Interesting. The way you just described light almost proves that the sun and moon and the stars aren't as far away as they would have us believe. If so, wouldn't that light be so far spread out once it reached us? I don't know. Something to think about.

Nancy M, I came to the conclusion long ago that our intentions weigh heavily in how we will be judged. God is able to take into consideration ALL the variables of our life experiences, our influences, our choices, our knowledge of him and his word...ALL of it in order to judge completely fairly and utterly just. Having said that, non believers will be judged on what they did with Jesus (accepted him or rejected him), while the acts and works of believers will be judged to see if they were done for the glory of God or not. God is all forgiving, but he is equally honest and just. People will not be allowed into Heaven based on how much they suffered on earth. No amount of suffering on our part can "earn" us entry into Heaven. People need to understand that. *(Non-believers includes professing Christians whose actions prove they do not really know or love God.)

Having a hard day thanku. . Caught neighbor poisoning my grass with poison pellets that are everywhere now and also bug spray..the day after after I said to my kitty not to eat the grass. In the dead of night in my yard on my lawn and so many dying big bumblebees on tip of the lawn the next day. Not being believed about this and having people think I am just paranoid and beig gaslit by the rv park etc hurts almost more. I had to dig up much of the lawn and pick all my pretty clovers cause the poison wouldn't come off. I had to end to many bumble bees withering in pain. Trying to forgive but I am scared here now ..I dreamt a week before this of people with water guns spraying my cat and trying to shoot her but I didn't put it together till now. Life..

I really appreciate the NDE's that don't involve someone seeing Jesus, religion has muddied what could be a true understanding of life after death and the Soul and Source of existence.
I suspect how any spirit manifests in appearance to one during their NDE is influenced by the individuals preconceived notions. Those with a religious indoctrination may meet Jesus, Mohammed, Buddha, saints, departed people that they knew of in life, perhaps devils, demons etc. This includes the atheists who do know about these religious figures, even though they may not acknowledge that they are real. Each NDE appears to provide an experience that will best assist one in completing their life mission. This upon their return to the physical body.
At one time in my life I had walked in spiritual darkness, but for these past 50 years my wife and I have been "born again" Christians with God's promise of eternal life in Heaven to look forward to. In the Bible, Jesus says it this way: John 3:17-21 New Living Translation 17 God sent his Son (Jesus Christ) into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him. 18 “There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son. 19 And the judgment is based on this fact: God’s light (Jesus Christ) came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil. 20 All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed. 21 But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants them to do.”

Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life and the country with most Christians is China and the people with the fastest growing Christian group is Iran, so don’t tell me it’s cultural when Truth transcends culture and upbringing etc.

With open hearts, we completely accept God's Love, expressing God's Love, overcoming all temptations towards judgments and fear. This is Christ manifested. These words I communicate with love.
