What a great idea!!!! As usual, I am late to the party. Nevertheless, I love this idea and it will add a little special something to my journal I am working on. I just recently found a whole bunch of fabric that I saved from mom's store she had back in the 60's and a whole bunch of floss that she used to sell in the store. She was a seamstress who sewed many clothes for the people in the neighborhood but mostly the big princess wedding gowns and of course the wedding parties. (I also had the best dressed Barbie from scraps of fabric!!) I can make labels from the fabric using the floss!!! Even after all these years and washing the fabric, they are holding up!! I also found pictures of use wearing the clothes she made so that will definitely add to the journal! Thanks for the great idea!
I really liked this video it gave me some good ideas of what to do with scraps it seems though that when you add all those things your covering up all your background that was very pretty to begin with
Where do you find fabric scraps if you are not a sewer or quilter? I do love the idea of a needle and threads pulling meditaively through material or even pieces of paper.
Good question. I have a video on ways to find fabric, particularly, if you don't want to purchase it by the yard, etc. ua-cam.com/video/g7ocBgOhdf0/v-deo.html

What a great keepsake of your mother's hard work and skills - and finding the picture of you wearing her creations is just priceless! ❤️
Thank you Daniela. This is a wealth of inspiration. I especially love small projects like this.
