    You know it is spring when stacks of rosé wine start popping up in wine stores. Yay! Shoot me a comment if you want suggestions for some great rosé wines to try.

      Yes, can you please let us know a couple of roses you like?

      @@l.d.9903 Absolutely! I am a big fan of Côtes de Provence rosés (France), they are quite pale in colour, and light in body, with crisp acidity and a dry finish. Very refreshing! They often have pink grapefruit, red apple type aromas. I also like rosé from Tavel in the Rhône Valley (also France). This is quite a different style - much darker in colour, medium bodied, with fresh acidity and delicious strawberry and raspberry flavours. Also very dry on the finish. There are some very good value rosés from Spain - made from Grenache (Garnacha) or Tempranillo these days. Very fruity but dry on the finish. I am personally not a huge sweet rosé fan but can definitely recommend some if you prefer that style.

    Thank you that was well done. I am a guy who just never “thinks” of Rose’.. I have some from a vineyard in Chile. I am going to try it with striped bass that I make by pan searing and covering with sautéed olives, capers and tomatoes.

      @@JackyBlisson We had the meal, and I must say that the Rose' worked out very well with it. I have 4 more bottles from my wine club. I will definitely "pick our pairings" and enjoy it again. Thanks for opening my mind.

    I learned a lot from your video. I was actually looking for a sweater slightly fruity rosé wine but I think I picked the wrong bottle. It's a little dry and bit musky but still a good bottle of rosé. By the way, can you share any tips how to store the opened bottle of rosé and how long can I store it in the fridge once opened? ☺️

    • @JackyBlisson
      @JackyBlisson  3 роки тому

      Thanks for the comment! You can keep an open bottle (with the cork back in) for 3 - 5 days in the fridge.

      Thanks for your kind words. I am glad that you are going to give rosé another shot. There are so many different styles, hopefully you will find one that you like.
      I do like Carménère when it is made well. I can absolutely make a video about it. I will let you know when I do.

    if you work as a bartender and dont want to kick out minors, then get a walmart drink enhancer
    they have flavors like minty mojito, berry sangria and rose' wine but they havee no alchohol in the drink enhancers and you can mix it with water and serve it to minors
