So love this song been a hawkwind fan since 1974, jesus introduced me, no not a religious experience but a great work mate who had the long hair and beard look. Thanks Andy coombes. A rosmond colleague.
Marius. Thoroughly enjoyed your superb rendition of "Down Through the Night". If the Hawks are ever in need of another touring guitarist -you've got my vote! Seriously, you've got the goods my friend. Excellent job!
Superb. My fave bit: 1:01 You are concentrating hard and the music is good, but a little robotic . then 1:12: You stop concentrating and start 'feeling'. You hit 'the flow' and the music hits a whole new level. Loved it
This Song is so damn hard to play on bass. I am playing since 13 years and still have to capitulate to young Lemmy‘s amphetamine and acid induced bass lines.
Thanks man - yes I agree in hindsight it is a bit heavy on the lead guitar. Thanks for the crit - always much more meaningful when people give good criticism!

Great to see dedicated Hawks fans out there.....
Using a 12 string makes a massive difference to the sound. Excellent
Down through the night is my favorite Hawkwind song, I’m still learning the acoustic, but this is the song I want to learn the most!
Sounded like The Stranglers doing Hakwind. Has that 'Golden Briown' vibe. I like it.
Great cover man! I'm sure Dave would appreciate this!!

Great track, loved it.
Lovely
Like it a lot!
Hi Marius, cool, a great cover! Could you tab your version (intro)? Thanks!
Quality.
Nice one Marius! P&E.

Nice version. Maybe a bit too much lead guitar getting in the way whilst you are singing, but that's just me being picky. 😇

@@Bywoner Dave Brock always complained about Nik Turner playing over the singing. 😁Still a cool version though mate. 👍
