Yes, they are. My 11' Cedros weathered a +40min battle with a 5ft GT at night using live bait. It's way stronger then the stats given to it is. I did a video on that. Chris am having trouble picking a rod for my Penn slammer 3 6500high speed am going to be using it for rock fishing and surf 🎣 I saw the Penn carnage 2 surf rod mh 1 to 5 ounces lures 10 foot rod or the Okuma Cedros surf csx-s-1102mh 2 to 5 ounces lure 30 to 50 pound braid also am using 50 pound Daiwa j braid x8 420 yards my old rod was 10 feet you have any experience with that model Okuma is it strong and reliable before I make my purchase / will it land 🦈 100 pound or medium gt your talks on it not much videos on it really want to know from an expert on Okuma rods

@@riyaazarendsefwfs7220 The Rockaway has the same blank as the Nesika, only the componentry is different. For example the Nesika is lighter due to the split grip handle.
@@riyaazarendsefwfs7220 The Inception with the wooden handle, correct? I'm not familiar with that as it's a non-US release for carpers. When i look at it the characteristics remind me of the Surf 8K. The real test is comparing the reel's stats of both models.
