Anděl - Smichov - Prague neighborhood - Rain walking 4K HDR ASMR 🇨🇿 Czech Republic

It was drizzling with rain on this day, but I still went for a walk in the Prague neighborhood Andel (Anděl) at Smichov.
Anděl is a neighborhood in Prague 5's central district of Smíchov, centered on a busy interchange. The name means 'angel' in Czech and originates from the 19th century U zlatého anděla (Golden Angel) pub, named initially after a fresco in the gable depicting an angel. The painting of an angel was preserved after its demolition and is now displayed nearby the metro station entrance.
Anděl is a vital traffic center. Prague Metro's Line B runs beneath it, Anděl Station serves the area. Tramway lines in north-south and east-west direction cross there (lines 4, 6, 7, 9, 10, 12, 14, and 20). Otherwise, it is a pedestrian zone.
After redevelopment in the late 1990s, when French architect Jean Nouvel designed an office building called Golden Angel (Zlatý Anděl) above the Metro station with a picture of an angel from the movie Wings of Desire and quotes from Rilke on its facade, Anděl became one of the busiest parts of the city, with many offices of national and international companies. Across it (in the northwest quadrant), one of Prague's most extensive shopping malls, Nový Smíchov, can be found, including multiplex cinema Cinema City; another multiplex, Cinestar (former Village Cinemas), is nearby in the Anděl City complex. Smíchov Synagogue is also in the area.

I live at Vysehrad, I walked to Modrany and back today and took some photos for my mum. I thought about getting a gopro and recording a nice long walk for people. If you are interested I can walk for you for extra footage, I will charge you a beer or two.

Příjemná procházka, i když pro Vás v tom dešti asi moc ne. Tím víc za ni děkuji. Bavilo mě (je to v prvních pěti minutách videa) sledovat, jak byli dlaždiči šikovní a před každým domem vymysleli na chodníku jiný vzor z bílých a šedých kostek.

Máte pravdu... Je dobře, že se Praha vrátila k těm mozaikám, pamatuju totiž, že v 80.letech ji udržovali už jen v úplném centru, jako je Václavák a Příkopy atd., a všude mimo centrum to vyměňovali za levnější asfalt, nebo to tím asfaltem záplatovali, což vypadalo fakt děsivě 🤣 ale co si vzpomínám, dříve bývalo více vzorů - proložené na koso, více barev- červeno modro bílé atd., dnes se ty odlišné vzory dají najít už jen docela vzácně.
