this match is a perfect example of showcasing the fact that serena is not just a servebot, and this should slap hard the haters. technically, a 48% 1st serve shouldn't win as serena is just about her serve(according to haters), but ofc, the haters proven wrong again.

When you try to correct them, you didn’t indicate you were talking about the entire match. But to be fair neither did the original comment nor I. A little bit of context would have been nice, and your blunt immature comment was uncalled for.

I saw the stat of 45% visually and merely pointed it out, politely, and said wow I agree Serena is FAR from a serve bot. Then you said ummm I needed GLASSES, so it was you who chose to introduce rudeness into this conversation. I pointed out to you and said - read it and weep - it’s a saying - another one is “eat your words” - whatever it’s just UA-cam - but don’t come at me for pointing out something accurate you told me I “needed glasses” for (when you said it was the commentator who “said it” - why would glasses help me there …? love this match! huge hitting, some great serving and finesse from both players. Sabine makes some absolutely ridiculous /outrageous gets here. Serena’s forehand and forehand return got her through the match. if Lisicki got up for other matches the way that she did ^here, she would have been consistently top 5.
One of those matches where Rena was trying to blast her way through. Lacked the usual variety in her serves, just wasn't composed. 3rd set came in with her thinking hat on & the class told!! Happens to the best, i guess
That's one of the shots Serena hit that Steffi definitely would make. Lol Steffi had a killer slice backhand. No match for Serena on a drive backhand though.
@@henrym6758 Steffi was extremely athletic. I don't think anyone has been as athletic as Venus, though. I would put Venus at #1 and Serena at #2 on athleticism.
this was a great match man. Lisicki had some nice rotation in those hits. But man...that sun. I think some shade would be beneficial in some of these matches

45% the stats say, not 48; even worse! Agreed, farthest thing from a serve bot (see: Slam-less Pliskova, Hradecka, Vandeweghe, Muchova)
