    Thank you so much! OMG, this app is amazing, not having to count, OMG!! Thank you for explaining this so well. I am buying this right now!
    I want to add to my comment from before and say I just got the app and I am blown away by how great it is. OMG, it's the like best thing in cross stitch that happened to me. I LOVE it. Thanks again for sharing your love for it. I am hooked, I am now looking for saga and other useable files only. If there is no saga file, I am not stitching that project.
    BTW, to change to inches, just change the floss choice from metres to yards, then will automatically give the size of the stitched area in inches. Thank you again, Katie!

      I’m so so happy you love it!
      Yes, I’m the same way now, if I see pattern that I like and there is no saga for it most likely I will not get it 😀

    I started using saga last year and so fell in love! I do stitch a lot of Russian patterns and kits, so I use it all the time. I love it that some kit companies now offer the saga files if you show them proof that you have the kit (RTO, Oven etc) and Abris Art kits now come with a link to the saga file. Yippee!!!
    I hadn’t even realised that I can change the background ‘fabric’ to see how the pattern looks on different colours. Woohoo! 🥳
    I always use that ‘smiley face’ when I stitch. I love it that everything that I have already stitched shows as bright pink, so it is easy to use that when I need to count my way to the next spot.

      Yes I wish more designers and kits companies will starts include saga, I’m convinced if they all themselves stitch just once with it they will understand how amazing it is 😂
      Yes lots of people I see use this option, for me easier to see symbols that I already stitch, so I don’t use it, but I think it’s also amazing add to instruments. Like saga has it all for comfortable stitching

    Great and comprehensive tutorial 😊 I'm a saga user since earlier this year and omg has it transformed my stitching experience 😍 I used to be more active among the English speaking cross stitch community and never heard of Saga until I joined the polish community where saga is very popular. At the start it seemed a bit complicated but once I got a hang of it I'm never going back. I still use Pattern keeper for some patterns but I recently learned how to make patterns for saga and I think going forward I might only use saga. I seriously don't know how this app isn't more popular. I agree with you it's the best cross stitch app out there. I also like that function that you can email yourself a shopping list you need for a certain project 😁 I hope more design creators will make xsd patterns more available ❤

      Yes! Emails list is amazing! Because in Russia it’s very popular to email list of DMC floss to some shops so they can cat and organize floss for you, since getting DMC is not that easy and kinda pricy in there. But it also cool to use here since I can just email this list to myself and next time I’m at the hobby store I can get everything that I need :)

    This is amazing! Thank you! I bought this app but was super overwhelmed with how to use it and this was super helpful! Hopefully pattern makers start using XSD format!

      I’m so happy I was helpful! I hope so too, some saying it’s an safety issue, like they afraid people will share patterns, and I understand it, but I don’t get why pdf is ok but saga it’s not safe 😅

    Thank you so much for this video, I’ve tried to look for tutorials but most are in Russian. I’ve converted a few patterns and looking forward to getting started. ❤

    Oh thank you for the video! I just digitzed a dimensions kit of mine...wish i´d known of mishelle_sharle before but this way I was able to make some changes:) BUT I noticed your number of stitches icon was showing up for vertical and mine is horizontal, so i knew there must be a way to change it and I figured out by doing a long press on the toolbar you get a bunch more options to adjust to your liking...mind blown...now i was also able to change the markup to be more visible, which was the one thing I was not happy about coming from (and being used to) pattern keeper. I totally agree with you on the why don´t modern designers just provide the files, since at least the big pattern making softwares (which im assuming if you are a designer you probably work with something nice) can export oxs or xsd file format. Frustrating. I am "promoting" (totally unpaid, just as a fan) the app on my channel as well because I would love for saga to become more widely used and hence more people will provide the files.

      @RedsStitchery  Місяць тому

      Yay! So happy you were about to adjust it to your liking! The reason why designers don’t use saga I guess it’s a safety issue, and I understand it, I do agree that pattern should be purchased from the designers, but I don’t understand why pdf is ok but xsd not 🙈

    Hi. 11.26min How create new folder ? Of saga😮

    • @RedsStitchery
      @RedsStitchery  Місяць тому

      1. Make sure you have an updated version of saga should be 4.9.7 (at the moment of this comment that’s what it is :) )
      2. Under each project you will see … click it and scroll and 3 from the bottom is “move to album”
      3. From there you will have options
      - creat new one
      - if you already have albums it will give you a list of all that you have
      If you see on very top of the app also will be “select” option , you can select multiple projects at the same time and move those together
      ☺️☺️☺️

    This was incredible. I’ve been waiting years for Pattern Keeper to finish their iOS development because I only have an iPhone, and this will work so beautifully instead. I am so excited. Thank you for walking me through it!!
    You are GORGEOUS, by the way! 😭🩷
