For me it was honestly thunder light Ganon and monk maz because I cheesed the ganon fight in totk
Shadow link in ocarina of time and zelda 2 nes was the biggest pains for me
For me it wasnt any of the bosses on the list it was the final fight against girahim (idk how to spell it) right before demise
thunderblight ganon
In BOTW Thunderblight was definitely harder than monk maz koshia and in totk I do agree with demon king being the hardest even though it isn't that hard, but the Phantom Ganons were REALLY easy compared to the Queen Gibdo
Let's be honest, thunderblight Ganon was harder than calamity Ganon
Edit: Wow, 300 likes

Well... I didn't know anything about it when I fought it but i was wearing rubber armor lvl2 so I'm unshockable
I must say it was fairly easy and I beat it first time.

In Phase 3 of TOTK’s final boss, the Light Dragon comes to aid Link in the final battle. I asked myself this question: “did she come back and maybe draconification hasn’t removed everything that is Zelda?” I believed it is her love for her knight is what drove her dragon instinct/consciousness in saving Link from falling and aiding him against Draconified Demon King. We all seen that when her powers were activated when the one she loves is threaten in Breath of the Wild. It could only explains how the Light Dragon was able to carry Link and prevent him for falling.
So this means she didn't fully lost her humanity. She still remembers Link.
@@samyb4566 That’s exactly I was thinking
@@a.jthomas6132 Maybe this is also the reason why King Rauru and Queen Sonia were able to change her back to normal.
@@samyb4566I think so. Instead of awakening the Light power from within Zelda, they awakened Zelda from within the Light Dragon.
Nintendo really had given us the best version of Ganondorf we have today despite the lack of in depth to his character.
And let’s give praise for English actor Matthew Mercer for providing the voice of this iconic villain. 👏 👑
Who know. Maybe he will be at the Game Awards and get a trophy for his performance.
The lack of depth is shown more in the english adaptation.
They did cut off Ganondorf talking about courage, souls and hell.
i still personally think it’s oot ganon since he’s the only one who’s canonically defeated the spirit of the hero
Tp ganondorf better. I played totk in Japanese which makes him way better
@@Ceezmemefn08 he’s badass for sure, the final duel is so epic. TP would be a great anime adaptation IMO
Thunderblight boss in BOTW was a nasty one…
no it wasn't
@@worldoflaylamayfinally someone saying the truth🤣🤣
Especially in mastermode☠️
@@thedarklight1228mastermode was easier for me cus I'm used to fighting it, it was easy in the first place but in mastermode you got more experience
Would’ve been a cool and intense boss battle if the developers brought Twinrova back to Tears of the Kingdom.
I've been waiting for them to come back.
they also should have included twinrova as a boss in totk too.
@@3to5andglassy They're in two Tears of the Kingdom memories (behind Ganondorf, and they're young). Fun cameo, but that's all they got.
Having them as fun cameos is not good enough. @@WindMageMaster
@@WindMageMaster yeah
Ganondorf in Tears of the Kingdom was tough. Very tough.
not if your prepared
I agree
With the comments reply not the comment
Learn the timing of the flurry rushes then it’s easy
I went in drastically underprepared. I regretted it.

Fun fact about Maz Koshia, if you throw mighty bananas on the ground he will go for them and pick them up. Not only do the yiga do this, but it gives you a chance to attack him
I feel Demise (on Hero Mode) was harder than TOTK Ganondorf. I could only ever beat that guy by rigging the fight with potions. TOTK Ganondorf was an interesting fight by any measure, breaking hearts, flurry rushing me, flurrying my flurry rush, that long health bar, etc. But the fight doesn't make you work for your victory. Most likely you'd have killed him before you even get to see all his moves.
100% 👏
Try fighting totk gandorf without the master sword
@@lameman2900 I do that all the time. I even easily beat him without using fusions. Check my "lore accurate Ganondorf challenge" video, you'll see.
When TOTK Ganondorf did permanent damage, I knew this was a serious battle
I somehow survived with 1 heart and a bunch of hearty fruit
I was lucky to even live and I didn’t know there was food that eliminates the gloom effect but it was the best battle
Tears Ganondorf was absolutely a joy to fight (the Gloom attacks straight up DELETING hearts was genius!), but he's not actually that tough.
All of his attacks actually have rather predictable patterns and ways to avoid them. The most difficult thing for me was getting the timing down on the second dodge, because you have to identify which way he's going to swing (either horizontal or vertical) and react in about a split second.
After fighting totk ganondorf multiple times it’s so fun
There is way to chese trough 2nd phase
Rockets on shields
Savage Lynel bow + bomb arrows
@@stefanloncar6868 or just get good
The key to this is how he holds the sword. You'll be able to know what atk he'll use. Though the easiest way to this is just parry so you don't have to guess or make it a pain in the ass
A lynel is tougher than that. Killed Ganondof in 1st attempt
Fun fact about the dark energy balls that TotK ganon fires in phase 3 (I think) if you hit them with a melee weapon they get fired back at him like homing missiles. They don’t do a ton of damage but it’s more on him and less on you.
Only the master sword
I’m surprised queen gibdo isn’t on here, extremely tough boss
Queen Gibdo was easy peacey just run don't stop ... Very cool boss though
@@gebbsmcguily113 was absolutely difficult without a surplus of elemental items, which I didn’t have
same it took me 3 days to beat her
First time I fought her, I died an embarrassingly huge amount of times
@@lorenzorolim886 same here, probably died close to 50 times
Ganondorf in TotK was easy for me. I played TotK for 420 hours before attempting to beat the game. I had maxed out my hearts and armor and just wanted to get the game over with at that point, so I blazed through the last dungeon, auto built a tank to defeat army without getting hit and relentlessly pounded Ganondorf's forms until he died. I ate strength meals, and didn't bother blocking or doing flurry rushes since I had plenty of hearts to take gloom damage. He went down quick.
Thunderblight made me take a break from the game for over a month 😂 ganondorf was really hard but such a good fight
Same!!
LOL the first time i fought it that thing really caught me off guard when it started to move zig zag hit and run, makes me drop every single weapon in my inventory and beat me 7 times. That thing is the reason i perfected my dodging and parry😂
Ngl I had fairly little trouble with Thunder blight as I had collected the full rubber set and while it took a bit I managed to parry the zigzag attack. I feel embarrassed to say that out of all the blights I only had trouble with water blight but maybe that was because I didn't have the best weapon set and in a later play through I found that all the blights are relatively easy if you got the master sword beforehand.
Thunderblight was definitely harder than Demon King.
❤ Nice video! My top 5 is:
5. Thunderblight Ganon
4. Monk Maz Koshia
3. Onox
2. Ganondorf (TOTK)
1. Thunderbird
Note: I got killed a lot of times trying to defeat Onox (in his dragon form) in Oracle of Seasons even having all heart containers and a potion. I also got killed a lot of times by Thunderblight Ganon the first time I played BOTW because it was my first boss (I wanted to visit Gerudos first).
So glad Oracle of Seasons is getting some love, that game tormented me as a child. The puzzles were way less intuitive than the n64 games too, imo
Hot take: I actually enjoyed The Imprisoned fights. I didn't chop off its toes but jumped on to its head from above. That's the much more fun way to fight him. And as for fighting him three times, how many other bosses in video games do you fight three times? I don't hear nearly as many complaints about other bosses that you have to fight three times.
I often found that jumping on The Imprisoned's head usually only works once. As for the toes part, I'm convinced you only need to go with that strategy without the Groosenator once.
I actually loved Skyward Sword. That game is super underrated
@@DaddyGorilla37 Agreed
Glopper Blooper in Super Mario Sunshine is fought 3 times
I remember liking Demise in Skyward even though it was hard... the animation on the final blow made finishing the battle all the more thrilling... goosebumps!
for ganondorf totk it was one of the most fun bossfights ive ever done, I went in with only 10 hearts and 4 extra stamina charges and it was a joyride
IMO, Ganondorf in TOTK was not that hard of a boss, but it’s extremely cheap because if you enter the fight with almost all your hearts taken by gloom, you’re stuck with that. I had to go all that way to get to the fight, had all but two hearts taken by gloom, and then I found out the game won’t let you warp out to better prepare. The fight didn’t feel that hard, but I was forced to try and get through it without taking any damage.
I dont really think phantom ganon from TOTK is hard the only thing i think is hard is the fact that you cant touch the gloom and his clones also spawn gloom.
Edit: ganon just learn flurry rush ngl
Not to mention the fact that ToTK Ganon also has the moment of holy shit he has more health. Just watching the bar damn near go off screen scared me the first time.
A little surprised that queen gibdo isn't here.
I feel like all the older games like Zelda 1 and 2 had the hardest especially 2 i have ptsd from shadow link
My first play through of BOTW I was just winging it lol and I went after Vah Naboris/thunderblight ganon lol it was SOOOO hard but was able to win after line 100 times trying
Gman is very strong, and very angry in totk. Makes me wonder if they cut Ganon, pitman or plan, out because it would have been too much. Lttp pm was a bit more then I was ready for, an Gman kicked my bùtt countless times. So back to back? The masochist in me can only imagine.
Yep, I always knew Ganondorf from *Tears of the Kingdom* game was Super Tough and Hard to beat.
After playing Spirit Tracks, I feel Princess Zelda deserve to be a playable character for future Zelda games.
This man predicted the future, you have my respect good sir
7:47 fun fact! Zelda actually aims where your analog stick it pointed when shes firing arrows!
Me about to end your bad look on Zelda's aim in TP: In the Horsefight with our Ganondorf, everybody thinks that Zelda has a bad aim. However, what nobody understood: Zelda is supposed to aim in the direction in which the analog stick is showing. So for example: If you are riding a left curve and therefor hold your stick to the left, Zelda will also shoot to the left. Its so frustrating because you need to change directions really often in this fight.
i had most trouble with link to the past bosses. they were stupid hard and if you die, you have to start the dungeon from the start. they used to take me an hour
I have had to save state scum during the vati fight. That fight was kicking my ass
If we are being honest, this entire list should be almost all Zelda 1 and Zelda 2 bosses.
I like Gyorg better in 3DS since he doesn't actively swimmed right up to you to swallow you
As long as you keep swimming away from him, he'll never swallow you.
Thunderblight... im still trying to defeat that one.
If you get the full rubber set its much easier.
The helm is obtained by a side quest in the Faron region where you pull an ax that was attracting lightning by the stable.
The torso is acquired after completing the Thundra Plateau shrine quest if you locate the chest inside.
The leggings are acquired by completing the Song of Storms shrine quest if you locate the chest inside.
You can also make it easier by acquiring the master sword before doing any of the divine beasts.
And its possible to parry the zigzag attack.
I hope this helps and if you already defeated thunder blight I hope this information will be useful should you want to play through the game again
thank you very much for your help. i was able to finally defeat him and beat the game@@AnIdiotOnTheInterwebs
Gyorg on the 3ds version of MM almost made me rage quit 😂 I didn't even know that there was an extra phase, glad to know I wasn't losing my shit for no reason
the hardest bosses in totk are the sliver lynels.gloom hands, gleeoks.ganondorf and the seized construct. and also the dungeon bosses.
Duude i loved the lionel fights in general..! So good!
Not all of the dungeon bosses, the ones that I actually struggled with were mucktoroc and queen Gibdo, the other 2 were pretty easy
And I only really struggled with mucktoroc because I forgot I can just jump and arrow spam it
ToTK Ganondorf goes hard asf because your heart stops the moment he dodges your flurry rush bruh
I was wondering if Tears Ganon would be top (or at least high) on the list cause I felt like that was a rough fight but wasn't sure if it was just me.
Ganondorf is actually not hard to beat. When he flurry rushes to attack you, you have to parry with your shield.
Demon Kong Ganondorf can also flurry rush you flurry rush and he can easily break you hylian shield. He is a complete nusiance but i appreciated the boss because of Calamity Ganon
I would say that Queen Gibson was hard for me
I remember.asking my brother if he thought i would beat dorf after a couple hours of failing, and he said no, and i beat him that exact try and yelled "NON-BELIEVER!!!"
Great video!
The only boss in the whole of the legend of Zelda series, that I have died to around 20 times is thunderblight Ganon in botw. I have never thought so much about rage quitting before I fought thunderblight Ganon. 💀💀💀💀
Thunderblight ALWAYS gave me a good fight.
Moz koshia was cool but I wouldn’t put him as one of the hardest, not even close.
I avoided all spoilers for the dlc, I didn’t know a single attack in his move set, and managed to beat him without getting hit. The trials at the start of the dlc gave me way more trouble than he did.
@mojoplays for link to the past you forgot to mention that if you don't at least temper the master sword you have to charge up your sword in order to affect Ganon
I said it once and I’ll say it again: TotK Ganondorf is not that hard. He actually gets easier with every phase due to his disappearing hearts shtick in he second phase
I thought Ganondorf in ToTK was super easy and I did nothing to cheese the fight (also went in blind), but I also am pretty good at the flurry rush timing, I guess. I think I took like 5 hearts of damage total? And broke one shield.
I enjoyed constantly flurry rushing back and forth with him. It felt like dead man’s volley.
I’m not too good at video games which is why im surprised this was a hard one for others, idk. Demise was so much harder for me.
I had trouble with puppet Gannon’s worm in Wind Waker.
Where's Majora's mask?
Yeah, if you did that without Fierce Deity, it was quite difficult.
If you're not a pro at parrying/flurry rushing before the fight, Ganondorf in TOTK is very difficult.
Thunder light ganon varies on skill. If you can time your parry’s and flurry rushes its easiest blight. And for my 2nd play trough I did fireblight first and got daruks protection with makes it super easy
7:30 bro they be playing blade ball
All honesty? The master Kogha boss in botw, although I only died from being distracted of his muscles
Ocarina of Time is so good. The ending made me cry. Nobody knows that link saved Hyrule!
The Totk electric boss (I think it was called like the queen gimbo or something) is so annoying imo lol
My first time playing BOTW I did thunderblight first, I had no idea he was the hardest one to beat! I spent hours on that fight, completely discouraged for the rest of the game. Finally decided to do windblight next....🤣 Defeated first time around. Rest of the game went fine after that, all enemies felt easy after thunderblight!🤣🤣
Genuinely I have to say that the hardest Zelda boss that I fought was Demise since I got to him in less than one day 😅
Wow I didn't even know you were supposed to launch yourself onto the imprisoned, I just use the the gust at the bottom of the arena to get the height needed.
The final boss of link’s awakening is a cheat answer here but facing every single dungeon boss again consecutively is ROUGH
Honestly Tears of the Kingdom ganon was pretty easy to defeat so long as you have the Master sword and know how to flurry rush its easy
If you make a mini boss one of these videos make sure to add the mini bosss to get the face key in links awakening
Ganondorf 3rd phase TP Zelda’s aim is based off of where you are aiming the either the left or right stick, I dont exactly remember 7:43
Yeah I was about to comment nah it’s you😂
So monk MK was a difficult fight done brilliantly. It wasn’t given stupid mechanics or an unfair advantage, it was a legitimate test to actual skill, no luck involved. And I’d also like to speak for all of us TOTK players when I say we either nearly shat ourselves when ganondorf flurry rushed us.
Thunderblight is a wuss. And Maz Koshia, while challenging, doesn't stand much chance if you are sufficiently powered-up and stocked up. The Link to the Past and Skyward Sword bosses on this list are the ones I dread the most.
Do note... the Ganon in the Oracle games is not the full package, as you pretty much ruined Twinrova's resurrection ritual, as she was not able to sacrifice Zelda on time before you gave her a full whooping. In utter desperation and frustration to get rid of you, Twinrova sacrifices herself to finish the ritual, but what she got was a mindless being without intelligence but full of rage. It becomes apparent with the creature's first words....
"Gwoh hoh hoh... Gwah hah hah... Destroy... all... KILL ALL!!!!"
I found that the 2D bosses were largely MUCH tougher than the 3D ones.
7:24 Zelda Tennis, anyone?
Ganondorf TOTK was easy. It was queen gibdo who got me.
I remember having a tough time with phantom Ganon in oot 😅
For me the currently hardest bosses were Demise both imprisoned and unsealed final Girahim and some of the other bosses from skyward sword Ganondorf tears of the kingdom before he turned into a dragon wind and water blight Ganon Mucktorock Queen Gibdo Moragia Sluge like Kohga totk Seized Construct basically any Gleeok in totk the angler fish from awakening. to name a few
No bosses from OOT??? They should have no bosses from Twilight Princess, on this list- that is the easiest (and best) Zelda title.
George in the 3DS version did not give me much trouble. I had a lot of problems with Demise on the Wii version due to the motion controls for the Sky Strike not working 100% of the time.
You mean Gyorg the fish? I agree.
Did you play the skyward sword HD version on the switch and found it an improvement?
BowWow Links Awakening, I can never beat him. Till this day I haven't finished that game cuz I can't get past him. Wow actually all these bosses look hard. Are they as hard as BowWow? They look challenging.
The Phantom Ganon fight is easy with the sages. Since there’s 5 of the Ganons and 5 of you (Link and the sages), the sages just distract four of them while you fight one of the Ganon. Just rinse and repeat
DK Ganon in totk was actually pretty easy i thought. The 3rd phase when he's the dragon is so cool tho!!! I absolutely loved that part
It’s easy if you prepare for it, kinda like Ultra Necrozma in Ultra Sun/Moon.
My only question, WHERE IS BONGO BONGO?!? (Ocarina of Time Shadow Temple) I've played and beaten every zelda game, and that boss by far is the most annoying thing ever! The arena constantly bumping you up and down, while have to use the lens of truth just to see it's weak point (otherwise it's invisible), while firing a bow into the eye, WHILE DODGING ALL OF IT'S ATTACKS?! He's the master of aggravation.
I beat ganondorf first try with 11 hearts and no food and unfused master sword
⬇if you ran out of arrows while fighting Queen Gibdo
I completed the floating colosseum so many times I had like, 200 arrows 🗿
Totk ganondorf is definitely the hardest challenge I have ever faced in ANY, and I insist on ANY, video game.
What happened to Ganon (final form) from Ocarina of Time? Maybe I missed it?
His patterns are way too predictable, even on the N64.
Thunderblight was amazing
You guys should change mojo plays to Zelda mojo since you seem to focus a hell of a lot on the legend of Zelda series
The toughest battles for me was Ganondorf in Zelda tears of the Kingdom
The "corner trick" does not work on the FDS version of Zelda II. The AI is apparently better.
Btw, Ganondorf DOES block arrows in totk.
First time Ganondorf in tears was hard but second time he was easy as f
Of the three fight you have with the imprisoned I personally find the second battle the hardest of the three.
Gandomdorf was super easy for me. First try without ever getting low on hearts
You forgot Flowerblight Ganon 😂
The horror in my eyes when I saw Tears Ganon flurry rush my flurry rush…
Phantom ganon in totk was actually easy id you hided the sales would do the rest. It was like that when i took him
Waterblight ganon on master mode champions ballad waa the hardest for me in botw
I agree with some of these, not all of them though.
BRO!!!!!
MASTER KOGHA IN BOTW WAS SOOO DIFFICULT I HAD TO USE LIKE 9999999 FARIES 🤬🤬🤬
I don't quite like the explanations. They don't do full justice to the bosses. Demis dodges your finishing blow the first few times if you're not quick. Phantom Ganon reduces your movement space significantly with a gloom covered floor. These weren't mentioned.
