This is the kind of jazz I love. The kind of jazz that goes absolutely wild and has enough attitude to get you hooked all the way through
Fr, most people prefer smooth jazz but this kind is so much more fun!

I woke up to Torque playing in my earbuds at like 2 AM and I'm not mad, I guess I listened to so many other jazz songs and this is the one that woke me up.

You know the song is good the whole way through when everyone gives different timestamps.
That bari player goes several notes lower than the usual bari range, and l am absolutely here for it.
Also, that is one of the crunchiest funk bone solos l have ever heard, and it makes me want to crawl into a hole.
Alan Baylock has got to be my favorite composer.

have to admit i am a little jaded when someone says oh that's great, i go uh hum, HOWEVER you were dead on spot! and the intro as well. great round, full, but not too edgy on the bass trb. great ensembles,solos and great building writing!

When Doc switches modes at 3:48 and then makes that weird noise at 4:00! It’s an affirmation of why he’s my fave trumpet soloist.

As a middle school professional pianoist, me and my 15 people band can learn this in 5 days in mastery, I need a bigger challenge, like el abrazo a such sweet thunder 😂
