Dallas Willard- Holiness, Divine Presence & Divine Power - John 14

Dallas Willard walks us through chapter 14 of the Gospel of John to help us understand what Jesus taught his disciples about holiness and the presence of the Holy Trinity in their lives.
- Holiness is something that begins in us at the new birth, but needs to be completed. There are things we need to do. This will either feel impossible or easy.
- God wants us to become the kind of people that He can empower to do what we want.
- You cannot understand John 14 except in Trinitarian terms: three persons leading one life in us. The association between the three parts of the Trinity is extended to those who believe in Jesus.

chasing knowledge only leads to chasing knowledge and more questions about what we've learned.
relationship came first, then the knowledge of it. we know through His Spirit.
only then can we see knowledge for what is has been and at the same time beginning to have no more appetite for knowledge or to return to it.
