Its alright ... but u probably did not play Mafia 1 or Red Dead Redemption 2 ... both are levels above any other story in a game I've played. Witcher 3 in terms of gameplay is defo on of the best games ever made
@@Tomenczo i see how those games can be called top 1 by some but RDR2 was a bit too slow paced for me and i dropped it after around 5-15 hours of playing even tho i did RDR1 100% i just see witcher 2 and 3 as better because of my personal preferences
@@Tomenczo I prefer Witcher 2 over both of those. The complexity of the story, the politics, the intrigue, the characters. They are impecable for me. RDR2 for me is like a great western movie, and Mafia 1 is also great, but I think neither of them have the depht of the Witcher 2
Slightly off topic but I just went back and looked at the games released in 2011. Skyrim, Portal 2, Batman Arkham City, Dark Souls, Uncharted 3… the list goes on. What a murderer’s row of classic games. No wonder Witcher 2 was overlooked at the time.
This game had the best written main story especially since it was mostly character driven. Each of the characters had their motivations and we saw enough of all of them to care and try to understand them.
i would say this game's main story is way more non-linear then W3 campaign and, the antagonist in W2 is way better then the one in W3 (main game, at least) and even though W3 soundtrack is amazing, somehow I just cant get W2 main theme out of my head to this very day

I don't like the translation. In Polish version Foltest uses shorter words and childspeak when talking to his kids. English version IMHO makes him more regal, but also harsher. Literall translation of his speech to his children: "Listen to me. We were arguing with your momma, but its all past now. Evil men deceived her and wanted to hurt me, but they were punished. Everything will be good now." "Don't cry, little son (synku). One day you will be king, and kings don't cry." "In a moment, my knights gonna come here. One day you will be ruling them. But first Boussy must wash his face and remove the tears." Also he says "to są krolewskie dzieci" at the end. These are royal children. The same sentence he said to ambassador back in camp, when Shillard called them bastards. He wasn't commenting their appereance, but the saying how he sees them. English Foltest was a king. Polish Foltest was a father.

Remaster is the same original game but "enhanced", so to speak. But if you mean recreating the game from scratch(with today's technology), then that'd be a Remake. Might sound like the same thing, but they're two entirely different things and not to be mistaken for other.
Witcher 2 was closer to Witcher books in lore, and had a better story, but Witcher 3 is more polished in certain things. Anyway, we will probably see witcher 1and 2 stories in witcher 3 soon.
I disliked his intro acutually. For one small detail. He is wearing full plate armor and gets slashed acros the chest. It felt so out of place, dont they know how full plate works.

Amzing story and great choice-and-consequences design, dragged down by low development time and as a result - mangled gameplay. People were crying and pissing about Cyberpunk2077 but this was much bigger fuckup, imo. Especially considering that most things about C2077 were fixed. Can't fix the engine issues of this game. Damn.

after all they have the best voices in polish Dub, it jsut hits diffrently

Lethos is by far one of my favorite characters in the Witcher series.
