I've really enjoyed the new school movement mixed with the old school sounds and aesthetic, the only issue I've had is just not being able to compete anymore.
@PsaReaper Great video, don't get me wrong, but the point does get muddied a bit by the fact that this wasn't marketed as straight-up classic servers and they made it very clear more modern QOL improvements would stay, and besides, with how much the playerbase has changed, it was guaranteed not to feel the same. It's a *very* impressive remake by almost any metric you can check, but a lot of players don't really check that metric.
I agree with you, but disgree with some points, for example, shields and double pump. First i will say about shields, it,s necessary to be more hard to find shields because it was that form. And about double pump, its not broken today because we don't have so much players who don't know build and you haven't time to fire two times. But with others i agre, and the most big problem in my opinion is about the movement!
I appreciate your perspective! Balancing shields and weapon mechanics can really change the gameplay experience. It’s interesting to hear how movement plays a big role in your opinion too!
The fortnite og gamemode is not meant to be the same as fortnite in 2017, you should see it as fortnite if it came out in 2024 instead of 2017 and this also applies to the og pass. You should definitly turn the music down or turn your mic up in the video because at some points you were almost impossible to understand.
No it's not...they literally labeled the mode as OG-OG...they should make it a true OG mode or it won't survive for long. And they've gotta remove the bots
