I had a gift card for Christmas and purchased the Foxbox Dual analog Men's sport watch on Temu for under 20 bucks. It has analog and digital military time. You can also set the month and day on the watch via the WR 5 Bar, it also shows the date and month. It has a silicone band. Over all this watch keeps really good time and looks pleasing to the eye, along with that it's very comfortable to wear. I absolutely love it. My watch came in just a few days ago. One of the best features of my watch is it has a back light as well.
I just took delivery of one of these today and immediately took it apart to check the movement and seals, to see if it would be water resistant enough for swimming as the sales blurb says it is. The case back is screw down and has a seal and the crown has a seal as well. I re-lubed the seals and put it back together and took it for a kilometre long swim! It stood up to the swimming test perfectly well, no water got in and it's still merrily ticking away I'm pleased to say! The movement is a clone Miyota 2115 and the case is a plated alloy. I am very impressed with this watch for the money, I paid £13.70 delivered for it! I have the 5 link steel bracelet version and it's excellent the clasp much less so, but is functional. I like this watch so much I've just ordered another one, also with the steel bracelet. I bought the watch primarily to see if I would like it enough to bother building a high quality steel version with an NH35 movement as in pictures and video the shape did not much appeal to me, but having got one and seeing it on the wrist I'm a little surprised at just how much I do like it! Thank you for the review you inspired me to take the plunge, so to speak! lol
All tuna’s have the screws you referred to as fake valves. They are what holds on the protective shrouds. Most ss tuna’s weigh in the 160-210 grams range so this one is very light comparatively. I have the all black version of this watch. Excellent watch for the price. I bought it to see if I’d like the Tuna experience. So far I do.
Thanks for the info. Glad you like the experience. I do think some people won't like such a large watch on there wrist. You planning on buying the real thing next? Thanks for watching!
@@BudgetWatchReviews, I can’t decide. It kind of a niche watch and I don’t know how much I would wear it. I go sailing with a group of friends for ten days or so once a year. I was thinking the tuna could be a great watch for those trips…but the real tuna weighs a hell of lot and does look like a hockey puck on wrist. Knowing me I will probably by one because I just really like buying watches😇
Arrived today the updated Foxbox "tuna" on a bracelet... £11 O.o Its got decent lume, the shroud is actually pretty nice as is the case itself, bezel is just slop which seriously lets it down and am tempted to epoxy it in place as it rattles like an old grannies teeth in winter, bracelet surprised me as its actually not bad, OK its nowhere near as good as my 4R35 tuna but for £11 I am not complaining...
I just ordered the black one. Anniversary sale price £10.80 plus tax. Free delivery. Even though it has a VERY cheap module it will do for a day to day.
i bought this watch with the gold face. the colour is more like tangerine gold , very nice colour. dont expect too much from a 20 pound watch but the value is there.
I would like to see the other colours in the 'flesh' to see how they compare. Will pin this comment in case anyone is buying the gold one. Thanks for watching!
The movement (caliber) is Chinese Sheng Long SL-28, nickname "the tin machine" or "the tin mechanism" by some Asian guys. Can replace with Miyota 2115 without modifications.
Just got this delivered today! Pretty cool watch for the money. I got the metal bracelet since it was a $2 difference and can always use an extra 22mm bracelet. I'm swapping it for a NATO though since my wife likes it too
You will be pleased with it. It is a big watch though, so definitely makes a statement! I think the NATO is a good choice too. Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@ro63rto Its original a chinese SL28 movement in this watch, the guy in the video changed from a SL28 to a Japanese MIYOTA 2115 movement in a earlier video then in this video you linked he changed from MIYOTA 2115 to a SUNON SP28 movement.........
Waiting very interested your vid since yesterday. I discover your channel few days ago, with to both, you and me, happily users of the military CITIZEN. I think that your channel isn't a more channel on this kind of watch niche, but more wider and profound explaining to each unit. Cheers!!
I like the look with those indentations at the side. Is there maybe a slightly more upscale competitor with this same design feature or do all other tuna style watches have smooth sides?
I have one of those, great build quality for the price, the downside is the engine because it is chinese engine and i swapped the engine with miyota so it's good to go now, nice review though 👍
Have just bought one of these for work as have a real Tuna watch not much weight to it as my real watch has a bit of weight to it would give this only a 7 out of 10 😊
This whatch is beautiful. But there's something that bothers me about it. Those "fake valves" that you refered to are actually screws. And when you lose one of these screws (this happened to me, don't ask me how), it compromises the seal of the watch, because it leaves a whole that reaches inside the watch. And I couldn't find a screw that fit here in my city.
I never realised they were screws? I suppose that makes sense in being able to build the watch, quite simple design really. I can't imagine they were standard size screws either. Thanks for the tip!
hello.. i want to ask, on the back of the watch it says all stainless steel, is that true, the case is made of stainless steel or a lie to attract buyers?? please help me friend to make sure the material. thanks
I have looked at several stores on Aliexpress and they all say 'Original Quartz Movement'. Sorry I can't be more help. Thanks for watching and commenting!
I love so much this watches because I ride bicycle as commuter and I don't want to risk my mechanical homage watches. So being a quartz movement it's really a daily user.

@@BudgetWatchReviews I only know of 1 way, which is to scrape it off with sandpaper, if it's not s.steel the copper color will be visible, or dark gray if it's scratched. Or maybe there's another way I don't know.

The case back is the only thing made of "all stainless steel". At that price the actual case is most likely made from a zinc alloy.
