She did sweep our real concerns under the rug. My whole strands were coming out plus from the middle of my strand! I want more than an apology from P&G and Mielle products period!!!!
Chile, I’ve heard this from at least 10 people I know personally. Sorry that happened & you definitely deserve more than an apology. The crazy thing is, an apology wasn’t even issued. That’s the least that could’ve been done smh
@@nyasianonstop you are right about that! And thank you for making this video! I believe the ones affected just want to bring awareness to this pressing issue! I have been in tear mode since I had to cut my hair a few days back! I just recently posted a short on my page about my experience. I will be doing a more detailed video later but again thank you for even speaking on this !!! And much success to you my dear!!!!
Thank you for using your platform to bring more awareness to this issue. I did a deep dive into the Rosemary Mint line ingredients and uploaded a video detailing the formulation issues, toxic ingredients and all. Proof has surfaced that ingredients in the products have definitely changed. Be safe out here sistas & brothas!
I stopped using Mielle a while ago because it started making my hair dry. It's unfortunate because I loved their products. I do agree that maybe the integrity of the ingredients changed.
The big companies aren’t going to just focus on product that’s only geared towards us. They’re going to focus on a products that’s for all. I hate that so many black owned companies sell their business to the big companies after we get use to them. Now I completely understand that it’s all business. My stylist is now looking for another black owned hair care brand for natural hair since Mielle has been sold.
@@nyasianonstopI agree, I stopped purchasing the products. P&G allegedly ADDED the ingredient “ Henna”, which is a strengthening agent and it dries out the hair shaft, they added to the entire line each product which is extremely drying and causes the hair to break, dries the scalp , also. The line does not have enough hydration for BW natural hair, unique to us.
To say a black owned business owner owes some sort of loyalty to one group is kinda wild … she’s entitled to create wealth and legacy for herself and family like any other business owner so to allude that she should stay in a small box for the sake of some customers isn’t fair. No one else is expected to do that.. she’s now in a position to create another boutique brand because she can afford it now..
She’s entitled to do whatever she wants but selling is risky and unfortunately it hasn’t worked in her favor for the longevity of her brand. True she can start another brand but given how consumers of all race’s & ethnicity have shunned her, IN MY OPINION, it will be difficult. I wish her well though, as stated multiple times in this video.
The youtuber is Linda Lynn and I was one of the subbies who got into it with Monique….she didn’t like our comments and told us we couldn’t read directions and or follow directions….. the backlash started because of her inability to take constructive criticism. It might just be karma….I think your mis informed on that particular issue.
You’re right. I’ve done more research & plan to do a part 2 to this video. There’s a lot more that I discovered. Since I have a brand of my own, I try to be careful with my words but I will definitely highlight all of the other things I discovered. It’s deep

@@nyasianonstop it’s very upsetting indeed.

My co worker experienced the dryness as well. I really hope the brand can bounce back
I think the issue maybe ingredient quality . They maybe sourcing cheap ingredients to offset the cost of the acquisition.
I wholeheartedly believe that’s the issue as well
This is my thoughts
Judy uses her kaleidoscope definitely!!! Monique Rodriguez can’t convince me she uses her own product!!

You are absolutely right about them focusing on products that’s for all. As soon as I see “for all hair types”, I no longer use the brand or product.
