Trestle still my favorite bike park but Vail is fun. Wish they would build more as it seems it has the same style pitch as Angel fire! Angel Fire is my second favorite and close to colorado...
That section with the quick left and right and the flicker from the light coming through the trees was wicked. It looked like an old-time movie but with color. Sic ride.
I have some old footage of us riding Vail. We rode "Old Nine Line". It looked like that trail under the lift you guys rode. That sucker was steep. This was fun trying to identify some of the trails we rode in their original form. So sick.
Well done! Love Vail! Always have...Something about that red dirt and aspens. I'm pretty sure you could do multiple "Vail Follow Cam Fridays" to include all the goodness. Oops. No, never mind. Go to Winter Park :D LOL Actually CB/Evolution is another park I'd say could use a full DH bike. Thanks Nate! Happy Trails!
@@natehills9388 I don't but I also don't ride Banana Peel so ... I actually thought Trestle was perfect for an enduro bike. Lotta fun intermediate flow trails (Happy Camper, Paper Boy) and most of the more popular black ones (Rainmaker, Cruel & Unusual, 36 Chambers) you definitely don't need a DH rig.
Excellent stuff boys! Love riding at Vail, been a few years and looks like they have changed it a bit. Looks like you picked the right bike for the job.
Thank you for still shredding bikes on your channel and not doing bike part reviews and building stuff in your backyard. 🤘shred on! Always looking forward to your videos.
I enjoy anything MTB related, but no doubt about it Nate's channel is the best. His first Dirt Merchant video was when I found out DH riding was even a thing. I like Seth too, but nothing makes me want to actually get up and get out more than Nate's videos. Been to Sedona, Trestle and Angel Fire (I'm from PA) all cause I first saw em here.
Awesome video! i was out there 1st part of july on my new Hightower. I wanted to do Old 9 Line but the entrance had me a little concerned that my Hightower with 160/150 travel wouldn't be capable enough lol well at least that's how i rationalized it. PMT was such a fun trail. Thats the one with big tables right?! good riding Nate!
As the rear has 165mm of travel, it feel like slightly less. Which it is. That said, it is all I need at Vail and feels markedly more stable than my trail bikes with the big fork.
@@natehills9388 Slow???... he was so fast he just barreled through the jank, hence "Janker." My kind of riding. Gotta love the personalities that come out the trail. He needs to hang a set of balls from the saddle.... he would enjoy the wheel rub I suspect.
Favorite lift-accessed park in Colorado? Letssss Gooooo
Snowmass!
Ha! I don't have Colorado bike park money. I can barely afford China Peak Bike Park prices.
evolution bike park in crested butte. not as crowded
Keystone Man
Trestle!

I actually didn't know Vail had good dh trails till your vid last year introduced me. Fun place to shred indeed!

Old 9 has maintained its original character for 20 years. So good!
Yet again I can't quite believe what I just watched... awesome skills 🤙🏼
I can't wait to bike park again
Again and again.
I rode at Vail in 94, really primitive then. This looks suuper fun, I want to go!

Do you ride a DH bike at Winter Park?

It was! Time for another visit friend.
When the camera aimed at your pedals, it freaked me out; I couldn't see where I was going!
Vail looks rad! Def a spot to hit up next summer!
Oh sweet Vail, Colorado! I lived there for 5 years starting in 2001. Never went mountain biking😐 I will have to go back and reclaim the glory!
Definitely worth a visit.
Hello Nate, enjoyed the wild ride in Vail. Just arrived home from Sedona. What a magical place for MTB'n! Blue skies, Jg
Glad you enjoyed it!
Love that park
Diamond in the rough.
There is a new ice cream place by the covered bridge that is pretty good.
Wish I knew!
"Follow Ted Friday" good stuff!
Always fun riding with Janker.
ate shit on magic forest a few days ago, definitely a hard trail!

I personally enjoy the reviews and bikes bulding. Actually, we haven't seen one in a long time.

That table top was deeeep!
Hell yeah it was!
Would this satisfy for a full season? A home mountain?
DH fork on an SB 165?? I’m curious how it feels/geometry effect. Can you put a 29 up front? Killer ride! Makes me want to travel more!
The Boxxer is reduced to 190 and it feels great. Maybe a half degree slacker than stock. Feels great. You can mullet any bike if you want to.

Old 9 is definitely safer and more fun on a DH rig, haha.
I mean I have a Hightower and old 9 line it’s like super rideable,
Come to Crested Butte Bike Park!
CB is fun.
Oh, those trees to the side of the trail!!!! How many times did you actually clipped your handlebars to those trees? Editing room, right?
No bloody knuckles on this particular day, haha.
Nate if you were coming from the East Coast with your boys for 4-5 days, what park would you pick?
You can hit them all if you are here for 5 days. Each one is good for about a day of action.
teddy is a jib machine!
So much fun to ride with.
Sick Rididng Dude
Does the 165 with DH fork make it feel like a true DH bike or slightly less?

AWESOME 👏 👍 😎
3:23 tho
👍So much stoke ... so little time.👍
Forget the a or b lines. Teddy is finding c and d lines.
All the slow fun lines, lol

Anyone else at Snowshoe?
cheeky velosamba
Awesome shoes.
Bet you can make a video with out saying yo sick
There are a couple hundred on my channel without any speaking at all. Sorry if I got excited.
