In my AU Bardock acts like a tough guy, but he is really a big softie (especially when it comes to cute things/people like Gine). Gine is a incredibly nice and positive Saiyan and she cares about her family A LOT! She goes crazy over adorable beings and she is Bardock’s calming and coping mechanism. ( Adorable, I know)

Actually it was confirmed that both of the Bardock specials are non-canon, as they weren’t part of Akira Toriyama’s original work. While the character himself is canon, those two special episodes aren’t. But man I wish they were canon
