God bless you, you given me the motivation and strength to believe I'll be able to run again, it will just take some time but I'll get there 09/02/19 I had a massive brain stroke. (Cerebellum ) # we are truly blessed
@Suganya Suganya The biggest thing I did was to simply make the decision not to use the cane. Yes it was scary at first, but it didn't take long until I did not need it at all. I also worked on my balance and core strength.
be careful and don't rush it. That video was when I was approx 1 year out. I am now at 4 years. I have fell once when running in the back yard and hurt my knee. I should have been more careful.
I had drop foot at first but I worked very hard and it improved. I'm now 6 years out and when I'm tired my foot will drag if I don't concentrate on it.
wow im 13 mos impressed u ditched cane after 3 mos i work out daily finally getting shouder back need hand and leg want my life back had a little ranch fighting to get everything back u r right stroke recovery comes back like tide like waves @@strokewarrior5762
I do stretching yoga 2 times each week and I work with a physical trainer 2 times per week. Not a physical therapist paid by insurance, a physical trainer I pay myself.
If I said V Fib it is my mistake. I meant to say A Fib. AFib ( Atrial Fibrillation) is the most common irregular heart rhythm disorder, especially in people over 65 years of age. Often it starts as brief periods of abnormal beating which become longer and possibly constant over time. Often episodes have no symptoms.
Gosh, what a question. I our weight is always a concern and I'm sure your doctor is the best one to advise you on that. As for me, yes I lost about 25-30 pounds without even trying. It's been 1 yr and 7 months now and for the most part the weight is staying off. I think a lot of that is because I am now exercising regularly as I try to build up my strength again. @@BIGDADDY-dh5nh

What excersizes did you do to build up to that point?
I do stretching yoga 2 times each week and I work with a physical trainer 2 times per week. Not a physical therapist paid by insurance, a physical trainer I pay myself.
Youre hand
What medicine did you take for you to recover fast from a stroke?
Hello. The doctors believe my stroke was caused by V Fib, so I only take a blood thinner and low dose blood pressure med. What have they got you on?
What does V Fib means?

do u need to lose weight if a person is on a stroke?
