Can you please correct me if something is wrong in this step-by-step: 1. Finish the boxing session; 2. Wipe the equipment with paper towels; 3. Let it air dry while having a drying sheet inside; 4. Once dry: wipe it down with some disinfectant wipes and spray the disinfectant bottle. Do this every couple of days; 5. Once a month use the leather honey for all leather equipment.
Love the content very helpful and informative! Just wanna ask in terms of drying the gears e.g. gloves, and shin guards can I use a hair dryer to dry em up or just let it sit and dry by itself?
I have an old boot heater I use for gloves, I've never tried the hair dryer, the direct heat might not be the best but I think if you distance it it'll work. Usually, I'd let it air dry!
How would you go about cleaning the inside of leather headgear? Woud you still recommend using a leather conditioner/cleaner? Wondering if the stuff is safe on skin.
So for microfiber composite you can actually use leather treatment stuff too! Makes it look like new. Otherwise, your disinfecting stuff would work just as well
@@combat_corpoh got it. Tiny pieces of the leather started falling off or cracking. My gloves are about 7 months old. I can just use a leather conditioner on it correct?
@@combat_corpso all the materials needed are 1. Disinfectant spray, disinfectant wipes ( are the wipes just normal wipes or specific leather disinfectant wipes), leather cleaning cloth (will a normal cloth do?) 2. Leather conditioner and a leather cleaner. I believe that's about it,please correct me if I'm wrong
I just became addicted to your page, I can't stop watching your videos and absorbing all the information you provide....... thank you!!
You put me on leather honey a few years ago. I made a UA-cam video cleaning up a sweet pair of used custom Winning.
It made them look brand new.

Loving the leather honey as well. My gloves have a slight smell of corn chips. Any way to get rid of it?
Use some scented wipes OR get some dryer sheets for the inside!

Leather honey is indeed safe for skin! I would clean it the same for sure so the sweat doesn't soak through too much
Good info Al ~ Justin
I have a pair of fairtex bgv11s,but dont have access to leather honey. Are all leather conditioners/cleaners good to use on microfiber leather gloves?
