuff.
Coming soon to the west Midlands my friend..
A lot of has forgot about this song. Back in 1987, this was used in the Motor Show program on BBC1.
Bring back the 80's in fashion and music.
How this never reached the Top 20 I will never know - it is her best track.
Absolutely. It’s a brilliant track
Yes inded.
It’s amazing no one has ever covered this fabulous song , still sounds great along with the video
"WHO IS THE BLONDE DANCER" SHE IS STUNNING!!!? love this song. ; )
I’m not a Sinita fan nor a SAW Fan but this is by far her best and most mature song
I met Sinitta's work yesterday and I'm just in love. This music is perfection
I love the total embrace of synth in SAW's music from that period. It's really beautiful.
My FAV of FAV track Sinitta did with SAW, the immaculate I Don't Believe In Miracles xoxoxoxo
What an absolute legend!! Totally top class!
I love Sinitta. Her beautiful proportion is real Barbie doll❤️🔥
STILL gives me goosebumps...Surely this is the best SAW song ever written and produced? Love, Truth & Honesty and What Do I Have To Do are also total genius.
AGREED !
:)
Just bought the sheet music for this song! I'm in a VERY happy place right now :)
This really should've been bigger than it was. Sinitta and SAW definitely hit their peak together with this. The backing track is just magic in itself, Sinitta's vocals are the icing on the cake.
Haha angry much?
2nd best S/A/W song after Better The Devil You Know. Bloody awesome.
This is my favourite Sinitta track the 12 inch version is a great production. This should of been Top 5 never understood why it never got higher than number 22 in the uk
Sinittas best song. Love this. 2 drummers ftw
One of the drummers lives in York and used to be in a punk band called UK Subs 🤟😁
I love this song... and the loo roll at the foot of the stage. : )
If you take absolutely everything in account then this is the most beautiful woman of all time.
i wouldn't say that
Im 38 now and watching this makes me believe in miracles and wiah i was 13 again back in 1988.
Everybody slatted swl always liked there happy go lucky music tunes so better the shit nowdays
Shit you're 46 now.
@@jaywest3734 No need to sound so young. LOL. Old age is a privalege very few often have the fortune. LOLOLOLOLOL. Happy new year.
@@BAZFANSHOTHITSClassicTunes I'm 36 lol. I can't be that young otherwise I wouldn't be on this video.
Dx7 bass going like the clappers
Such a sad but beautiful melody. I hope she will perform this song live at the PWL Hit Factory concert 11 july.
Sinitta wore the shortest mini dresses for good reason. Shes gorgeous and hot AF.
I remember Steve Penk on Manchester's Key 103 constantly playing the Instrumental version of this on his breakfast show. The track is very simple but it is brilliant.
i love with all my soul this sound💙
flender brilliant song
Power Futuristic Synth & Funcky Bass Sequence!! :)
With a dash of Pachelbel. So genius
@@parralox that would be Sibelius you're hearing, not Pachelbel.
Beautiful voice.
- Hey Sinitta, how much slap-bass do you want?
- YES
My fave S/A/W song.I met her once and she is so nice. She had Brad Pitt too u know.Respect this woman!!

Stock Aitken Waterman stole from Sibelius's 5th Symphony (3rd movement) for parts of this song.
i think this is one of the best SAW-productions, it was a pity it wasn't a hit, the title perhaps too negative, reminds me of turn it into love of kylie minogue and boys and girls of mandy

Sinitta you are a wonderful, talented, sexy, sparkling and eternal woman.
Sounds more like Strawberry Switchblade 'Since Yesterday' to me?
Excellent underrated song but that video hurts my eyes and gives me a headache
Theft alert -- Sibelius Fifth Symphony (the chorus, anyway) . . . but if you're going to steal, steal from the best, right?
The fanfare riff that David Motion nicked for "Since Yesterday" by Strawberry Switchblade was also used on 1974 single "Beach Baby" by First Class, and in 1988 on "I Don't Believe In Miracles" by Sinitta.
