My mate hung out with him a little bit. He had to be in the studio in like an hour so needed to write a rhyme, quick - my man said Skinny gave a little kid a fiver to get him some chicken and rice and peas. Anyway apparently he had this busted fat marker and a piece of cardboard he'd found on the floor and starts writing the rhyme on that. Took the kid about 20 minutes to come back with the food and Skinnyman had written basically a whole song. Also he BODIED Common in the early 2000's AT COMMONS OWN JAM-he invited people out the audience to battle him, not knowing that Skinny was literally one of the best freestyle emcees in the UK, lol. He fuckin killed man ON HIS OWN STAGE! LMAOOOO😂😂😂

Great flow nice vibe, problem is so called Music Business in UK sign artists that have no style and therefore no International appeal . But this is top draw
I'd bet it's to do with a dispute with Low Life records. They (apparently) ripped off a lot of artists on distribution deals and have continued to try and sell/stream records without permission or recompense to artists. For the same reason, Task Force managed to get some of their older material pulled down recently as well (Great Outdoors EP), which Low Life put up on platforms without permission.
He doesn’t own the rights. Got ripped off by the label. So fucked that it’s one of the best UK hip hop albums ever but he didn’t make much off it at all
Because Skinnyman got fucked over by Braintax/Low Life Records. They own the rights to the album, Braintax (owner of lowlife) disappeared and never paid skinnyman a penny
Its 2024 and my mans lyrics still resonate hard.

Anyone know why Skinnyman isn't on Spotify anymore?
He removed everything from Apple Music too fuck knows why

It's coming up to the 20 year anniversary of the album drop. Skinny's got the rights back and it's coming out, fresh!
*A 100 hail mary's....*

Hardest barer
Who's the female singer though
His wife
why isn't this on spotify or soundcloud?
Because Skinnyman got fucked over by Braintax/Low Life Records. They own the rights to the album, Braintax (owner of lowlife) disappeared and never paid skinnyman a penny
Why ain't this album on Spotify man..
Pretty sure Braintax fucked Skinny over and owns all the rights to this album, then disappeared nd left him in the dirt
He never got paid and his record label put it on streaming platforms, so they removed it cause he aint getting paid.
