Carol Cymbala, you are a true gift from heaven! Thank you for bringing the country together with beauty, harmony, diversity and patriotism! I had tears streaming down my face!
Did you see former pres. Clinton watching in awe as the young woman sing the special solo part. I have to say I was also in awe to hear and watch er sing. this special arrangement of Battle hymn of the Republic. I've never heard an arrangement such as this one. Glory hallelujah! Praise God for the gift of song. Amen
Mr. Schumer introduced the choir because he was instrumental in having them sing at the Inauguration. For years he has attended the Easter Service at Brooklyn Tabernacle. He is a huge fan of the choir and he loves the church. Mr. Schumer was raised in Brooklyn and he attended Madison High School. He was not being a slime, he was being a supporter of the city and borough that he loves. Thank God that He used Mr. Schumer to give the church this platform to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. To you it was a beautiful performance, to the church it was a way to share the gospel. His truth is marching on.
I'm a Mormon, but I consider The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir to be one of the best in the world. Many people say, I'm not Mormon, but I like the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Know that we also admire the other Choirs. They make a great contribution to sacred art.
Beautiful , Amazing , so American , I am French , Frederic from Paris , and I do love America the greatest country in the whole world , this video makes me tears arrive in my eyes , so yes God bless America and you American people you can be very proud of your beautiful and amazing nation
🌸🌸🌸Brooklyn Tabernacle is my daily worship. I did not realize it was them in 2013. However, listening to them right now in 2019, generated this video in my feed and I am yet in awe!💞💞💞 #President #Anointed #MillionsWatched
I found it to be a bold and beautiful arrangement of a classic that has been done a few million times. The creativity while holding on to base score made for an incredible experience for both the choir and the listener.
I came to visit in October and at the service they announced that the choir would sing at the inauguration... Just saw this now on youtube and it was inspiring... love the choir director. The highlight of visiting NY was visiting the Brooklyn Tabernacle church. from Australia.
No disrespect to any other artists who performed at the inauguration....but, in my opinion, this was by far the musical highlight of the entire event. Yet, the mainstream media is focused on mishaps and lip synching done by others. BT should be booked up to the 22nd century right now. They're performance is so underrated.
God be Praised...Jason Webb & Mrs. Cymbala created an outstanding rendition for the wonderful Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir...and what can we say about ALICIA OLATUJA, OF THE OLATUA PROJECT, I love all her and her husband-Michael Olatuja's albums...this song just makes the icing on the cake. Again, God be Praised!!!
I've always loved the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir and this was a marvelous example of why. The young lady who was the soloist has an absolutely glorious voice. All I can say to this is a big fat AMEN!
Just come to Brooklyn at 180 Smith St.! To see full choir must come to 9 am or 12 pm service. Make sure to get there at least lore get decent seat.least a half hour before to get decent seat. Check website also brooklyntabernacle . org. I have been a member over 30 years and love the church, congregation and our pastor, James Cymbala and his wife Carol, the choir director..
It was a blessing to sing to the Lord on Inauguration Day, Our God is March On and is still in full control, God is still doing great thiings in and for this world. Amen. Congratulations also too you President Obama for being elected for your second term, let your heart be open to Gods voice in all your endeavors this theme.
The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir was chosen to sing at the inaugration BEFORE the presidential election had taken place and before there was 100 pct. certainity of who would win. I know for certain because I am a member of the church and it was announced to the congregation months in advance. The Morman Tabernacle Choir also does a beautiful rendition.
Stirring performance. Outstanding arrangement. If this doesn't touch you, you're not an American. Thanks for posting. Did you jack into the master console?
