Here's an extremely important tip : remove a copy of Cyber Dragon Infinity and replace it with Chaos Angel. It's a giant beatstick with removal on summon that we can make with both of it's effects active quite easily, and with Clockwork Night on the field it's attack is effectively 4500. If you don't have it in your ED you might as well just insta-scoop as soon as you meet a Kashtira player because you won't be able to do a thing to them most of the times. Arise-Heart blocks almost all of our combos just by existing and their numbers are way too high for most of our other monsters anyways. Just be be sure to get rid of Scareclaw or use ani Imperm/Veiler on it before the Battle Phase, it's by far the scariest monster in the entire archetype and can shut off Chaos Angel's effect to allow Fenrir or Arise-Heart to banish it.
@@MyNameJeff181 Easy... you just don't need one for Chaos Angel lmao Just get two of your level 5 or a level 2 and an 8 Light or Dark monsters on the field and boom, free Chaos angel. Just remember that the effect we actually care about is Light, the Dark one is actually kinda bad.
A few cards in the archetype limit us to summoning machines, like how RDA limits to dark dragon synchros. As for the Kashtira matchup, I’ve actually had a lot of good encounters against them. From using Jizikiru to simply wiping their board with a Chimeratech fortress clockwork night summon, I’ve not had as much issue against Kash players while using cyber dragons. I’d love to run chaos Angel but idk when I’d be able to summon her after using cards like Nachster
Love this video! Cyber Dragon was my first competitive deck and it’s been my favorite for years. I’d kill for some support from Konami, but until then, I’ll keep pushin as a cyber dragon main
Love this video ❤ I used to collect Ancient Gear cards(physical) before when I stumbled upon Cyber Dragon card and that is my first time loving the deck. I never was able to collect further but hey, now I can collect and PLAY the deck digitally. That's something. Hoping for more great vids like this. Love using decks that are not meta 😊
I faced Cyber Dragon yesterday in the DC. I almost got cooked since I play Rescue-ACE and most of my monsters I want to keep on board are, of course, machines
@@ZedLockYT indeed, but it's still manageable with the right board. If Fire Engine is on board and they special summon something, I usually go for one of my Air Lifters so I have possible follow-up and a non-machine Rescue-ACE that I can pop with Promethean Princess and keeps my traps online until it leaves the field
Nice work Zed! 👍 Always great to see Cyber Dragons in action. I’ll have to think about updating my own Cydra deck until I see what’s coming in the next packs next year. That & I have a few decks that are asking to be updated with some of the new cards I assume you’re happy knowing that some new Ancient Gear support was revealed recently
Thanks! Yeah, the new Ancient Gears are pretty awesome in my opinion, and can boost the archetype by a little bit, idk have to try it out at some point when it's released
Recently im playing other decks like black wing and psy but they arent as near as powerful and competitive as cydras are, the raw attack and firepower that deck gives you if you go for the gap (senna xd) its just glorious 😎.
@@user-wu8qc9bb3e optimized with a good engine any deck is competitive with like bystials and shit i would say, but pure, in my experience i could defeat any bw with no fear.
Have begun this game two weeks ago and there are some kind of words in the tutorial part confused me, could you make it more detail or easier to understand the combo for me?
Cyber Dragon is now better because of Clockwork Night. Cyberdark has more consistency and defensive power because of the negates and boss monster (Cyberdarkness and Cyberdark End). Cyber Dragons has power offensive power and board breakers (Chimeratechs). Both utilize Chimeratech Rampage for lethal/OTK. Cyberdark has more potential to brick because of the Cyberdark monsters and can die to ton of negates by opponent
@@ZedLockYTthankyou for the answer, cyberdark does sounds good with negate protection but if it's more prone to brick then i'll stick with building cyber dragon next! Still have to build the two craft only dualities tho hahaha
@@ZedLockYT clockwork night make every monster on the field a machine type.....you only need 1 cyber dragon or any card that have that name and you can use all of the monsters on the field to summon fortress...🤧
The lvl 5 Cyber Dragon can be special summoned in the hand if only the opponent has a monster on the field. The other mini CyDras can be NS or SS depending on their effects
@@ZedLockYT oh we’ll know I feel like an idiot for not knowing that when I have a cyber dragon card I should the read the effect again it’s been to long

Pretty good tip! Yeah and I recommend removing one Infinity for a Chaos Angel
How do you summon it without any tuner in the deck?

I like your Cyber Dragon and Cyberdarks Deck videos! After all,I'm a Cyber Dragon player for so many years!☺️
Glad you like them!
I'm liking the guides, your quick and snappy tutorial segments are very informative
Thank you so much! Glad my tutorial helped!
I faced Cyber Dragon yesterday in the DC. I almost got cooked since I play Rescue-ACE and most of my monsters I want to keep on board are, of course, machines
They aren't your monsters. They are our monsters.
That's a rough match up, you're basically a fusion material fodder

I feel like Zeus never comes up.
I think it's always better to have a OPT omni-negate then a board clear.
I am a beginner to yugioh and I love your video! I want to ask what should we do if we are forced to go first?

Optimized BW looks more powerful than Cydra, or the same power in my opinion Lmao.

Happy to hear that!
love the videos zed keep them coming!
Such an amazing deck
Really great video ! Do you think this decklist could be adapted and played in TCG ? Thanks
I've been waiting for this
One question ma friend what purely deck is the new meta deck😅? I plan on moving to purely.
Do nouvelles if you haven't. Also jinzo and barrel dragon would be awesome as well. I'm working on them in the TCG havent done MD yet

What deck format better?
I love CyberDragons but if you have no acces to Clockwork and Duality from hand, you havn't a good chance :/

Any tips for dealing with Snake Eyes?
Pray
Are there any different spell cards or monsters can support for cyber dragon too?
Fusion Deployment can be useful for pulling a Cyber Dragon from deck but it'll lock you out of your XYZ and Link summons for the turn.
How can cyber dragon be summoned off rip like that I thought only level 4 and 1 could be normal summoned I must of missed something

Did you ever watch GX?
Can you do a therion deck
Anyone seen dragon magia knight(dragon master knight retrain) yet?
No ash?
Nope, removed it, since we don't care about Maxx "C"
what's almiraj for ?
For the level 1 Cyber Dragons. With link summoning these Cyber Dragon's will be sent to the GY and they're GY effects can then be activated
Why Cyber Eternity Dragon?
It's just another free fusion option for the Cyber Dragons

Understood. Thanks!
