  • A ride review of the forthcoming Segway / Ninebot E110s, a 28mph electric moped
    #electricmoped #electricmotorcycle #commuting #electricscooter
    Green-Mopeds.com is a London based electric-only moped and motorcycle dealer and importer. We started in 2017 by signing a dealership with Torrot (torrot.com/) after initially seeing an electric moped for rent on holiday in Portugal.
    Since then we looked for more brands and became the UK Importer for ECCity Motorcycles from France (www.eccity-mot...) and then Super Soco (supersoco.co.uk/) from China.
    In early 2018 we were then approached by Askoll (www.askollelec...) to be their first London dealer and soon followed by Lifan who were lauching their first moped the E3 (www.lifanmotos.....
    Later in 2019 we also signed up with SurRon with their hugely popular and lightweight LBX Lightbee (www.sur-ron.com)
    Mid 2019, we signed up to be the first dealer for Niu (www.niu.com) and sold the first 9 of their new NGT model when it was launched at the end of 2019.
    In early 2020 the UK Importer for Torrot moved on to other things and we became their importer to support existing customers of the Muvi range.
    Later in 2020 after a request from a customer, we signed up with Artisan (artisanscooter...) to sell not only their brand but also Horwin (www.horwinglob...) and Kollter (www.kollter.com/).
    Recently we have added ThElMoCo (thelmoco.com) who supply LVENG bikes (www.lvnengebik...) and now SunRa (www.sunraev.com) and hence offering the broadest range of any electric motorcycle dealer in the UK.
    We have been approached by many manufacturers to become their importers which we will consider when the time is right.
    Always happy to help so please feel free to contact us through any of the channels below.

    I am in the US where the ONLY Segway model they sell here is the e110a (which as far as I can tell, is mostly the same as the e110s), and I love everything about this scooter… except for the 48V battery and 1000W motor. I don’t even really want it to go faster than 30mph. I’d be great with software cutoff. I just want it to get to 30 from a dead stop fast enough to keep up with traffic. (Sigh).

      We would suggest you need something more powerful than 1kw to do that

      @@GreenMopeds yeah. I pretty much eliminated Segway from my search because they only sell the underpowered one here. Wish they sold the more powerful variants here.

      @@jmcminn1076 that's a shame. We only took segway because of the E300. Would not have bothered otherwise

      @@GreenMopeds concur. currently looking close at the CSC (rebadged Cineco) E-RT3, which is actually available here. electric scooters are just pretty hard to come by stateside, which is sad.

    I am (mostly) between Segway B110S and Super Soco CU Mini as an upgrade from e-scooter.

      If you look at the hill section of the video, you should see how the bike did with that. The Cu Mini is even less powerful.

    How good does the Segway b110s go uphill? it only weighs 39kg but only has 850 Watts

    • @GreenMopeds
      @GreenMopeds  Рік тому

      The b110s weighs 59kg and has a maximum load of 100kg and a maximum slope of 15° (about 1:7). This is combination with a lower powered motor AND only a 48v battery means I doubt it would get up the hill we take them up comfortably. For some reason Segway have chosen lowered powered motors with only 48v batteries (vs at least 60v)

    Whats the range if you increase speed to 40 MPH (not kph)

    • @GreenMopeds
      @GreenMopeds  10 місяців тому

      This bike would not really be capable of that speed

    • @sleepy670
      @sleepy670 10 місяців тому

      @@GreenMopeds thank you for your response. We have a dealer in our area that claims 38 mph top speed as noted per gps readings. Reddit has forums showing how to make the modification in the Segway app. And they too have achieved 37-38 mph confirmed by GPS readings. So it would seem the bike can put out at least 2.4kW if not more power to maintain such speeds with a 90kg rider.

    • @GreenMopeds
      @GreenMopeds  10 місяців тому

      @sleepy670 thats possible but not 40mph and that would be flat out, would only work on flat ground, fully charged, light rider etc. Its not a real usuable speed

      @@GreenMopeds understood. I'll try one out and use my GPS to see how fast it really goes with my weight.
