The cats are unimpressed. They are experts at bathing themselves. Nothing new for them to learn.
They are thinking, "Dude, WE can teach you how to bathe yourself. The leg cross over the head move to wash the lower quarters IS a bit tricky but with the right stretches..."

No i think the cats are like when you are going to get laughed at and your friends don't want to miss it.
I love how Elizabeth is chill, lying down, just there for moral support, but Sammy is up and alert in case anything bad happens to his best friend. Meanwhile Buddy just looks resigned about the whole affair. Kudos to Dad for a gentle, loving doggie bath.
