Best match of Wimbledon tournament ! Style opposition but this match is the art to play on grass !

This match was pure entertainment from both players! I was on the edge of my seat watching it live. I wish someone could upload Schiavone vs Wozniacki AO quarterfinals. Schiavone played magical tennis the first set and was up a break in the second. Then she gassed out because of her marathon match against Kuznetsova in the previous round.

Literally hitting every single shot right back to Clijsters so we can easily dictate every point without even having to run.

Monica tried to junk ball Chris, but that isn't her game. I was surprised she was told to try it, and more surprised she stuck with it as the match progressed. Zina Garrison in the next round, unfortunately, DID junk ball Chris on top of rushing the net.

Asked about Chris' retirement, Monica said that she was glad that she didn't have to play her again.

Sometimes Venus just had these matches where she would play slower than usual but pre 2003 abdominal injury Venus would usually pull through anyway.

Brave serve and volley by Lindsay at 30-40 in the final game. It’s a shame the semi was the next day as she was drained for that match and consequently the final. Too nice to pull out of the doubles with Morariu

Jennifer was so out of shape here... that's why she faded against Testud in the next round. 2000 started great for her (semifinalist at OZ) but then it went downhill quickly (injuries and she started dating Xavier Malisse). Still, this rivalry was always a treat to watch! Thanks for the upload!

Venus and Serena are both great champions and both have shown their amazing resolve and heart through the years. It's a bit uncanny as how both of them were spared in emergency situations at Wimbledon by rain delays. It's almost like Wimbledon was their home court in a way considering their outstanding success there. Serena was helped a bit by a rain delay here and Venus a few years prior against Clijsters in the semifinals.

The hatred of both Serena and Venus was clearly evident in their earlier years, back when casual racism went unchecked and anyone who did call it out was labelled difficult. Always the queen Serena!!

Not only was Serena the Greatest tennis player, she was a far superior athlete. Maria was a good player but there just wasn't any comparison.

Serena's strokes are so good technically, both on forehand and backhand side. She's much more than just power.
