Just wanted to thank you Vikings fans for the support on the video by engaging in conversation (while roasting me 😅). Certainly the best fanbase in the league so far, at least when it comes to interacting with the channel. 💜💛 For the record I know I ended up saying 10-7, but I seriously could see #skol go 14-3 or 13-4! Definitely a top 3 team this season thus far!
I know right 😅as I said in the video, I'm predicting the Vikings to go 10-7 but that's me being conservative even still with that prediction, and potentially I could totally see them going 12-5 or even 13-4. I think they have a legit shot to win the NFC North and possibly the 1st or 2nd seed in the NFC.
Soldier Field matchup is a dog fight . Throw the records out the window . The Vikings seem to struggle there . Im a Viking fan but really this is the north and games are usually pretty tight . Skol
Vikings losing to Bears and Jaguars?🤔🤔🤔 I don't think that will happen, and with Lions may be 1-1 As for Rams and Cardinals, their season start is not as promising but their roster may say that could win to Vikings, but still don't know The hardest match of the season could be vs Seahawks
If the Vikings win all 4 of those that would put them at 14-3. Certainly possible with how they’ve looked so far. I’d still call that “the ceiling for them, right now. Anywhere from about 14-3 to 10-7 is about what I’d guess for them at this moment. Admittedly a week ago I was still expecting to see the Jags maybe show some things to be turning around. Seahawks, a week ago I didn’t think much of what I’d seen from the Seahawks, but that Monday game vs the Lions changed my mind. Switch the outcomes for Seahawks and Jags. Also the Rams haven’t had the start they’d like, but by week 8 there’s a chance they get some players back from injury. Vikings/Bears, I totally get that the Vikings should be favored in both but both games are late in the season so a lot can change by then. Also division rivalry games can get weird.
😅 You're probably right. If I was to bet money on it right now I'd probably put my money on the Vikings in both games. There's a lot of Football to go. Ya just never know when it comes to things like injuries. Things can get weird.
So… you were SO wrong about the beginning of the season, where you had them going 0-3 when they actually went 3-0… and so you corrected your predictions and you have them going .500 for the rest of the season, including losing games to the winless Jaguars, and the one win Cardinals? And getting swept by the Lions. So much for that lame apology. You’re already 0-1 with your new set. Get ready for another apology 😆
I did also say I could see them doing as good as 13-4 or 14-3 at the ceiling. 10-7 is just still an admittedly very conservative estimate. I just have my doubts for what would happen if the Vikings had some key injuries happen eventually. Darnold or Jefferson for example. Not wishing that to happen but it’s a long football season.
@@TouchdownTalksNFL please tell me a team that would be a contender if they lost their two best players? I think it’s always so lame when people say things like that… you don’t make predictions based on hypothetical injuries. They are not predictable… what’s your legit prediction if this team stays the same? You legit think the jaguars beat this team? Or is your actual prediction that the Vikings sustain significant injuries and wind up going 6-7 the rest of the way?
@@daviduhr4941 Another fact to remember with 14-3 also, is that since the schedule extension to 17 games (2021), only 2 teams have reached 14-3. Last season, the only team to even reach 13-4 were the Ravens. Making predictions doesn’t have to be black or white like that either. I agree it’s lame to make predictions expecting a ton of injuries. On the other side of that coin, I personally don’t care for predictions that just completely ignore the fact that injuries will happen. There’s a balance in the middle somewhere. The amount of injuries or severity of them is no guarantee, but it is almost a guarantee that every NFL team will deal with at least some injuries, some that can impact the team’s performance. That’s why I say, the “window” I’d predict for the Vikings is 14-3 to 9-8. Obviously 9-8 is hella low, and I’ll agree 😂 8 days after the fact, I’m kind of annoyed I only went 10-7 as that does seem low even with injuries. So my bad there. My prediction for what you’re looking for, a teams full potential that prediction is 14-3. Taking into account unpredictable factors (yes including injury) I’d still not be surprised if they drop to 10-7 or 11-6.
@@TouchdownTalksNFL maybe that’s why making predictions is dumb in the first place… but yeah, I appreciate the discussion. I hope your predictions are low 😆 the only thing I know for sure is that right now there’s no team out there that we cant stand toe to toe with. Skol
