Im in Amarillo and we haven't got 4 inches of snow.

Well, snow was supposed to start here hours ago. So far there hasn't been a single flake. Three or four weeks back we had the same situation. Fourteen inches were forecast and there wasn't a flake to be seen. Even if it does snow 12"-18" is still nothing to get worked up about.
Make sure our new migrants have hotel rooms and room service in NY to ride out this storm!
They completely forgot about the West Coast. GMA, the West Coast gets weather as well.
Folks, if you are ever traveling to the west coast, especially to ski, do NOT count on GMA for storms, but rather, the U.S. National Weather Service will give you forecasts about impeding storms. The last thing you want is to be unprepared for deteriorating conditions in the Sierras. That can leave you in serious trouble.

What you're reporting here isn't "cross-country" if all you're reporting on is the eastern seaboard. It's an East Coast winter storm alert. 😂

@@IndigenousArtst cross country just means across the country. Could mean from east to west or north to south. Either way it's still across the country aka hitting multiple states as it moves. Even Cambridge dictionary uses it to describe a journey from Houston TX to New York. Aka still not "coast to coast" as you put it....but then again what do the people writing the dictionary's and studying the English language know when compared to your all correcting knowledge right?

ok, sure, but not everyone has access to a smartphone. They need to know how much, how often, when, where the events will occur. This is not just "oh this happens every winter how can people not know", this is a specific event.
Yet my roommates weather app always shows something different from my own. It’s better to be safe than sorry. I’d rather be prepared than think we’ll have a completely snow-free winter season

Why the f would anyone be driving around in this? If you have a job that requires you to be out and about in this dangerous weather, perhaps it's time to find a new job that doesn't prioritize profits over employee safety. The only people who really have an excuse to be out are lineman fixing down power lines.
A lot of people have low paying jobs and need to drive to work or will be fired! People have been living for centuries in cold, snowy climates.
