I dont really get the "hate" torwards jamie...is he hendrix? Of course not ...neither is Alex ...but jamie was a huge influence to the way Arctic Monkeys sound ..Plus he knows his shit when it comes to effects and he always sounds almost identical to the album...anyway u gotta love AM
He and Alex have a great chemistry and give the band its sound. They are not as good instrumentalists as the other two but they are crucial for the band.

They’re always good, they just chose to mature and evolve their material, the way bands ought to instead of being stuck in a time warp and playing the same stuff over and over again
